A Photogrammetric Network and Object Field Design for Efficient Self-Calibration of Non-metric Digital Cameras (비측정용 디지털 카메라의 효율적인 자체 검정을 위한 대상지 구성)

  • Recent increase in the number of pixels of a non-metric digital camera encourages to use it for close-range photogrammetry such as modeling cultural asset and buildings. However, these cameras have to be calibrated far close-range photogrammetry application. For self-calibration, an appropriate pbotograrnmetric network and object field should be designed. In this paper, we studied the effect on self-calibration accuracy changes according to the change of the number of ground control points, dimensions of the ground control points, and the combination of images. We concluded that self-calibration with three photos including a vertical photo can give the stable accuracy of interior orientation parameters and 10 ground control points on a plane can give high accuracy for object reconstruction.

Design of Ka-band Feed Horn and Cassegrain Antenna (Ka-band 대역의 급전 혼과 카셋그레인 안테나 개발)

  • In this paper, we propose a Cassegrain antenna with a scalar feed horn opt rating in Ka-band. For an effective EM simulation of the Cassegrain antenna, the near-field of the feed hone is used ai the equivalent source of the Cassegrain antenna using the surface equivalent theorem. A corrugated circular horn operating with $HE_{11}$ mode is used as the feed horn. The angle and feed center of the main and sub reflectors are optimized to achieve maximum antenna efficiency. The designed feed horn shows the gain of 19dBi, the side-lobe level of less than -25dB and the half power beam width of $20^{\circ}$ at 33 GHz. The Cassegrain antenna shows the gain of 41dBi, the efficiency of 60%, the side-lobe level of less than -20dB and the half power beam width of $1.2^{\circ}$.

  • There are many researches on human effect by electromagnetic equipments and applications. However, most of research and guidelines for limiting human exposure to electromagnetic fields are established by mobile communication of SAR(Specific Absorption Ratio). Therefore we need to study different effects on human body when exposed to high frequency(HF) band equipments, such as human induced current etc. In this paper, we measured human induced current by RFID reader antenna of HF band in the near field and we propose human equivalent antenna which has orthogonal loops to each other. Then, we compared the induced currents on proposed equivalent antenna with human.

  • In order to control tunnel blast vibration for adjacent facilities using electronic detonator, Understanding about the characteristics of near-field ground vibration is necessary. The purpose of this paper is to analyze effects of Cut-area and Extension-area vibration in relation to decision of tunnel blast vibration. These data were obtained at the top monitoring positions while ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ tunnel site of "Wonju~Gangneung double railroad section ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ construction" was passing under the existing road. Thus, tunnel blasting was conducted by tunnel electronic blasting system with 0.01% high delay-time accuracy. It can be possible that not only keeping maximum charge per delay-time but also preventing amplification of vibration which is occurred by delay-time scatter using common detonators. Additionally, V-Cut was changed into Burn-Cut. The results was presented that vibration level of extension-holes were higher than Cut-holes. Therefore, near-field ground vibration can be effectively minimized using electronic detonators in the Cut area. And also more effective way to reduce tunnel blast vibration is full-face blast using electronic detonators.

  • In this paper, design of a UWB MIMO antenna for an on-body application is proposed and antenna performance with body effect and the impact on the human body are investigated. The proposed MIMO antenna is composed of UWB antenna above ground plane and an additional plunger shaped isolator located between the two monopole antennas to enhance the isolation characteristic. The simulation and measurement are performed to analyze the effect of the human body on antenna performance when the human body is located in the near field of the antenna. According to the measurement results, the measured SAR values for antennas 1 and 2 are 0.132 W/kg and 0.08 W/kg, respectively when 0.5 mW input power is delivered. These values satisfy the FCC guideline which ragulates that the 1-g average SAR should be lower than 1.6 W/kg.

  • In this paper, We describe antenna characteristics for efficiently detecting human signs using small, planar and low power antenna. Then we can measure biological signals including respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, and blood sugar, using UWB (Ultra Wide Band) pulses, while does not contact the human body. The antenna need stable and wideband impedance characteristic, because it use gaussian pulse signal. Usually it has trade-off between wideband impedance and gain. But we don't considered array type antennas because we want to need small size. Generally the antennas that classified as frequency independent satisfy our requirements. Frequency independent antennas include spiral, log-periodic, sinuous, and etc. These antennas are possible to have shape planar type. In this paper, We tested these kind antenna's characteristics in center frequency 5 GHz, Especially circular patch and sinuous antenna designed and analyzed.

