Study of Numerical Modeling of Swirl-Premix Burner for Simulation of Gas Turbine Combustion (가스터빈 연소기의 연소장 해석을 위한 스월 예혼합 버너의 수치적 모델링에 관한 연구)

  • The flow and combustion characteristics in a premixed swirl combustor with a double cone burner are numerically analyzed to adopt a swirler model. The internal recirculation zone formed at the burner exit can be realized by a swirler with inner and outer diameters of 56 and 152 mm, respectively, and accordingly, the flow rate and radial velocity were determined. To select the tangential velocity, swirl and recirculation angles are introduced. A tangential velocity of 40 m/s produces an internal recirculation zone similar to that in a combustor. At the liner exit, the errors in temperature and velocity are 2.8% and 0%, respectively, and they are negligibly small. However, NOx emissions are underestimated by 67% in the numerical results obtained using the swirler model. Although considerable quantitative errors are induced by the swirler model, it can be useful numerical model for the EV burner because it can approximately simulate the essential flow and combustion characteristics in a premixed swirl combustor with a double cone burner and it is expected to make combustion analysis efficient in a gas turbine combustor with complex geometries.

  • GPS satellite orbits could be estimated precisely using GPS dynamics as well as GPS observations. Most of the perturbations are available to be generated using satellite position, velocity, well known model equations and coefficients. However, who wants to calculate solar radiation pressure (SRP) should choose a SRP model and estimate the coefficients of a SRP model. The accuracy of SRP model depends on the model characteristics. Therefore this paper has estimated coefficients of SRP models using CODE precise orbit product and compared the accuracy of orbit propagator depending on SRP model. The results show that the extended CODE orbit model (ECOM) and the reduced ECOM achieved cm level fitting orbit for the CODE 1-day orbit. Also orbit propagation model without SRP model consideration could get tens of meter orbits compared to CODE orbits.

Efficient Data Acquisition Technique for Clinical Application of Multileaf Collimator (다엽콜리메이터의 임상적용을 위한 효율적인 정보 취득 기술)

  • The MLC(multi leaf collimator) in charge of important role in radiation therapy field recently have been exchanging from shielding block into it rapidly, owing to being convenient. However, MLC can be occurred the leakage dose of inter_leaves and the error of algorithm in imput and output from digital signal. We compared the difference of imput method to MLC made by Varian Cop. with the error and effective field induced by MLC shaper and film scanner based on XimaVision value as using MLC layer of various shapes. According to comparing standard value with them to basic MLC layer (test1-5), MLC shaper was $0{\sim}0.29cm$, $0.23{\sim}3.59cm^2$ and film scanner was $0{\sim}0.78cm$, $0.24{\sim}3.89cm^2$. At the MLC layer to be applied in clinic, MLC shaper was $0{\sim}0.54cm$, $0.04{\sim}1.68cm^2$ and film scanner was $0{\sim}0.78cm$, $0.24{\sim}3.89cm^2$. The more distance and field from axis of central line increase, the more bigger the error value increases. There is a few mm error from standard point at the process which imput various information to apply MLC in clinic. and effective field did not have variation of monitor unit and dose owing to being a few cm2 error against real field. But there are some problem to shield critical organs because some part of target volume induced by the movement of organs can be not included, therefore we have to pay attention on the process to imput MLC layer

  • 산업의 발전과 더불어 농업인구는 해마다 감소하고 있으며 농업 연령층은 고령화 현상이 나타나고 있다. 전체 농가인구와 호당 농업인구가 줄어들고 있는데 반해 호당 경지면적은 매년 증가하고 있다. 노동력은 농업생산비의 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있고, 농가의 연령층 또한 고령화가 되어가고 있음을 고려해 본다면 농업의 기계화ㆍ자동화의 필요는 절대적이다. 수확은 재배 과정 가운데 노동력, 시간 및 비용이 가장 많이 소요되는 작업이다. 본 연구는 수확용 매니퓰레이터의 개발을 위한 기구학적 분석을 하는 것이다. 구체적인 연구 목적은 매니퓰레이터의 정방향 기구학 및 역방향 분석을 통해 방정식을 구한 후 장치를 작동시켜 반복오차를 측정한 후 이 값을 이론값과 비교하여 검증하도록 하였다. Machining Center의 2차원 원호절삭정도 자동진단 System의 개발에 관한 연구

