This study was conducted to investigate the relation between working conditions and occupational injuries among Korean employees. This study was based on the 4th Korean Working Conditions Survey(KWCS) and a total of 36,292 data were analyzed. Multivariate logistic regression was used to investigate the relation of working conditions and occupational injuries after controlling for individual variables. After control of personal factors, perception of the threat to health or safety(OR=3.77, 95% CI=2.934-4.844), 49-59 working hours(OR=1.63, 95% CI=1.023-2.601), 60 hours or more per week(OR=2.66, 95% CI=1.683-4.197), and manual occupation type(OR=1.76, 95% CI=1.218-2.536) were associated with occupational injuries. Our results indicate that working conditions influence occupational injuries, and the focus should be on prevention and management strategies for occupational injuries to vulnerable workers.

interrelationship among the characters of the top and the root within a plant was investigated by deviding the roots of the plant into two parts and growing each one in two different environmental conditions, The roots grown on the poor environmental conditions such as over flooding moisture and overdried were less in numbers of root. shorter in root length. and lighter in root weight than those of good growing conditions, It was demonstrated that the roots grown under the poor environmental conditions affected not only the growing of the associated tillers but also the growing of all the tillers within a plant. In comparision with untreated plants. the culm length of treated plants was shortened. and the heading time of them was delayed. The most remarkable yield reduction was appeared at the over flooding moisture treatment. and the next was at the overdried treatment. The ten dency of yield reduction was more severe in sandy soil than that of clay loam.

고령 근로자의 작업환경 실태와 건강검진 자료를 분석하여 그들의 건강한 생활과 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 정책의 기초자료를 마련하고자 시도되었다. 대상자는 부산, 경남지역에 소재하는 41개 사업장에서 유해인자에 노출되어 작업하는 공정에 있는 50세 이상 근로자 112명(남성 91명, 여성 21명)을 대상으로 소음, 분진, 유기용제, 중금속, 작업형태 및 작업강도 등을 측정, 분석하였으며, 건강검진 자료는 일반건강진단표를 이용하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 대상자의 평균연령은 54.9(남성 55세, 여성 54.7세) 세였으며, 평균근무기간은 8.7년이 였으며, 조사대상 사업장중 71.5%가 50인 이하의 근로자를 고용하고 있는 사업장이 였다. 2. 소음에 폭로 대상자 중 31.3%가 90dB(A)인 노출기준치을 초과하였으며, 그 외의 분진, 유기용제, 중금속 등의 노출기준치를 초과한 대상자는 없었다. 3. 조사대상자 중 9%는 청력이 비정상이였으며, 78.6%의 대상자는 경작업과 중등작업을 하였으며, 52.7%는 전신을 이용하여 작업하는 형태였다.

본 연구는 대구 경북지역에 근무하는 치과위생사 238명을 대상으로 병원유형에 따른 물질안전보건자료(MSDS)의 인식정도를 조사하였다. 연구결과 병원급과 의원급에 대한 의식이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 전체적으로도 MSDS인식정도가 높지 않았다. 치과근로자들의 근로환경 질의 향상을 위하여 소규모 치과의원에 대한 더욱 적극적인 홍보 및 교육이 필요하며, 구체적인 정책 및 제도가 마련되어야 할 것이라 사료되어 진다.

Today more and more workers choosing dual(side) jobs due to economic reasons and self-development. Although the importance of working environments and individual life qulity of workers, research on the health of dual job worker is insufficient. Therefore, this study examined three aspects of factors influencing the subjective health status of dual job workers. As a result, it was statistically verified that there is a significant difference in subjective health status according to the status of the main job, and that it is important to increase satisfaction with the main job. Also, it was found that it is important not to provide physically performing repetitive tasks for a long time, and not to provide emotionally discriminatory experiences.

Korea worker is well known for its long work and amongst employees and to change un-healthy lifestyle. This study aims to investigate the association between health behaviors and sleep problems in employees. It employed data from the Third Korean Working Conditions Survey (KWCS). The total number of individuals included in the analysis was 34,788 employees, from the 2011 survey. The outcome was sleep problems, which had a prevalence rate of 2.5% in men and 2.3% in women. An adjusted odds ratios were as follows: 2.26(1.75-2.91) for hypertension, 2.21(1.60-3.06) for obesity, 26.82(21.51-33.45) for depression and 2.02(1.64-2.49) for high level of job stress. We need to invest to identify relevant and various health service promotion for sleep problem that un-healthy workers want will use.

선원들은 '배'라는 한정된 생활공간에서 공동생활을 하면서 선원만의 특수한 생활형태를 형성하고 있다. 즉 선원근로자들은 선상작업을 통하여 통일적이고 협동적인 과업수행을 요구 받으며, 바다라는 고립적 환경에서 장기간 단조로운 집단생활로 인하여 상당한 스트레스에 노출되어 있을 것으로 예상된다. 또한 선내의 환경은 운항에 따른 높은 수준의 소음과 선체의 동요, 한랭과 폭염, 습도 등에 노출되어 있으며, 장시간 격리된 채 바다에서 생활함으로써 가족, 친구 등과의 교류의 기회가 제약됨으로써 이러한 요인들 또한 스트레스로 작용할 가능성이 높은 직업군이다. 본 연구에서는 선상환경에서 선원들의 스트레스 요인과 그 대처방안을 모색하고자 그 기초조사로써 예부선 선원근로자의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도 조사를 실시하였다.
