Functional prediction of unannotated proteins is one of the most important tasks in yeast genomics. Analysis of a protein-protein interaction network leads to a better understanding of the functions of unannotated proteins. A number of researches have been performed for the functional prediction of unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. A chi-square method is one of the existing methods for the functional prediction of unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. But, the method does not consider the topology of network. In this paper, we propose a novel method that is able to predict specific molecular functions for unannotated proteins from a protein-protein interaction network. To do this, we investigated all protein interaction DBs of yeast in the public sites such as MIPS, DIP, and SGD. For the prediction of unannotated proteins, we employed a modified chi-square measure based on neighborhood counting and we assess the prediction accuracy of protein function from a protein-protein interaction network.

This paper examines whether the functions of eCRM solutions affect the site visit and purchase by customers. The functions of eCRM solutions are extracted and classified into three categories of c-marketing, e-sales, and e-service. E-marketing includes campaign/event marketing, e-mail marketing, and questionnaire marketing; e-sales consists of recommendation system and incentive/discount promotion.; e-service is composed of e-mail call center and web call center. From the online survey, 146 responses are collected and analyzed. The analysis shows that the level of experience in campaign/event marketing, e-mail marketing, e-mail call center, and web call center significantly affect the website visit by customers and that the level of experience in all eCRM functions except e-mail marketing significantly affect the purchase by customers. The effects of those functions in eCRM on the website visit are moderate, while the effects of the functions on the purchase are low. The results from this study imply that eCRM needs to strengthen the effect on the purchase with more thorough analysis of the customer profile.

This study is to develope the performance scoring rubrics for the inquiry-based experiments of general chemistry course in the college of education. Two types of analytic scoring rubrics have been developed for nine different experiments. The first one is to assess scientific process skills from the written experimental reports. These analytic scoring rubrics include seven process skills selected from the Lawson's 'creative and critical thinking skills' and other known process skills. The second one is to assess the individual manipulative skills and experimental attitudes through direct observations by the teacher. The content validity of all scoring rubrics was testified by six science educators. Also the inter-scorer reliability of analytic scoring rubrics administered on the students' experimental reports was examined. The correlation coefficient between the scores obtained from the experiments and those of the written test for theoretical knowledges was found to be r=.663(p <.01). From the variance($r^2$=.440), we would say indirectly that the 56% of this experimental assessment does not overlap with the theoretical knowledges test and assesses students' science process skills, manipulative skills, and attitudes.

This study aims to suggest a management system consisting of functional ingredients by establishing guidelines for the analysis of functional animal products in Korea. Further, the guidelines can be used for validity tests of functional animal products. In addition, we can standardize the management system for details, and frame new laws for functional animal products. We researched the current studies on the analysis and assessment of functional foods, and established standard methods of analysis. We devised new analysis and assessment techniques to determine the efficacy and safety of functional ingredients for the legislation and management of functional animal products. This study may contribute to not only the safety and quality of functional animal products but also to enhancing the nation's health and the national image as being health-oriented, through improvements in the productivity and quality of functional animal products.

The purpose of this study is to provide successive online community operational model in response to the world wide open access movement which supports the broadest possible access to published research and other scholarly writings. This study is divided into four areas in a large. First, this study reviewed general community, online community and open access movement. Second, wellknown online scholarly community, i.e., KISTI Society, BRIC, DSpace were analyzed precisely focusing on the administrative and functional factors to find key to success. Third, based on the above two studies, major functions of community services were identified. For this work, community service functions and participation will were asked to the researchers registered in Korea Research Foundation. According to the results of the above works, this study presents the important functions of online community services as follows: management function of research results, posting function of issue reports, and provision function of integrated information on research proposal should be provided preferentially to researchers aged 30s and 40s.

A lot of Pond Wetland (Palustrine Wetland) are distributed in agricultural landscapes, Korea. These wetlands are evaluated as important resources for conservation of biodiversity. However, the study of Pond Wetland is rarely conducted except type classification in Korea. In this study, the function of pond wetland as ecosystem services is studied for conservation and utilization of wetland. Research was conducted in three steps; functionality analysis, functionality derivation, and importance analysis. A total of 22 features were derived by analyzing the previous studies. As a result of expert survey, 4 features were selected by each in the field of biological, environmental, and socio-culture among the 22 features. Importance was calculated by conducting a cross-functional features using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, 10 ecosystem service functions of pond wetland were derived through expert survey; (1) Water Storage & Irrigation, (2) Vegetation Diversity, (3) Amphibian & Reptile Habitat, (4) Water Purification, (5) Aquatic Insect Habitat, (6) Nutriments Control was derived, (7) Groundwater Recharge, (8) Fishery Habitat, (9) Eco-Experience & Education, and (10) Aesthetic landscape. It is expected that this study is able to utilize in evaluation of pond wetlands ecosystem services by further study on analysis of functional importance and economic value index.

