  • 본 연구는 "사이클론과 관성충돌 및 백필터의 제진원리를 일체화한 고효율 멀티 제진시스템의 최적화 설계를 위한 수치 해석적 연구(I) : 집진기 입구 최적화 설계"에 이은 일련의 연구로서 앞선 연구에서 도출된 사이클론부 하단 벤츄리(Venturi)에서의 강한 하향 기류의 가속에 따른 분진 재비산 가능성에 대한 추가적 검토를 위한 연구이다. 사이클론부를 통과한 기류가 상향 흐름으로 방향을 전환할때 좀 더 가속시켜 빠르게 곡률반경을 형성하여 조대 입자의 분리를 극대화시키기 위한 목적으로 사이클론부 하단을 벤츄리 형상으로 설계하였으나, 유동장 분석 결과 벤츄리를 통과한 처리가스 흐름이 가속되면서 호퍼 하단까지 약 4~5 m/s의 강한 하향 흐름을 형성하고 호퍼 하부의 말단 부근에서 상향 흐름으로 방향 전환을 하고 있는 것으로 예측됨에 따라 설계 의도와는 달리 벤츄리 설치시 호퍼 하단에 포집된 분진의 재비산을 예방하는데는 크게 역할을 하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study of the vestibule of pressurizing smoke control system installed in domestic high-rise buildings for evacuation in case of fire, when the door is open to forming characteristics of the air flow was analyzed using fire dynamics simulator and analyzed of variance. Vestibule which is compartment of the design condition, air flow in the exhaust damper was formed severe turbulence confirming preceding research. The door position is in the range of formed vortex, unsteady flow of air occurs at the point that the door could be confirmed. According to the NFSC 501A, door to symmetrically separate the average of 10 points or more as measured from the average of wind speed to do is based. Under these conditions, it is difficult to measure the characteristics of the upper air flow of upper points. so measuring points are subdivided by more than 64 points method presented in TAB because severe deviation of wind speed.

  • Recently, Inhabitants nearby the high embankment road have requested a civil complaint on the environmental deteriorations and economic harms. This study was carried out numerical simulation using the 3-D microclimate model 'Envi-met' in order to investigate the variations of a flow field and a temperature field at the road sections with a high embankment and a bridge. About the simulation of flow field, the wind field has changed due to the disturbance of airflow by a high embankment road considerably. And the wind velocity decreased in the whole of simulation space widely. But, the wind velocity and wind direction sited loose to the section of a bridge, relatively. In the results of a temperature field, the slight variations of temperature field were discovered by the disturb of the mixing flow from a high embankment road. These results indicate that the numerical simulation can provide useful information to minimize the disasters, such as traffic accidents and various microclimatic environments in the transportation projects.

  • Today's popular ventilation systems include the combined jet fans and electrostatic precipitation systems or the combined jet fans and vertical shaft system. Tunnels with these two ventilation systems applied have been designed and opened, more and more interest has been put in maintenance of a tunnel after opening. Therefore. it is to become more important to come up with the optimal operation mode and the method for the evaluation of ventilation system. In this study, to evaluate a tunnel ventilation and its economy, a dynamic simulation program was developed which can simulate the unsteady-state tunnel air velocity and concentration of pollutants according to the traffic flow variations and operation condition of a ventilation system. We clarified the effectiveness usage on tunnel ventilation by using it and also we could found the most economical ventilation operation mode by application in real exit tunnel. We obtained that combination of fan system and electrostatic precipitation system was more economical than jet fan priority operation mode.

Dust Collection Characteristics of Multi-layer Multi-stage Porous Plate System with Polarization Charge to Impaction Effect (임팩션 효과에 편극전하 방식을 부가한 다층 다단 다공성 플레이트 시스템의 집진특성)

  • The main object of this study is to investigate the Dust Collection Characteristics of multi-layer multi-stage porous plate system with polarization charging mechanism, experimentally. The experiment is carried to analyze the characteristics of pressure drop and collection efficiency for the present system with the experimental parameters such as applied voltage, inlet velocity, inlet concentration and stage number, etc. In results, the pressure drop becomes 18 to $134mmH_2O$, with increment of stage number (1 to 5) at inlet velocity $v_{in}$ = 3.11 m/s ($v_t$ = 18 m/s) and inlet concentration 3 g/m3 for inflow current. In case of both applied voltage 0 kV and non-inflow current, the collection efficiency of 5 stage is 92.5% at $v_{in}$ = 2.58 m/s ($v_t$ = 15 m/s), while it is estimated that the collection efficiency becomes about 6% higher than that of 0 kV and non-inflow as 98.5% at $v_{in}$ = 2.58 m/s for both alternating polarization charge (applied voltage 2.5 kV) and inflow current system.

