  • In this study, experiments on the improvement of the emotion classification, analysis and accuracy of EEG data were proceeded, which applied DEAP (a Database for Emotion Analysis using Physiological signals) dataset. In the experiment, total 32 of EEG channel data measured from 32 of subjects were applied. In pre-processing step, 256Hz sampling tasks of the EEG data were conducted, each wave range of the frequency (Hz); Theta, Slow-alpha, Alpha, Beta and Gamma were then extracted by using Finite Impulse Response Filter. After the extracted data were classified through Time-frequency transform, the data were purified through Independent Component Analysis to delete artifacts. The purified data were converted into CSV file format in order to conduct experiments of Machine learning algorithm and Arousal-Valence plane was used in the criteria of the emotion classification. The emotions were categorized into three-sections; 'Positive', 'Negative' and 'Neutral' meaning the tranquil (neutral) emotional condition. Data of 'Neutral' condition were classified by using Cz(Central zero) channel configured as Reference channel. To enhance the accuracy ratio, the experiment was performed by applying the attributes selected by ASC(Attribute Selected Classifier). In "Arousal" sector, the accuracy of this study's experiments was higher at "32.48%" than Koelstra's results. And the result of ASC showed higher accuracy at "8.13%" compare to the Liu's results in "Valence". In the experiment of Random Forest Classifier adapting ASC to improve accuracy, the higher accuracy rate at "2.68%" was confirmed than Total mean as the criterion compare to the existing researches.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of engineering design-based ocean cleanup classes on STEAM attitudes and creative engineering problem-solving dispositions. Furthermore, during this process, we tried to determine interesting points that students encountered in engineering design-based classes. For this study, a science class with six lessons based on engineering design was developed and reviewed by a professor who majored in engineering design, along with five engineering design experts with a master's degree or higher. The subject of the class was selected as the design and implementation of scientific and engineering measures to reduce marine pollution based on the method implemented in an actual Ocean Clean-up Project. The engineering design process utilized the engineering design model presented by NGSS (2013), and was configured to experience redesign through the optimization process. To verify effectiveness, the STEAM attitude questionnaire developed by Park et al. (2019) and the creative engineering problemsolving propensity test tool developed by Kang and Nam (2016) were used. A pre and post t-test was used for statistical analysis for the effectiveness test. In addition, the contents of interesting points experienced by the learners were transcribed after receiving descriptive responses, and were analyzed and visualized through degree centrality analysis. Results confirmed that engineering design in science classes had a positive effect on both STEAM attitude and creative engineering problem-solving disposition (p< .05). In addition, as a result of unstructured data analysis, science and engineering knowledge, engineering experience, and cooperation and collaboration appeared as factors in which learners were interested in learning, confirming that engineering experience was the main factor.

  • The present study empirically confirmed knowledge of ageing and quality of contact were predictors affecting middle-aged Korean's ageism against the elderly and verified mediating role of intergroup anxiety between not only knowledge of ageing but also quality of contact and ageism. To investigate causalities of factors, we purposively collected 400 samples from 20 Dongs evenly located in Jeonju and 393 samples, survived the data cleaning such as missing values, outliers, normality and covariance conditions, were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, reliability, confirmatory factor analysis and structural model analysis. Followed were the selected contributions of the present study. First, the knowledge of ageing and quality of contact were predictors of ageism mediated by intergroup anxiety. Second, the knowledge of ageing and quality of contact did not directly affect middle-aged Korean's ageism against the elderly. Third, intergroup anxiety had strong effect on ageism. The contributions suggested increasing knowledge of ageing and providing contact experience to middle-aged Korean as combating strategy against ageism.

