The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of sex and age and their interactions in premotor-time (PMT) of ankle muscle. Forty-eight elderly subjects (aged 65-90 years) and thirty young subjects (aged 19-27 years) participated in this study. Subject were instructed to perform maximal, voluntary, isometric, bilateral contraction of ankle muscle in reaction to auditory stimulus to determine PMT. As analysis variables, PMT, intrasubject variability of PMT and asymmetry of PMT between dominant and nondominant legs were used. As statistical analysis, two-way ANOVA was performed to assess the main effects of age group and sex and also their interactions. All variables showed significant age effects (p<0.01). However, no sex effect and interaction existed in all variables in both dominant and nondomiant legs. Theses results suggest that the PMT of ankle muscle is related to the age-related deterioration in postural control, however, not related to the sex-difference of fall incidence in the elderly population.

The purpose of this study is to compare finger tapping (FT) movement of patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) with normal subjects. A gyrosensor system was used for the measurement of FT movement, because it provides angular velocity free from the gravitational artifact and it can be used during clinical FT test listed in unified PD rating scale (UPDRS). Forty PD patients (age: 65.7 ${\pm}$ 11.1 yrs, H&Y stage:2.3 ${\pm}$ 0.5), 14 age-matched elderly subjects (65${\pm}$3.9 yrs) and 17 healthy young subjects (24${\pm}$2.1yrs) participated in this study. Angular velocity of finger tapping movement was measured in both right and left index finger. As quantitative measures, root-mean-squared (RMS) angular velocity, RMS angle, peak power and total power were used. ANOVA showed that all measures were significantly different among three groups (p<0.001) in all quantitative measures. Post-hoc test revealed that all quantitative measures except peak power in patients with PD were significantly smaller than in both healthy elderly and young subjects (p<0.01). This suggests that the measures developed in this study can distinguish patients with PD from normal subjects.

The aim of this study was to inquire into the perceptions and the needs of parents on their forest experience activity. To achieve this, a survey was carried out on 250 parents of children in a Gyeonggi-based private kindergarten from December 26 to December 31, 2013. The results are as follows. For the perceptions of parents on the forest experience activity, the 'perception on overall effectiveness' was the highest, followed in order by 'perception on educational effectiveness' and 'general perception'. For the needs of parents on their forest experience activity, 58.2% of them recognized the importance of regular forest experience activity. For the necessity of an annual program, 60.7% of them recognized the necessity of a planned annual program. For the recommendation of forest experience activity, 61.1% of them gave a strong recommendation for forest experience activity. As stated above, most parents positively viewed children's forest experience activity in the environment as it is difficult to approach nature in downtown areas, and children also highly viewed the educational effectiveness of it.

Web crawlers are fundamental programs which iteratively download web pages by following links of web pages starting from a small set of initial URLs. Previously several web crawling orderings have been proposed to crawl popular web pages in preference to other pages, but some graph search techniques whose characteristics and efficient implementations had been studied in graph theory community have not been applied yet for web crawling orderings. In this paper we consider various graph search techniques including lexicographic breadth-first search, lexicographic depth-first search and maximum cardinality search as well as well-known breadth-first search and depth-first search, and then choose effective web crawling orderings which have linear time complexity and crawl popular pages early. Especially, for maximum cardinality search and lexicographic breadth-first search whose implementations are non-trivial, we propose linear-time web crawling orderings by applying the partition refinement method. Experimental results show that maximum cardinality search has desirable properties in both time complexity and the quality of crawled pages.

