본 강좌(V)에서는 특히 연성파괴의 개요와 그 기구에 대하여 기술하여 보겠다. 기술하는 내용은 연성파괴의 형식, 연석파괴에 대한 역학적인 금속조직학적 인자와의 관계 및 연성파괴에 대한 이론적인 취급의 일예등이며, 이들에 대한 개요를 가능한 범위내에서 서술식으로 기술하겠다. 본 강좌는 학회지 내용을 보다 쉽게 하자는 편집 방법에 따라 매우 기초적인 것만을 다루었다.

본 강좌에서는 설계를 하는 데 특히 고려해야 할 부분의 하나인 재료의 선택과 관련시켜 고분재 료의 기계적인 거동을 이해하기 위한 기초적인 개념을 소개하고 물건의 파괴기능과 설계 등의 관계를 구조재료의 관점에서 기술하여 보고자 한다. 앞으로 본 강좌에 기술되는 내용은, 금번 가 능하면 쉽게 학회지 내용을 소개하고 널리 보급하자는 새로운 편집방법에 따라 다소나마 독자 여러분께 참고가 될까하여 이미 발간되어 있는 책자 등에서 간추려 보았다. 앞으로 여러 차례에 걸쳐 기술하여 보고자 한다.

세계 과학자들의 국제모임인 '기후변화 정부간 패널'(IPCC, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)이 지난 2월 2일 프랑스 파리에서 지구온난화 최종 보고서'를 발표하면서 지구온난화와 기후변화의 주범으로 '인간의 활동'을 꼽고, 어느 때보다도 심각한 환경 재앙을 경고하고 나섰다. 본지에서는 보고서의 내용과 각국 움직임, 그리고 대응 기술개발 현황에 대해 알아보았다.

'90년 미 공군 연차회의(AFA)는 전시회가 병행하여 열렸습니다. 이와함께 각 언론사 기자를 위한 설명회를 통해 "사막의 방패" (걸프전쟁 개전후 "사막의 폭풍"으로 바뀜) 작전에서 사용되고 있는 화학전 방호복 등 8가지 최신 기술을 선보였습니다. 이 글은 이에 대한 내용이며, 걸프(Gulf) 전쟁에 동원된 최신장비에 관한 내용은 이번 호에서는 화보로 다루었으며, 다음호에 상세히 알려드리겠습니다

XML은 임의 형태 문서, 임의 응용에 대해 일반화 마크업(Markup)을 정의하기 위한 방법을 표준화하는 메타 언어(Meta Language)로서 기술적 문서 마크업을 생성하는 기법과 문서의 지능적 내용이나 체계를 정의하기 위한 언어를 제공하며, 다양한 응용들 사이에 구조화된 데이터를 상호 교환하기 위한 도구와 다양한 입력으로부터 출력의 내용, 구조, 조직을 표준화하기 위한 방법을 제공한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of career plateau(structural and content plateau) on IT service technical engineers' career satisfaction and career withdrawal intention. Survey data were collected from 161 IT service technical engineers. The results indicated that structural and content plateau were negatively related to career satisfaction, and content plateau was positively related to career withdrawal intention, but not structural plateau. In addition, the results of hierarchical multiple regressions indicated that content plateau had stronger effect on career satisfaction and career withdrawal intention then content plateau.

한국광학기기협회는 한·일 광학기술협력사업의 일환으로 기술세미나, 기술지도, 기술연수 등 다양한 사업을 펼치고 있는 가운데 올해에도 국내 광학업체에서 기술연수단을 구성하여 일본‘InterOpto 2006’참관과 광학세미나 청강, 오하라광학 주식회사 및 니콘 주식회사 견학, 일본 동북대에서의‘차세대 초정밀 광학부품 나노가공’기술교육 등의 연수를 실시했다. 본 고에서는 이번 연수 참가자들의 연수 보고서 내용을 토대로‘InterOpto 2006’ 전시 경향 및 세미나 주요 내용, 오하라광학 공장 현황에 대해 정리해 보았다.

This study analyzed content of and recognition on occupations shown from Technology Home Economics textbooks of the high school elective subject having a higher connection with the career development capability for the occupational world as shown from a curriculum analysis. Hence, this study selected 3 kinds of high school Technology Home Economics textbooks with a higher share from 6 in the 2007 revised curriculum and analyzed a frequency by characteristic of occupational content and recognition on description of a occupation. Content analyzed by researchers was examined by 2 school teachers to ensure the validity and objectivity of research findings. Research findings show that there is a great deal of frequency difference in occupations suggested by publisher and unit in the Technology Home Economics subject. Also suggestion frequency of the occupational classification by level from Korean standard industrial classification did not correspond to an actual situation of employment. Occupation names suggested from textbooks occupied 3.3% of those by Korean Occupation Dictionary, showing a higher suggestion ratio at occupations preferred by adolescents. In the textbooks, occupations were suggested from reading materials, photos and illustrations more than from texts. Recognition on descriptions of occupations showed for the most part the neutral(82.8%) and the positive16.2%)', and there was no biased intention even from some negative cases(1.0%). Based on research findings, this research has significance in that it suggested things to be considered for teaching career development capability in the high school Technology Home Economics subject and need for cultivating teachers' specialty to understand occupations and instruct career development. It also suggested improvements to be required for a new curriculum textbook.

본지 8903호 p.38~p.52에 게재된 울산대 성인수교수의 연재물 ‘외국의 현대건축사 소개’ 3회분 ‘컴퓨토피아와 컴퓨토포비아’의 내용 중 p.39 두째칸 5째줄 ‘ㆍㆍㆍ그림을 그릴 수 있는 기능이 있다’까지의 내용은 p.40 세째칸 26째줄 ‘활발하지 못하고 있다. 삼보 컴퓨터’가 다음에 삽입되어야 할 내용이었으나 조판상의 실수로 내용순서가 바뀌었기에 바로 잡습니다.

멀티미디어 정보표현 기술인 MPEG-7 표준이 빠른 속도의 진전을 보임에 따라 이를 활용한 검색 기술 개발도 활발히 진행 중에 있다 방대한 량의 동영상 내용 검색 기술 연구에 있어서 우선적으로 고려되어야 할 부분이 내용이 연속되는 프레임들의 분류이다. 이를 위해서는 물리적인 장면전환이 이루어지는 부분에 대한 실시간 자동 cut detection 기술 및 이 컷 프레임 영상에 대한 내용 기술을 자동적으로 수행할 필요성이 있다. 각 컷 프레임의 자동 내용 기술의 전처리로써 본 논문에서는 장면전환이 생기는 프레임의 영상의 어떠한 정보도 사전 정보로 취하지 않고 사용자의 개입이 없는 상황에서 영상의 컬러 특성 및 에지 정보만을 가지고 shape 영역 segmentation을 자동으로 실행하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 성능은 segmentation된 영상과 원 영상과의 영역비교를 통한 유사도에 의해 평가하며, 시뮬레이션 결과에서 제안한 알고리즘은 평균 90%이상의 영역 분할이 정확하게 됨을 알 수 있었고, 컬러의 구분이 명확하지 않은 자연영상에서도 robust한 segmentation 결과를 나타냄을 본 연구를 통하여 알 수 있었다.
