A Channel Assignment by Graph Coloring Problem in Cellular Mobile Communication Control System (셀룰라 이동통신 제어 시스템에서 색채화 문제에 의한 채널할당)

  • In a cellular mobile communication control system, assignment channel for a call in a cell so as to achieve high spectral efficience is an important problem within limited frequence bandwidth. The spectral efficiency is related to the coloring problem of graph theory in a cellular mobile communication control system. In this paper, we propose channel offset scheme using a graph theory of cellular mobile communication control system and formulate chromatic bandwidth of channel offset system which is related graph coloring problem. From formulated channel assignment problem, we investgate an optimal channel offset scheme of more efficent frequence spectrum and cell design according to channel constitution and give and upper and lower bound for overall srectral bandwidth.

  • In this paper, we proposed a Dynamic Channel Assignment (DCA) scheme called Graph Coloring based DCA (GC-DCA) to improve system performance for downlink femtocell networks with high density femto Access Point (AP) deployments. The proposed scheme consists of two steps: one is a femto AP grouping step considering interference and the other is a DCA step considering Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) for femto User Equipments (UEs). Simulation results show that the proposed GC-DCA outperforms other schemes in terms of the mean femto UE capacity and probability of femto UEs which have capacities less than a given transmit rate.

  • As various smart devices spread and the damage caused by malicious codes becomes more serious, malicious code detection technology using machine learning technology is attracting attention. However, if the training data of machine learning is constructed based on only the fragmentary characteristics of the code, it is still easy to create variants and new malicious codes that avoid it. To solve such a problem, a research using the function call relationship of malicious code as training data is attracting attention. In particular, it is expected that more advanced malware detection will be possible by measuring the similarity of graphs using GNN. This paper proposes an efficient method to generate a function call graph from binary code to utilize GNN for malware detection.

Automatic Creation of SHACL Schemas for Validation of RDF Knowledge Graph Structures Based on RML Mappings

  • In this paper, we propose a system which automatically generates SHACL schemas to describe and validate RDF knowledge graphs constructed by RML mappings. Unlike existing studies, the proposed system generates the schemas based on not only RML mapping rules but also metadata extracted from RML mapping input data in various formats such as CSV, JSON, XML or databases. Therefore, our schemas include the constraints on data type, string length, value range and cardinality, which were not present in the existing schemas. And we solves the problem with "repeated properties" which overlooked in existing studies. Through a conformance test consisting of 297 cases, we show that the proposed system generates correct constraints for the graphs. The proposed system can contribute to automation of the tedious and error-prone existing manual validation processes.

  • 인공신경망 기반 기계번역(Neural Machine Translation, NMT)이란 딥러닝(Deep learning)을 이용하여 출발 언어의 문장을 도착 언어 문장으로 번역해주는 시스템을 일컫는다. NMT는 종단간 학습(end-to-end learning)을 이용하여 기존 기계번역 방법론의 성능을 앞지르며 기계번역의 주요 방법론으로 자리잡게 됐다. 이러한 발전에도 불구하고 여전히 개체(entity), 또는 전문 용어(terminological expressions)의 번역은 미해결 과제로 남아있다. 개체나 전문 용어는 대부분 명사로 구성되는데 문장 내 명사는 주체, 객체 등의 역할을 하는 중요한 요소이므로 이들의 정확한 번역이 문장 전체의 번역 성능 향상으로 이어질 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지식그래프(Knowledge Graph)를 이용하여 심볼릭 지식을 NMT와 결합한 뉴럴심볼릭 방법론을 제안한다. 또한 지식그래프를 활용하여 NMT의 성능을 높인 선행 연구 방법론을 한영 기계번역에 이용할 수 있도록 구조를 설계한다.

  • 본 논문은 대규모 텍스트 데이터에서 이슈를 발굴할 때 사용되는 기존의 정보 네트워크 또는 지식 그래프 구축 방법의 한계점을 지적하고, 문장 단위로 정보 네트워크를 구축하는 새로운 방법에 대해서 제안한다. 먼저 문장을 구성하는 단어와 캐릭터수의 분포를 측정하며 의성어와 같은 노이즈를 제거하기 위한 역치값을 설정하였다. 다음으로 BERT 기반 언어모델을 이용하여 모든 문장을 벡터화하고, 코사인 유사도를 이용하여 두 문장벡터에 대한 유사성을 측정하였다. 오분류된 유사도 결과를 최소화하기 위하여 명사형 단어의 의미적 연관성을 비교하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 제안된 유사문장 비교 알고리즘의 결과를 검토해 보면, 두 문장은 서술되는 형태가 다르지만 동일한 주제와 내용을 다루고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 단어 단위 지식 그래프 해석의 어려움을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 방법이다. 향후 이슈 및 트랜드 분석과 같은 미래연구 분야에 적용하면, 데이터 기반으로 특정 주제에 대한 사회적 관심을 수렴하고, 수요를 반영한 정책적 제언을 도출하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다

Wine Label Character Recognition in Mobile Phone Images using a Lexicon-Driven Post-Processing (사전기반 후처리를 이용한 모바일 폰 영상에서 와인 라벨 문자 인식)

  • In this paper, we propose a method for the postprocessing of cursive script recognition in Wine Label Images. The proposed method mainly consists of three steps: combination matrix generation, character combination filtering, string matching. Firstly, the combination matrix generation step detects all possible combinations from a recognition result for each of the pieces. Secondly, the unnecessary information in the combination matrix is removed by comparing with bigram of word in the lexicon. Finally, string matching step decides the identity of result as a best matched word in the lexicon based on the levenshtein distance. An experimental result shows that the recognition accuracy is 85.8%.

  • In GRID environments, an efficient load balancing algorithm should be adopted since the system performances of GRID system are not homogeneous. In this work, a new two-step mesh-partitioning scheme based on the graph-partitioning scheme was introduced to consider the difference of system performance. In the two-step mesh-partitioning scheme, the system performance weights were calculated to reflect the effect of heterogeneous system performances and WEVM(Weighted Edge and vertex Method) was adopted to minimize the increase' of communications. Numerical experiments were carried out in multi-cluster environment and WAN (Wide Area Network) environment to investigate the effectiveness of the two-step mesh-partitioning scheme.

  • In this paper, we propose Improved Self-Organized Graph(Improved SOG:$SOG^*$)thinning method, which maintains the excellent thinning results of Self-organized graph(SOG) built from Self-Organizing features map and improves the performance of modified SOG using a new incremental learning method of Kohonen features map. In the experiments, this method shows the thinning results equal to those of SOG and the time complexity O((logM)3) superior to it. Therefore, the proposed method is useful for the feature extraction from digits and characters in the preprocessing step.

  • In this paper, a simultaneous buffer insertion and routing method is proposed under the constraints of wire and buffer locations by macro or IP blocks. A new grid graph is proposed to describe the regions in which buffers(or both wires and buffers) are not available. Under this grid we describe a method of constructing a buffeted tree that minimize the maximum source to sink delay. The method is based on the dynamic programming with pruning unnecessary partial solutions. The proposed method improved the slack time of the delay by 19% on the average while using less buffers and similar wire length.
