The Effect of Internet Community on the Neighborhood Relationship - Case study of Mokdong 'The Sharp' apartment area (온라인 커뮤니티를 매개로한 공동체가 근린관계에 미치는 영향 - 목동 'The Sharp' 공동주택 중심으로)

  • This study examined the effects of the online community, such as chatting, book-cafe on the neighborhood relationship. Through a case study of 'The Sharp' apartment area, the characters of neighborhood relationship between user and non-user were compared. The factors affecting the community relationships were analyzed by regression analysis. According to the results, the residents using the online community shared their emotions, thoughts and information with their neighbors so that the level of neighborhood relationship was higher. To reprove the neighborhood relationship being cut off the online community should be handled as an important factor in the planning of apartments. This study as a basic research is expected to contribute to policing against crimes and accidents in apartments.

  • 본 연구는 주거의 근린 환경이 청소년의 인성 특성과 어떠한 관계가 있는지를 비교, 분석해 봄으로써 바람직한 주거 환경을 조성하는데 기초적인 자료를 제공하고 청소년들의 건전한 성장과 올바른 자아실현을 위한 바람직한 교육 환경으로써 주거 환경 방향을 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

3D Adjacency Spatial Query using 3D Topological Network Data Model (3차원 네트워크 기반 위상학적 데이터 모델을 이용한 3차원 인접성 공간질의)

  • Spatial neighborhoods are spaces which are relate to target space. A 3D spatial query which is a function for searching spatial neighborhoods is a significant function in spatial analysis. Various methodologies have been proposed in related these studies, this study suggests an adjacent based methodology. The methodology of this paper implements topological data for represent a adjacency via using network based topological data model, then apply modifiable Dijkstra's algorithm to each topological data. Results of ordering analysis about an adjacent space from a target space were visualized and considered ways to take advantage of. Object of this paper is to implement a 3D spatial query for searching a target space with a adjacent relationship in 3D space. And purposes of this study are to 1)generate adjacency based 3D network data via network based topological data model and to 2)implement a 3D spatial query for searching spatial neighborhoods by applying Dijkstra's algorithms to these data.

The Relationship between Particular Matter Reduction and Space Shielding Rate in Urban Neighborhood Park (도시근린공원 미세먼지(PM)저감과 공간차폐율과의 관계 - 대구광역시 수성구 근린공원을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how much particulate matter at the center of the urban park is reduced compared to the entrance of the park, where the particulate matter problem is serious. It also endeavored to analyze the relationship between the space closure rate and particulate matter reduction rate in the center of the park through the collection and analysis of experimental data. Seven flat land type urban neighborhood parks in Suseong-gu, Daegu were measured at the same place for three days. The research results are as follows. First, the center of the urban neighborhood park had an average temperature 1.05℃ lower than at the entrance and an average humidity of 2.57% higher. Second, the rate of fine dust reduction was PM1- 17.09%, PM2.5- 17.65%, PM10- 14.99%. As for the reduction rate of particulate matter, the smaller the size of the park, the greater the reduction rate. In addition, the reduction rate at the center of the park was lower on days when particulate matter concentration based on the weather reports was low. The higher the concentration at the park entrance, the higher the reduction rate was. Third, a higher the rate of space closures at the center of the park resulted in a higher effect of particulate matter reduction. Noting this, the relationship between particulate matter reduction and the space closure rate in urban neighborhood parks was clearly shown. We hope to be the basis for more extensive experimental data collection.

Development of Green Building Certification Framework for Urban Neighborhood Scale Development (근린단위 녹색건축인증 평가체계 개발)

  • Green building certification is being implemented in various countries around the world for the purpose of securing sustainability and reducing energy use and carbon emissions. Korea has been implementing G-SEED, a green building certification, for buildings since 2002, but in foreign countries, the evaluation target has been expanded from buildings to neighborhood units, cities, and infrastructure. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to establish Korean green building certification system in terms of neighborhood scale. In order to make Korean certification scheme for neighborhood communities, three major international certification systems (BREEAM Communities, LEED-ND, and CASBEE-UD) were compared. Comparison was executed about definitions and goals, certification system and range, certification categories, and regulation relationship by literature review. Based on the results, the evaluation system proposal including the scope, subjects, and items for green building certification in Korea was proposed.

