A Hybrid Mobile Business Card Production and Management System (하이브리드 모바일 명함제작 및 관리시스템)

  • Recently, as the increase in interaction between the person and the person, the people plentifully use the business card to exchange personal information. So, the people have many business cards. Thus, the people are liable to lose the business cards and finding a wanted business card is very difficult in the huge business cards in offline. And, the people think the business card is a way, which can express individuality. So, the people want to have the business card, which has individuality. Thus, this paper proposes the card system, which is satisfied to solve many problems of the card system in offline and express individuality. The proposed business card system can produce various business cards and puts contents such as video, photo, voice into business cards via mobile devices in anywhere, anytime. Also, this business card system follows the vCard format, which is a file format standard for personal data interchange. Finally, we provide with content-based business card retrieval using video and photo inserted into business cards. Thus, this paper proposes the hybrid business card system, which is satisfied to produce business cards expressed individuality and follows the vCard format.

  • In this paper, we investigated performance for 5.8GHz dedicated short range communication system using OFDM which will be applied to Intelligent transportation system services. The maximum speed of a vehicle in DSRC channel is very fast as 180km/h, so a service time is very short to serve a various traffic information if hand-off is not occurred. Therefore higher bit rate is required to proved advanced and intelligent service to the drivers of various vehicle and the data transmission rate of the next generation DSRC system if being promoted over 10Mbps. The signals received in Clarke & Gans channel have been simulated using the computer simulator.

  • Recently, domestic interest about wireless internet is rising gradually. Characteristic of present domestic wireless market is that mobile communication businessmans appropriate each other different mobile platform. So, contents provider's development environment can not be same each other. This makes contents providers repeat same work. To solve this problem, standardization work of wireless internet market was begun. The three mobile communication companies and TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association), RRU(Radio Research Laboratory), ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) progressed standardization. By the result, May 2002, WIPI that is wireless standard platform selected by mobile platform standard that is TTA organization standard. In this paper, 1 am going to examine the WIPI. WIPI can reduce mostly expense that happen when we use different platform. 1 design and embody common phrase function. Through this, 1 am going to show improvement of the character input speed in cellular phone. And I wish to discuss expected cost decrease effect. Investigate about platform of treatise that is used in domestic. analyze about the characteristic, merits and demerits. Chatting service and common phrase function design and embody. Finally, wish to discuss about advantage of common phrase function and practical use field.

A Study on the Development of Thesaurus Using Terminological Definitions (용어 정의를 도입한 시소러스 개발 연구)

  • As contemporary thesauri have become large and complex, it is increasingly difficult to assess the intended meaning of each one of the terms. Thereby the meaning of many descriptors seems to be very similar, and it is often not possible to distinguish among them and to identify the term correctly. Purpose of this article is to induce definitions of descriptors in thesaurus by specifying the characteristics of each concept, locating it in the domain and providing clear and prescriptive information on the meaning of each descriptor in the form of a standardized terminological definition. In this study, a small prototype thesaurus using definition of term in the field of information industry in Korean Standards has been developed. In this thesaurus definitions are written for each descriptor with the help of a proposed defining model and in accordance with defining rules borrowed from the field of terminology. In addition, elements of analyzed definition have been included in the relation structure of descriptors. It is revealed that terminological definition added to thesaurus may permit extraction of separate items of information from definitions for the representation of knowledge structures and makes it easier to confine the scope of descriptors to be included in thesaurus in a given subject field.

Biological Constituents of Aged Garlic Extract as Biomarker (숙성마늘 extract 의 biomarker로서 생리활성 성분)

  • Garlic (Allium sativum) are an agronomically important genus because of their sulfur flavour components. The majority of the volatiles flavour principles are generated through the enzymatic hydrolysis of the non-volatile organosulfur compounds. However, these compounds may be possible sources of new novel bioacuve and therapeutic principles. Garlic has strong antioxidant activity, and epidemiological studies support the fad that diets rich of garlic may prevent some of the chronic diseases. The health cares of garlic likely arise from a wide variety of components, which may work synergistically. The chemical changes of garlic composition makes it plausible that a variation in processing can lead to acquisition of differential chemical compositions of garlic products. Especially highly unstable allicin can easily disappear during processing and are quickly transformed into a various organosulfur compounds. Various supplements of garlic, particularly aged garlic extract (AGE), are known to possess a promising antioxidant potential and are effective in prevention of chronic diseases because of the bioactive constituents. Although all of active ingredients of AGE are not elucidated, water-soluble components of AGE, including S-allylcysteine, S-allylmercaptane, steroid saponins, tetrahydro-${\beta}$-carboline derivatives, and fructosyl-arginine, appears to be associated with the pharmacological effects of AGE. Consequently, the allicin free garlic components such as S-allylcysteine, S-allylmercaptane, steroid saponins, tetrahydro-${\beta}$-carboline derivatives, and fructosyl-arginine can be applicable to standardization of the quality of commercial garlic products. This review provides an insight into garlic's biomarkers and presents evidence that they may either prevent or delay chronic disease associated with aging.

