There has been a great interest in printing technology as a low cost and mass production method for the application of printed electronics such as printed TFT, solar cell, RFID Tag, printed battery, and so on. In this study, apparatuses of gravure-offset printing are developed for fine line-width/gap printing and examining pattern distortion occurred in gravure-offset printing process. The fine line-width/gap pattern shows that it is possible to make around 20 micro-meter line-width/gap printing patterns. Pattern distortion is modeled, and the amount and shape of the distortion are calculated by using commercial FEM code. The roll-to-roll printing system under development consists of unwinder/rewinder, two printing units, one coating unit, drying units, guiding unit, vision system, and other auxiliary devices. For multi-layer printing, the system is designed to be capable of printing two different materials.

The charater of standing box printing reguires a rich representation in a light and a shade of color and caues the modern photographs to be abundant of the ink and also shows the continuity of which any other printing is incapable because of its profound gradation. The clear printing in gravure can be said to be due to the good transfer of the ink - the completion of the transference of the ink into the stencil paper and the clear transference of the printing tone. The most inportant matter is the distance between the printing press and the doctor line. It is the matter of the structure and arrangement because of giving the most affect on the dryness of the ink in the cell. The glue of the ink in gravure changes by the kinds of the dye and the cellusolve used. To make the printing somoothly progressive from the high glue of the ink to the low glue of the ink will have to be used, which will be possible to choose the ester.ose the ester.

Printed electronics is a technology used for forming electronic circuits or devices, and it is used in the manufacture of many products such as RFID tags, solar cells, and flexible display panels with a much lower cost than in the case of semiconductor process technology. Web-guide-type printing such as roll-to-roll printing is a method used to produce printed electronic devices in a large volume. To commercialize such products, highly precise alignment between printed layers is required. In this study, a highly precise alignment system is proposed, and some experimental results are compared with those obtained using a laser surface vibrometer to illustrate the reliability of the proposed system. The robustness of the proposed system to web deformation is also considered experimentally.