In this paper, in Incheon, vocational education and training satisfaction of vocational training institutions and on the factors affecting the career maturity were investigated. Mercy Vocational trainees receive training in vocational education and training to improve skills in the process it was found that commitment. In addition, "friends, family, acquaintances," with the encouragement of vocational education and training has been to collect. Prefer long-term training and career maturity and high educated singles with lower career maturity were higher. Regression analysis of satisfaction in the vocational education and training information, influence on career maturity. Therefore, the authorities concerned in the vocational education and training program faithfully find ways to operate should be.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of direction (pitch and roll) on the perception of support surface rotation while standing. Thirty young healthy subjects participated in this study. Support surface was rotated at an unexpected instant in a very slow speed (0.2 deg/s). The direction of support surface rotation was randomly chosen among pitch (forward and backward) and roll (right and left) directions. The experiment was performed with eyes open and closed. Perception performance was evaluated by the perception threshold, defined as the rotation angle of the surface at the instant when a subject recognized that the support surface was moving. Results showed that the perception threshold was smaller for roll directions than pitch directions irrespective of vision and gender (p < 0.01). This indicates that the perception of support surface rotation is more sensitive in roll direction than in pitch direction. Among three sensory functions related to postural perception, the effect of vestibular and visual functions on the direction difference of the perception should be little because of the very slow surface rotation and independence on visual conditions. Therefore, the direction dependence of perception would have been affected mainly by the somatosensory function.

This study analyzed the smoking and smoking cessation characteristics, smoking cessation self-efficacy and counseling satisfaction of 140 college students using smoking cessation clinics in 2 universities, located in D Metropolitan City and C Province. The results can be summarized as follow; As motives for signing up for a smoking cessation clinic, 47.8% responded that they were recommended by others. 61.4% said that they had tried to stop smoking for the past one year. As the first reason for stopping smoking, 45.7% responded that it was to prevent diseases in the future. As factors affecting the smoking cessation self-efficacy, the smoking temptation score was the most significant variable, followed by the smoking cessation confidence score and the smoking amount. As a factor affecting the smoking cessation counseling satisfaction, whether to perceive health problems was the most significant variable, followed by the smoking cessation confidence score and the smoking temptation score.

This study analyzed the recreational scuba diving regulations in Korea and other foreign countries and it proposes five changes to improve the Act On The Safety, Promotion, Etc. Of Underwater Leisure Activities in Korea. First, "recreational underwater activity participant" should be modified to refer to 'an individual or group of individuals entering into a contract with a recreational underwater activity businessperson for their own use'. Second, the person setting up the recreational underwater activity zone should be expanded to 'recreational underwater activity businessperson and/or recreational underwater activity participant'. Third, since recreational technical diving uses nitrox or mixed gas, a clause should be added that a sticker or band clearly indicating the type of gas should be attached. Fourth, a Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) should be added to the diving equipment, and the daily management and maintenance of cylinders should be specified in detail. Fifth, it is necessary to specify in the Act that recreational underwater activity participants are encouraged to purchase diving insurance for their own use. In addition, for the safety of underwater activity participants, the Act must specifically state the emergency procedures and diving guidelines of a recreational underwater activity businessperson.

Purpose : This study was investigated the effect of lower extremity muscle activity during open kinetic chain exercise (OKC) and closed kinetic exercise (CKC) in normal young adults. Methods : The participants were consisted of forty-one. All subjects were randomly assigned to two groups of open kinetic chain exercise group (n=21) and closed kinetic chain exercise group(n=20). It was perform 3 sets, 3 times per week for 6 weeks both open kinetic chain exercise group and closed kinetic chain exercise group. Subjects were assessed for each subject took pre-test, post-test in 2 weeks, post-test in 4 weeks, post-test in 6 weeks measurement the surface EMG data for vastus medialis and lateralis, lateral and medial hamstring, lateral and medial gastrocnemius, tibialis anterior. Results : The vastus medialis and lateralis muscle activity was significantly increased within the intervention period both group(p<.05). The lateral and medial part of hamstring muscle activity was significantly increased with in the intervention period(p<.05). The tibialis anterior muscle activity of open kinetic chain exercise group and closed kinetic chain exercise group was significantly increased in the intervention period(p<.05). The lateral and medial part of gastrocnemius muscle activity of open kinetic chain exercise group and closed kinetic chain exercise group was significantly increased with in the intervention period(p<.05). Conclusion : It was found that both open kinetic chain exercise and closed kinetic chain exercise was significantly increased muscle activity. Further studies are needed to analyzed long term effects and subjects resulting from these changed. these exercises can be selectively adapted not only as treatment exercise for patients but also as preventive exercise for normal person to improve balancing ability by conducting proper amount of exercise for each individual's condition and stage.