Restoration of Local Community Based on Apartment Residential Space (아파트 주거공간에 기초한 지역공동체 형성에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims at exploring the restoration of local community based on apartment residential space through the questionnaire survey of residents and community movement organizers. Apartment residential space has a serious limit to the restoration of local community due to the physical feature of closing compartment. But, at the same time, it has many communal elements as well. The survey shows that residential community movements are developing beyond compensatory community movement, although it is yet to be an ideal type of local community in a nonnative sense. Generally, apartment women's associations, together with the representative commission of residents, play a key role in residential community movements. Particularly, community movement activities have a positive effect on improving the neighborhood relationship. Residents themselves think so as well. This study implies the value and possibility of apartment residential movement as an alternative strategy against contemporary urban problems.

  • 본 연구는 서울지역 아파트 거주자를 대상으로 거주자의 주거환경 만족도, 인구통계학적 특성과 주거형태에 따른 주거환경 만족에 차이, 그리고 주거환경 만족도간에는 상관관계가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울지역 아파트 거주자 500명을 대상으로 2009년 9월 1일부터 2009년 9월 20일까지 조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 빈도 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan Multiple Ranger's Test 등을 계산하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울지역 아파트 거주자의 주거환경만족도는 중간이상의 수준을 나타냈으며, 사회환경 중 단지질서 만족도가 가장 높았다. 둘째, 거주자 변인에 따른 시설환경 만족도는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 거주자 변인에 따른 근린, 사회환경 만족도는 유의한 차이가 있었다. 4) 주거환경 만족도 변수상호간에는 주택환경 만족도와 단지 내 환경 만족도, 단지 내 환경 만족도와 관리상태 만족도간 밀접한 상관관계가 있었다.

A Psycho-behavioral Aspects and Neighborhood Relationship in the Multi-Family Housing (집합주거에서 심리행태적 환경과 근린관계)

  • In this paper, a psycho-behavioral aspects which have important effects on the resident territorial behavior were investigated and analyzed. Data were sampled by questionaries survey in Seoul and Daejon metropolitan cities. A total of 518 questionaries were completed by the resident those were mostly homemakers. The results of this study could find to support the following conclusions. The resident who associate with more neighborhood have higher level of using common spaces. Those associate with more neighbors tend to feel safer, the resident use the common spaces more frequently are likely to feel safer. The resident belong to the intimate group have stronger territorial feeling against strangers. A well organized territory may provide more intimate to neighborhood association.

  • A analysis on the spatial features is required for exploratory spatial data analysis of information about space location(population ecological factor, social ecological factor) to manage the store factors, the service industry, etc. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide correlation analysis method between the types of service trade using dependence between spatial objects on the geographical space and statistical correlation and to analyze the spatial features through the deduction of correlation analysis between the types of the neighborhood trade area.

Analysis of Factors Affecting Life Satisfaction of Local Residents in Urban Regeneration Projects: Focused on General Type of Neighborhood Regeneration in Seoul (도시재생사업에서 지역 주민의 삶의 만족도에 미친 영향 요인 분석: 서울시 근린재생 일반형을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to present policy implications for future urban regeneration projects by deriving factors that affect residents' life satisfaction by region. To this end, a survey was conducted and multiple regression analysis was conducted using the Changsin/Sungin-dong, Haebangchon, and Garibong-dong regions where the general type of neighborhood regeneration project of Seoul was conducted. As a result of the analysis, it was found that life satisfaction increased when autonomy among the local governance factors in Changsin/Sungin-dong and autonomy and network in Garibong-dong increased. When examining the factors of regional regeneration capacity for each region, in terms of local identity, landscape characteristics in all three regions had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of residents. In the case of local communities, it was found that the satisfaction with life of residents increased when individual competence in Changsin/Sungin-dong and participation capacity and relationship competence in Garibong-dong increased. In terms of local assets, natural and social assets in all three regions had a significant effect on the life satisfaction of residents. Therefore, it is judged that the relationship between the influence of residents' life satisfaction in the general type of neighborhood regeneration project for neighborhood regeneration will be a meaningful data in promoting the urban regeneration project.