  • With the growing demand for online food delivery (OFD) services via Online to Offline (O2O) platforms, it is required for academic researchers to identify the success factors of OFD businesses. In line with this, this research examines the impact of the core service attributes of a restaurant (hygiene, interactivity, trust, and popularity) on business success in the OFD platform context from the perspective of information asymmetry. Furthermore, the moderating effects of hygiene factor between the core service attributes and the success of restaurants are evaluated. We utilize 1,146 restaurants registered on the largest OFD platform in Korea. The results of this study demonstrate that hygiene (certification), trust (franchise), popularity (favorite) factors have positive impacts on the success of OFD businesses. Moreover, we find that franchise restaurants with high response rates to customer reviews and inquiries achieve higher sales when they have hygiene certifications than those without the certification do. The key findings bear significant contributions to prior literature by empirically substantiating the pivotal role of service quality signals in fostering restaurant success on the OFD platforms. In addition, this study provides business implications for restaurants in O2O platform.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the nation's institutional environment on start-up intention of employees and the mediating role of risk-taking propensity in the relationship between these variables. This study classified the institutional environment into institutional profile regulation, institutional profile norms, and institutional profile recognition. The research data were collected through questionnaires for office workers belonging to domestic companies, and 322 copies of questionnaire data were used for hypothesis verification, except for questionnaires that were omitted or unfaithful. The results of this study are as follows. First, institutional profile regulations and norms were positively related to start-up intention of office workers, while institutional profile cognition had no significant effect on the start-up intention. Second, institutional profile regulations and norms were positively related to risk taking, while institutional profile cognition had no significant effect on risk taking. Finally, risk taking was found to partially mediate the relationship between institutional profile regulation and start-up intention, and completely mediate the relationship between institutional profile norms and start-up intention. The theoretical implications of this study are as follows. First, this study makes a theoretical contribution in that it revealed that the country institutional profile regulation and norms are important prerequisites for start-up intention and risk taking. Next, unlike previous studies, this study makes a theoretical contribution by presenting a start-up intention model of office workers consisting of perception of the institutional environment and risk taking, which is the individual characteristic of entrepreneurs. The practical implications of this study are as follows. First, the government and local governments should strengthen regulations on institutional profiles so that start-ups can be activated. Second, the government and local governments should strengthen the norms for institutional profiles so that start-ups can be activated. Finally, the government, local governments, and educational institutions should devise measures to strengthen the risk taking of start-ups.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate current nutrition labeling status, levels of recognition and patterns of consumption of domestically processed meat products. The survey results show that 47.4% of products (81 out of 171) were labeled with nutrition information. Where general product labeling and nutrition labeling were provided, it was read by 84.9% and 66.8% of the survey subjects, respectively. The most common reasons for not reading product labeling were 'hard to understand it' (46.2%) and 'not concerned' (30.8%). This was attributed to respondents finding it 'useless' (39.3%) and 'hard to understand the nutrition contents' (32.8%). As for the positive effect of enforcing a nutrition labeling system, 62% of respondents affirmed 'ease of selecting products which are good for health'. The reading of general product labeling showed a significant positive correlation (p<0.01) with the reading of nutrition labeling. The amount the nutrition labeling was read showed a negative correlation (p<0.05) with comprehension of the information on the nutrition labeling contained. Therefore, providing more information on the nutrition labeling for the consumers of processed meat products and also educating them more comprehensively about the nutrition, which would ultimately help them improve their dietary life, is needed.

  • Purpose: Bereavement Memorial Service has been held every year by the hospice team at St. Vincent's Hospital for the purpose of supporting the bereaved family who feel grief and mourning. The purpose of this study is to find out the attitude of the bereaved attending at bereavement memorial service (BMS) and to find out the areas needing improvements to set up better memorial service. Methods: Hospice team sent invitation card to 180 families of patients who admitted and passed away at hospice ward Nov., 2003${\sim}$Oct., 2004. Among them 22 families attended the BMS meeting, which was held on 26th Nov., 2004. The researcher collected data from 22 families with 'Questionnaire' survey. Except identifying data and 2 dichotomy questions, we used open-ended questionnaire. 1 researcher conducted a telephone interview survey in 18 families who couldn't attend at BMS meeting. Results: The median age was 56 (range $16{\sim}19$) and there were 37 females and 3 males. They were patient's wife (22), mother (4), husband (5), daughter (4), mother-in-law (1), siblings (1), brothers wife (1). Duration after bereavement, $1{\sim}3$ months (17) was the highest frequency. 36 families agreed 'the dead experienced the death with dignity'. The reason of agreement to the death with dignity was 'the patient died in preparation' (16). 'the patient died in well-being condition spiritually' (9), 'the patient died in comfort physically (7). 4. persons thought the dead died with indignity. The bereaved defined 'the death with dignity' as follows: 'acceptance of death & death in spiritual well-being' (9), 'death in physical comfort condition' (7), 'the death in psycho-social well-being' (3), non-respondents (10). Most families (21) were still in difficulty to overcome bereavement grief. The answer regarding the method to overcome the difficulty was 'with spiritual sublimation' (13), 'with devotion of oneself in daily life' (10), 'with devotion to mourning as it is' (3). With regard to their attitude to invitation, 'having joy and thanks from hospice team' (21), 'grief' (4), 'suffering' (4). Toward the existence of hesitation about attendance at BMS meeting, the result as follows. Nonexistence of hesitation respondent (34), existence respondent (6), the reason for hesitation was various; 'the meeting reminds me of the suffering times', 'the meeting makes me to recall, and it will be likely to cry', and so on. The needs and feelings to memorial service meeting were various; 'it was meaningful time', 'it was good to recall about the dead', 'more meeting annually' and so on. In respect of the most difficulty after bereavement, in attendant family, 'depression' (10) was the highest frequency, whereas, in non-attendant family, the most difficult thing was 'financial problem/role difficulty (6). Conclusion: This study shows the rate of attendance was high in bereaved whose bereavement duration $1{\sim}3$ month. Most of bereaved were still suffering from bereavement grief within 1 year. Although most families didn't hesitate and felt positive mood to invitation, the rate of attendance was low. Comparing with two groups between attendant family and non-attendant, the latter felt more difficulty in 'financial problem/role difficulty, on the other hand, the former felt difficulty in 'depression'. Hereafter, the additional study about the factor relating to these attitude and needs of the bereaved relating to memorial service will be necessary.