This paper examines the values of various library functions according to users' points of view. To execute this study, the several 'circumstance', related variables and 'condition' variables that lead to factors or functions of academic libraries were measured. Analysis was carried out in three stages. In the first, factor analysis was used on the three multi variable dimensions to ensure that the groups of variables loaded significantly and uniquely on the respective dimensions. The second phase of analysis involved the use of binary logistic regression analysis to complete research models. In the third phase, t-test was used to identify significant differences in the independent variables for additional explanation of the models. Books, competition & effectiveness and fee verses free (fee-free hereafter) are the three main factors that distinguish not only the purpose of using an academic library but also the degree of influence on knowledge, information and library facilities for the users. In addition, the fee-free factor related to digital library facilities was also uncovered.

최근 들어 보안에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 많은 보안 관련 프로그램이 사용되고 있는 상황이다. 하지만 안전성을 예측하기 어려운 보안 기능을 완벽하게 구현하기 위해서 현재의 테스팅 방법론만으로는 완전성을 보장할 수 없으므로 보다 안전한 보안 기능을 구현하기 위해서 정형명세 방법은 반드시 필요하다. 또한 실제로 시스템들이 개발되는 과정에 있어서 설계될 당시와는 달리 결함을 가질 수 있다. 시스템에 대한 명세가 정확하다 하더라도 개발자인 사람의 개입으로 인해서 개발하는 도중에 명세와 다른 결과를 초래하여 결함이 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 결함은 개발자나 사용자에 의해 쉽게 발견되기 어렵다. 만일 보안 시스템이 알져지지 않은 결함이 있다면 비밀 정보가 쉽게 누설될 수 있다는 큰 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 통신망을 사용하는 인구의 확대와 더불어 다양한 형태의 통신 서비스가 제공됨에 따라 시스템의 특성이 복잡해지고 불법적인 자료 접근의 위험도 많이 노출되고 있다. 따라서 명확한 정형명세 보안기능으로부터 자동 코드 생성은 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 여러 정형 도구를 사용해서 보안기능에 대한 정형명세를 작성한 후에 소스코드 생성한 후, 정형명세를 이용하여 설계 및 구현한 프로그램에 대한 명세와 소스코드간 일치성 검토 방법을 개발하여, 정형명세를 통해 생성된 보안기능 소스코드의 보안성 측면과 성능적 측면의 Teade-Off 분석하는 것이다. 논문에서는 인증 관련 보안 기능인 S/KRY에 대해서 4개(STATEMATE MAGMUM, Rational Rose 98, SPEAR, VDM-SL)의 정형도구를 사용하여 명세 후, 소스 코드를 생성하여 생성된 각 코드에 대하여 비교하였으며, 현재 상용화 되어있는 Bellcore 의 S/KEY 시스템과의 비교를 수행하였다. 분석에서는 제품의 효율성뿐만 아니라 보안성을 중요하게 생각하였으며, 앞으로 보안 관련 소프트웨어 개발에 사용될 수 있는 도구들이 가이드 라인에 대한 정보를 제공한다.

최근 들어 전력 계통은 점차 복잡해지고 계통 규모 역시 빠른 속도로 성장하고 있다. 이러한 환경 하에서 전력계통의 안정적, 경제적 운영을 담당하고 있는 한국전력거래소는 EMS(Energy Management System)를 통해 실시간 전력계통에 대한 정확한 판단을 기반으로 전력계통의 안정성과 경제성 확보에 주력하고 있다. EMS의 다양한 기능 중 스카다(SCADA) 기능은 단순히 취득 데이터를 처리하는 기능뿐 아니라 인텔리젼트한 기능을 탑재하고 있는데 이중 대표적 기능이 스카다 토폴로지(SCADA Topology)라 할 수 있다. 스카다 토폴로지는 그 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 스카다에서 실시간 취득, 처리되는 아날로그와 스테이터스 데이터를 기반으로 전력계통에서 운용하는 각종 전력설비(발전기, 송전선로, 변압기, 조상설비 등)에 대한 가압 또는 무압여부를 스캔주기(2초)내에 결정하는 기능을 말한다. 현재 전력거래소는 100인치 화면 16장을 연견한 Rear Projector에 전국전력계통도 화면을 제작하여, 한눈에 전력계통의 가압 또는 무안상태를 표시 실시간 감시에 활용하고 있다. 그럼에도 국내에서는 스카다 토폴로지에 대해 소개된 논문이나 소개가 부재한 형편임을 감안하여, 본고는 스카다 토폴로지의 기본 알고리즘을 분석하여 국내 스카다 기능의 선진화에 기여하고자 한다.

This study aims to explore the status of next generation OPAC functionalities adopted by Korean academic libraries, and factors affecting their functionalities adoption. So 181 OPACs among 191 Korean academic libraries' OPACs are surveyed using a checklist consisting of 27 next generation OPAC functionalities. The relationships between the next generation OPAC functionalities adopted by academic libraries' OPAC and 6 factors of library, i.e., establishment, region of universities, volumes in library collection, total library expenditures, total target users, and automation solutions are analyzed by using SPSS Statistics 21. It is found that all factors except establishment of universities significantly affected the adoption of the next generation OPAC functionalities, and further detailed analysis for each factors is provided.