  • 지금까지 공작기계의 성능은 주로 기하학적 운동정도, 위치결정정도, 공작정도등의 시험 및 검사에의해 평가되어왔다. 그러나, 공작기계의 수치제어 System으로서의 평가는 충분히 행히지고있지 않았다. 원호절삭 정도시험으로서 Direct Test법은 공작물을 직접절삭하기 때문에공구나, 공작물의 영향을 받아서 공작기계의 운동정도만을 검사하는 것은 곤란하다. 그래서 직접 절삭하지않고 원호절삭 원동정도를 평가할 수 있는 방법으로서 Circular test법과 Double Ball Bar법이 개발 되어 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 상술한 2가지 방법의 대체 방법으로 간단하고 값싸게 제작할 수 있는 새로운 원호절삭 정도측정장치와 측정 system을 개발하여 이 측정기로측정한 원호형상과 Machining Center의 운동오차 요인과의 정량적으로 고찰하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 3차원 솔리드 모델러로부터 Modeling한 후 제작된 model 에 사용자가 원하는 측정 위치를 지정함으로써 자동적으로 측정용 NC Data를 얻을 수 있는 알고리즘을 설계하고 이를 Program화하였다. 3-D Modeler로서 Unigraphics를 사용하였으며, 공작기계는 FANUC Controller를 장착한 Machining Center이다. 측정용 센서는 접촉식 Probe를 사용하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 CAD시스템에서 구축된 Geomaatric Model로부터 직접 측정을 위한 NC data를 얻고 이 data를 가공후의 측정 Data와 비교하여 봄으로써 제품의 가공정밀도를 확인해 볼 수 있으며, 가공시의 간섭 check, 잔삭가공여유, 과절삭등 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 향수 지속적인 연구개발을 통하여 data의 통계처리 및 공작기계의 오차 보정등을 고려하여 줌으로써 기계상에서의 측정 data에 대한 신뢰도를 구축할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Error Characteristic Analysis and Correction Technique Study for One-month Temperature Forecast Data (1개월 기온 예측자료의 오차 특성 분석 및 보정 기법 연구)

  • In this study, we examined the error characteristic and bias correction method for one-month temperature forecast data produced through joint development between the Rural Development Administration and the H ong Kong University of Science and Technology. For this purpose, hindcast data from 2013 to 2021, weather observation data, and various environmental information were collected and error characteristics under various environmental conditions were analyzed. In the case of maximum and minimum temperatures, the higher the elevation and latitude, the larger the forecast error. On average, the RMSE of the forecast data corrected by the linear regression model and the XGBoost decreased by 0.203, 0.438 (maximum temperature) and 0.069, 0.390 (minimum temperature), respectively, compared to the uncorrected forecast data. Overall, XGBoost showed better error improvement than the linear regression model. Through this study, it was found that errors in prediction data are affected by topographical conditions, and that machine learning methods such as XGBoost can effectively improve errors by considering various environmental factors.

  • Recently, the demand for precision machining through multi-axis machining has been greatly increased. However, it is difficult to evaluate the geometrical accuracy of the machine tool because of its complicated geometric relationship. In this study, we organized the KS/ISO specifications which are distributed in various regulations, and re-organized the geometrical precision evaluation items of multi-axis machine tools. In addition, a test workpiece was proposed to evaluate and analyze the accuracy of a multi-axis machine tool, and a test workpiece was machined according to predetermined methods and procedures, and then the machined surfaces were measured using CMM. As a result, it was verified that the machining results of the standard workpiece and the precision of the machine tool were very similar qualitatively and quantitatively. From these results, it can be confirmed that the precision analysis of the multi-axis machine tool is possible only by machining the test workpiece.

A Study on Failure Strength of the Hybrid Composite Joint (복합재 하이브리드 조인트의 파손강도에 관한 연구)

  • With the wide application of fiber-reinforced composite material in aero-structures and mechanical parts, the design of composite joint have become a very important research area because they are often the weakest areas in composite structures. In this paper, the failure strengths of the hybrid composite joints which were composed of a combination of an adhesive joint and a mechanical joint were evaluated and predicted. The 10 hybrid joint specimens which have different w/d, e/d and adherend thickness were manufactured and tested. The damage zone theory and the failure area index method were used for the failure prediction of the adhesive joint and the mechanical joint, respectively and the hybrid joints were assumed to be failures if either of the two failure criteria was satisfied. From the results of experiments and analyses, the failure strengths of the hybrid joints could be predicted to within 25.5%.

Adaptive Control of End Milling Machine to Improve Machining Straightness (직선도 개선을 위한 엔드밀링머시인 의 적응제어)

  • A recursive geometric adaptive control method to compensate for machining straightness error in the finished surface due to tool deflection and guideway error generated by end milling process is developed. The relationship between the tool deflection and the feedrate is modeled by a modified Taylor's tool life equation. Without a priori knowledge on the variations off cutting parameters, time varying parameters are then estimated by an exponentially windowed recursive least squares method with only post-process measurements of the straightness error. The location error is controlled by shifting the milling bed in the direction perpendicular to the finished surface and adding a certain amount of feedrate with respect to the tool deflection model before cutting. The waviness error is compensated by adjusting the feedrate during machining. Experimental results show that location error is controlled within a range of fixturing error of the bed on the guideway and that about 60% reduction in the waviness error can be achieved within a few steps of parameter adaption under wide operating ranges of cutting conditions even if the parameters do not converge to fixed values.