  • This paper investigates local exhaust effectiveness in a room with a supply and an exhaust slots on the ceiling. The mean age of air is an indicator of supply effectiveness, while the mean residual life time can be used as an indicator of exhaust effectiveness. The distribution of local mean residual life time in a space is calculated by four different numerical procedures. The reverse-flow calculation method has been proved to show quite accurate results while it can save considerable amount of computation time and efforts, compared to the method by its original definition. It is concluded that the diffusion term in the equation of mean residual life time can be neglected. The spatial and temporal diffusion characteristics of the contaminant are also discussed.

기술사마당 - 풍력발전기의 소음영향 및 저감방안

  • 풍력발전단지의 운영으로 인한 주된 소음은 풍력발전기의 고체음과 바람을 가르는 마찰 기류음으로 대별된다. 본 원고(原稿)에서는 소음레벨을($L_{PAN}$) 정량적으로 예측, 계산하는데 이용하는 소음예측식을 풍력발전에 맞게 이론적으로 해석하고, 소음발생원의 특성을 분석하여 운영시 소음영향 및 저감방안을 검토하였다. 풍력발전 사업계획시 소음예측식과 소음모델링(CadnaA version4.1, SoundPLAN version7.0 해석 결과 등)을 이용한 예측결과를 서로 비교 검토하고, 운영시(사후환경영향조사 등) 실제 소음레벨과 소음예측 결과를 서로 비교분석하여 데이터를 축척하길 바란다. 제언한 소음저감방안이 불충분한 경우 발전기의 배치와 설치간격, 발전기종 및 발전용량, 설치장소의 재선정 등을 추가 검토할 필요가 있다.

Numerical Simulation of Ventilation in the Storage Hall of Tripitaka Koreana at Haein Temple in Case of Building Rearrangement (해인사 장경판전 주변 건축물 이건에 따른 장경판전 환기 기류 변화 해석)

  • In the present study, ventilation flow in the Janggyeongpan-Jeon at Haein temple in case of building rearrangement has been investigated numerically. To achieve more accurate results, detailed shapes such as buildings and the window grills are modeled and tree canopy model is adopted to account for the effect of trees in the computation. Wind velocities as boundary condition are taken from meteorological statistical data. The numerical results show that ventilation flow distributions at Janggyeongpan-Jeon in case of building rearrangement are nearly similar to those before rearrangement.

Analysis of Cooling Air Current and Efficiency of Air Conditioning in the Underground Subway Station with Screen-Door Opening and Closing (도시철도 역사 스크린 도어 개폐에 따른 냉방 기류 해석 및 효율 비교 분석)

  • Numerical prediction methods were applied to investigate the turbulent air currents and air-conditioning efficiency in an underground subway station, and the results compared to experimental data. The Shin-gumho Station($8^{th}$ floor underground and 43.6m in depth) in Seoul was selected for the analysis. The entire station was covered for simulation and the ventilation mode was ordinary. The ventilation diffusers were modeled as 95 square shapes of $0.6m{\times}0.6m$ in the lobby and as 222 square shapes in the platform. Cooling air of $47,316m^3/h$ was supplied and the returned air of $33,980m^3/h$ is exhausted in the lobby and the cooling air of $33,968m^3/h$ is supplied and the returned air of $76,190m^3/h$ was exhausted in the platform which is the same as the experimental data. The cases of the screen-door-closed and open were respectively investigated. A total of 7.5million grids were generated and the whole domain divided into 22 blocks for MPI efficiency of calculation. Large eddy simulation (LES) was applied to solve the momentum and energy equation.

Passive Control of the Supersonic Cavity Pressure Oscillations Using Porous Vertical Barrier (수직 다공벽을 이용한 초음속 공동 압력진동의 피동제어)

  • A computational study has been performed out to evaluate the effect of a vertical porous barrier on the pressure oscillations in a supersonic cavity. The porous barriers with different perforations were vertically installed into a rectangular cavity at Mach numbers 1.50, 1.83 and 2.50. TVD finite difference MUSCL scheme was employed to solve the two-dimensional, unsteady, compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The present vertical porous barrier considerably altered the characteristics of the time-dependent shear layers that occur at the upstream edge of cavity and remarkably reduced the pressure oscillations inside the supersonic cavity. The present results showed that the effectiveness of passive control using the present porous vertical barrier is dependent on Mach number and the perforation of the porous barrier.
