  • 기계간 지능형 자율 협업을 기반으로 유비쿼터스 생산시스템을 목표로 하는 u-Manufacturing 시스템은 IT와 기계간 융합을 통해 이를 차세대 생산시스템으로서 기존 단위기계 제어에서 공정상 혹은 운영상 연동이 요구되는 일련의 기계들이 상호정보를 교환하고 이를 근거로 제어가 자율적으로 이루어지는 지능형 제어방식을 근간으로 한다. 본고에서는 이러한 궁극적인 IT기계융합시스템의 내용과 그 전단계에 이루어진 다양한 형태의 IT기계융합사례들을 살펴본다. 특히 정밀 생산 공정이 요구되는 공장에서의 기반기술이라 할 수 있는 초정밀 모션시스템에 있어서의 IT융합기술 대한 내용을 고찰하여 미래 IT융합기술의 발전방향을 전망해본다.

Minimizing Machine-to-Machine Data losses on the Offshore Moored Buoy with Software Approach (소프트웨어방식을 이용한 근해 정박 부이의 기계간의 데이터손실의 최소화)

  • In this paper, TCP/IP based Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication uses CDMA/GSM network for data communication. This communication method is widely used by offshore moored buoy for data transmission back to the system server. Due to weather and signal coverage, the TCP/IP M2M communication often experiences transmission failure and causing data losses in the server. Data losses are undesired especially for meteorological and oceanographic analysis. This paper discusses a software approach to minimize M2M data losses by handling transmission failure and re-attempt which meant to transmit the data for recovery. This implementation was tested for its performance on a meteorological buoy placed offshore.

Analysis of Radio Resource Utilization for a Massive M2M Communication in LTE Systems (LTE 시스템에서 극 다수 기계간 통신을 위한 무선 자원 사용량 분석)

  • In this letter, we consider a 7-step transmission procedure of a large number of machine nodes when they simultaneously request random access to transmit uplink data. We model the radio resource utilization of LTE systems, and analyze the overloaded resources. From the simulation results, we show that the resource of PDCCH becomes significantly overloaded as the number of machine nodes increases in a cell. To alleviate the overload of PDCCH, we allocate radio resource of PDSCH to PDCCH. The result shows that the resource utilization of PDCCH is improved.

  • This paper introduce the improvement of the pupil motion recognition algorithm in the previously reported "Eye-Motion Communication System using FPGA and OpenCV". It is a system for generalized paralysis and Lou Gehrig patients who can not move their body naturally, recognizing the pupil's motion and selecting the text in the FPGA in real time. In this paper, we improve the speed of motion recognition by minimizing the operation of eye detection function based on the user being general paralysis patient.

  • At present, some evolutional system has been used to promote the efficiency of the DNC(Direct Numerical Control) Controller. However, these are many inconvenience to this operator because it lacks harmony in interaction between the computer and the NC(Numerical Control). Also, there are some controversial poults when data error occurs at the Data Input/output. According1y, this thesis explores a new Data Remote Control System. In this study, the NC Controller of the DNC network has to Bet full data by removing data error in this system. In this system, the main merits are easy manufacturing and the convenience of Data Input/output. That is, remote control of the NC machine tool is possible without mutual interaction between the computer and itself.

  • Handover is needed in multi-hop relay systems to support mobility. The main purpose of handover is to provide the continuous connection when a MS migrates from the air-interface of one BS to another air-interface provided by another BS. Especially the handover between different systems is essential to next generation network. Vertical Handover technology in Mobile WiMAX MMR system is very useful for operators to introduce to Mobile WiMAX system in an overlaid cell environment. This technology will be applied to technology which hands MRS(Mobile Relay Station) over to different systems for system performance enhancement in Ubiquitous environment overlaid between Micro ce11(Frequency 1,FA1) and Macro cell(Frequency 2,FA2). In this paper, FA1 and FA2 are used in order to perform Vertical Handover of MRS(Mobile Relay Station) according to suggested conditions. interferences from neighboring BS or other sectors of 6 macro cells surrounding center Macro cell are analyzed and throughputs are measured according to suggested conditions.