Changes of Physicochemical Characteristics and Development of New Quality Indices for Industry-produced Koji Kochujang (공장산 고오지 고추장의 이화학적 특성변화 및 품질지표 개발)

  • 43 Kinds of physicochemical characteristics of koji kochujang prepared by a standardized industrial process were determined and analyzed statistically during storage for 105 days at $37^{\circ}C$. The characteristics which showed significant correlation with storage period after preparation of kochujang were 12 items, which included sensory preference for flavor and taste, Hunter tristimulus values($L,\;a,\;b,\;{\{\delta}E$), HMF, capsanthin, formol nitrogen, threonine, water and water activity. Seven of the items were related with color attributes of kochujang. Especially, tristimulus values showed significant correlation with sensory preference for color of kochujang. In this regard, tristimulus values should be recommended as new quality indices of national standard for industry-produced koji kochujang. Means and standard deviations of tristimulus values of 27 kinds of industry-produced koji kochujang in the market were $28.21{\pm}1.48,\;a=9.37{\pm}2.54,\;b=4.35{\pm}2.19\;and\;{\delta}E=30.09{\pm}2.42.$.

Secure Bootstrapping Methods of a Mobile Node on the Mobile IPv6 Network (IPv6기반 이동인터넷 환경에서 이동노드의 안전한 시동에 관한 방법)

  • At IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force), recently RFC3775, RFC3776 documents about the mobile IPv6 were standardized by IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). Those specifications propose that during the roaming, the mobile node sends securely the binding update to the home agent and the correspondent node after setting the security association between Mobile Node and Home Agent. But there is no secure bootstrapping method between a mobile node and a home agent at the two RFC documents. This paper proposed a method for the secure bootstrapping between a mobile node and a home agent. This makes the authentication, binding update, home agent assignment, security association distribution through the AAA-based secure channel between mobile node and home agent. And the proposed method was analyzed in the view of the procedure, round trip and security strength.

  • As the user's demand for ultra high-speed wireless internet has increased, the standardization, research and development of future mobile communication systems have been done for several years. IMT-Advanced system which is called fourth generation mobile communication should support the data rate of 1 Gbps for nomadic users and 100 Mbps for mobile users. Also, the system should hold call connection at the mobile speed of 350 km/h. Meanwhile, since Doppler spread is linearly proportional to mobile speed, high mobility leads to the increase of interference between subcarriers and the deterioration of detection performance consequently. In this paper, we evaluate and analyze detection probability with respect to equalization methods in time-varying channels under system parameters complying with IMT-Advanced requirements. According to computer simulation conducted by varying mobile speed and code rate, MMSE based equalization can mitigate performance degradation of IMT-Advanced system considerably in time-varying channels.

  • In this paper, we propose a transmission algorithm of the TLI protocol of the IEC 61162-4 standard to perform the e-Navigation on ship, and we design and implement the TLI protocol according to the proposed algorithm. The implemented protocol is a TCP/IP based protocol, and is a network protocol with the MAU and LNA components proposed in the IEC 61162-4 standard. In addition, it makes a data transmission over the network architecture based on client/server network model. In the implemented protocol, there are a communication between the MAU and the LNA in one host, and also a communication between the LNA and the LNA in each other hosts. In order to provide a variety of service in a host, every client host has a LNA and multiple MAUs. According to the standard specification and the proposed transmission algorithm, we designed and implemented the TLI protocol using object-oriented mechanism. We carried out the experiment under a simple network model similar to real ship environment, and confirmed that it successfully transmits and receives data between the hosts.

  • As information technology of constructional area develops recently, web-based on-line system is rapidly increasing to provide information on diverse constructional materials so as to enhance productivity of constructional business and to reduce cost. Since the constructional materials information provided by these systems, i.e., quality, specification, etc are not standardized, however, the staffs on the constructional site suffer considerable difficulties in using materials information when acquiring information on specific materials, e.g., using diverse information systems or repeating similar jobs. Thus, this research typified information items of constructional materials on the basis of GDAS and designed multi system model to control integrated information on constructional materials. This system can efficiently control and utilize materials information by supporting automatic classification of constructional materials to which OmniClass Part-22 and UNSPSC are applied, conditional complex retrieval of materials information, real-time automatic embodiment of electronic catalog and retrieving/controlling RFID.