  • 사회활동이 활발하게 됨에 따라 사무실에서의 효율적인 업무수행을 위한 여러 가지 요구사항이 대두되고 있다. 그 일환으로 최근 기업내 회의소집 및 회의시간을 단축하고, 이동에 필요한 여행경비를 절감하기 위하여 원격 화상회의(Video Conference)나 음성회의(Voice Conference) 시스템이 주목을 받게 되었고, 이를 구축하여 활용하는 기업도 증가하고 있다. 원격회의 시스템에서는 다수인이 서로 다른 장소에서 동시에 참가하기 때문에 참가자 전원이 동일장소에 있는 것 같은 현장감을 느끼게 해주어야만 정확한 의사전달이 이루어질 수 있을 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 터미널 상호간에 입체영상정보와 입체 음향정보가 중요한 역할을 한다. 본고에서는 음향의 현장감 통신을 위하여 연구되고 있는 음상제어 방식, Stereo재생 방식, 3차원 음장재생 방식에 관한 특징을 기술하고, 그 장,단점을 비교 고찰한다. 또한 그 구성이 간단하고 다수인이 회의에 참석하기 위한 근거리 음장 재생 방식에 관한 예비실험에 관하여 보고한다.

Reliability Assessment of Long-Period Cable-Stayed Bridges on Near Fault Earthquake(NFE) (근거리지진에서 장주기사장교의 신뢰성평가)

  • The seismic safety of long-period cable-stayed bridges is assessed by probabilistic finite element analysis and reliability analysis under NFE. The structural response of critical members of cable-stayed bridges is evaluated using the developed probabilistic analysis algorithm. In this study, the real earthquake recording(Chi-Chi Earthquake; 1997) was selected as the input NFE earthquake for investigating response characteristics. The probabilistic response and reliability index shows the different aspect comparing the result from FFE earthquake. Therefore, the probabilistic seismic safety assessment on NFE earthquakes should be performed for the exact evaluation of long-period cable-stayed bridges and the earthquake resistant design criteria should be complemented.

Near electromagnetic field analysis of HTS microstrip patch antenna (고온초전도 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나의 근거리 전자장 해석)

  • In this paper, the high-$T_c$ , superconductor (HTS) microstrip patch antenna which is directly coupled to a microstrip transmission line is designed and the numerical solution which evaluate near electromagnetic field of HTS antenna is presented. This solution uses the interpolation function with the vector edge triangular element. The advantage of this element is the elimination of spurious solutions attributed to the lack of enforcement of the divergence condition. The results of this method have a good agreement with $TM_10$ mode in HTS microstrip patch antenna and show that the computation of resonant length considering the fringing capacitance effect at radiating edge are proper.

  • NFC(Near Field Communication)는 13.56Mhz를 사용하는 근거리 무선통신으로 PC, 휴대폰 등의 전자 기기간 양방향 데이터를 송수신할 수 있는 기술이다 [1]. 안드로이드를 중심으로 채택되기 시작한 NFC 기술은 스마트폰과의 연결을 통하여 새로운 다양한 비즈니스 모델을 만들어 내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 NFC기술을 대형 마트 도메인에 적용하여 마트를 방문하는 고객이 편리하고 빠르게 장을 볼 수 있도록 도와주는 애플리케이션 개발내용에 대해 기술한다. 본 애플리케이션을 이용하여 고객은 장보기 전에 구입할 상품을 장바구니에 미리 등록할 수 있으며 예산금액을 설정할 수 있다. 고객이 마트를 방문 시 출입구에 부착되어있는 NFC 태그를 인식하여 장바구니에 등록한 상품에 관한 맞춤형 정보를 얻을 수 있고 마트 진열대의 상품에 장착된 NFC 태그를 스마트 폰으로 인식하여 장바구니에 등록된 상품과 체크하며 장보기를 실시한다. 장보기 완료 후에는 포스기에서 NFC 태그를 인식하고 결제방법을 선택하고 결제를 한다. 결제 후 상품은 포장단계에 적용되고 포장이 완료된 후 배송하게 된다. 대형마트에서는 본 시스템을 갖춤으로써 고객들이 좀 더 편리하게 쇼핑할 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있다.
