The survey was carried out for the student sin colleges of SangJi University for analyzing the parameters affecting the selection of ones cultural studies and major subjects. The number of respondents was 204, and the responses were computer-processed utilizing Excel and statistical software SPSS. The attributes of main factors were composed of House of Quality(HOQ) that is basic matrix of Quality Function Development. From the survey analysis, selection criteria for ones cultural studies and major subjects are as follows. In selecting ones cultural studies, teaching methodology is the most important factor than assignment, the percentage of attendance and academic credit. And in case of major subjects, no other factors than the recommendation by seniors were significantly affected ones subject selection.

본 연구에서는 청소년의 일반적 비의도적 약물에 대한 인식과 태도를 확인하고자 하였다. 전라남도 22개 시군구 초중학교를 대상으로 무작위 추출 설문을 하였다. 약물남용예방 교육을 받은 경험 유무에 대한 결과는 438명 42.9%는 약물예방교육을 받은 경험이 있다고 하였으며, 582명 57.1%는 약물예방교육을 받은 경험이 없다고 응답하였다. 약물(술, 담배 포함)을 사용하여 기분이 좋아진다면 약간의 후유증은 무시해도 되는가에 대하여 86.2%가 그렇지 않다고 응답하였다. 술, 담배, 흡입제(본드, 가스) 등은 중독성이 없는지에 대하여 17.3%가 그렇다고 다소 높은 응답을 보였다. 담배는 피울수록 흡연량이 늘어나는가에 대한 질문은 사전 교육을 받은 그룹이 사전 교육을 받지 않은 그룹보다 '그렇다'고 높은 응답을 하였다. 만약 친구가 약물사용을 권유한다면 향후 어떻게 할 것인가에 대한 결과 88.9%가 정중히 거절할 것이라 응답하였다. 향후 약물 오남용 예방 교육이 있다면 참여하겠는가에 대한 결과 91.3% 가 '그렇다'고 응답하였다. 본 약물 오남용 예방교육은 효과적이였는가에 대한 결과 90.3%가 효과적이였다고 응답하였다. 따라서, 청소년의 특성을 이해하고, 올바른 건강 관련 행위 습득을 통해 성인기 건강의 기반을 형성할 수 있도록 꾸준히 노력해야 할 것이다.

The need of development of police officers' uniforms for the summer season has increased due to rises in temperature. This research developed a t-shirt typed of police officer's uniform for summer weather. We analyzed the design cases of national and international police officers' uniforms, similar types of uniforms, and t-shirts for summer weather. The satisfaction with current uniforms and preferences for these types of uniforms were surveyed with 1,062 police officers and public participants. Designs were developed and design opinions were surveyed with 1,011 public volunteers. A total of 584 police officers wore developed prototypes for two weeks, and surveys were conducted with 328 police officers to reflect the final design results. More than 80% of police officers have very satisfied or satisfied opinions of the developed designs. The study is expected to enhance police officers' satisfaction with the developed uniforms for summer weather.

As what exactly understands a meaning of mathematics terms, is a starting point of mathematical thinking, it plays a very important role in the mathematics learning. What understood mathematics terms which were defined here, includes not only the terms of comprising its definition, but also all of the understanding in context, situation, intention and purpose, which came to give its definition. Due to this reason, it needs to be examined how much students are correctly understanding about mathematics terms which appear in the texts, and to seek for its cause for the terms which are felt to be difficult. Accordingly, this study investigated into mathematics terms which are used for the field of geometry in the elementary school mathematics textbooks, and tried to analyze students' understanding level about each term.

Because of lack of accurate understanding of the mechanism of urban heat island (UHI) phenomenon and lack of scientific discussion, it is hard to come up with effective measures to mitigate UHI phenomenon. This study systematically described the UHI and suggested the solutions using green-infrastructure (green-infra). The factors that control UHI are very diverse: radiant heat flux, latent heat flux, storage heat flux, and artificial heat flux, and the air temperature is formed by the combination effect of radiation, conduction and convection. Green-infra strategies can improve thermal environment by reducing radiant heat flux (the albedo effect, the shade effect), increasing latent heat flux (the evapotranspiration effect), and creating a wind path (cooling air flow). As a result of measurement, green-infra could reduce radiant heat flux as $270W/m^2$ due to shadow effect and produce $170W/m^2$ latent heat flux due to evaporation. Finally, green-infra can be applied differently on the macro(urban) scale and micro scale, therefore, we should plan and design green-infra after the target objects of structures are set.

Past decade systemic mycoses caused by opportunistic human fungal pathogens, including Candida, Aspergillus, and Cryptococcus, have been a growing problem for both immunocompromised and immunocompetent individuals. Particularly, Cryptococcus neoformans has recently emerged as a major fungal pathogen, which can cause fungal pneumonia and meningitis that are lethal if not timely medicated. However, treatment for cryptococcosis has been difficult due to a lack of proper anti-cryptococcal drugs with fungicidal activity and less toxicity. In this review we introduced novel therapeutic methods for treating cryptococcosis by exploring pathogenomic signa1ing networks of C. neoformans with genome-wide transcriptome approaches as well as diverse molecular/genetic tools.

본 연구는 정보기술의 사용(Usage)과 수용(Adoption)을 예상하는 목적보다는 웹 기반 협동합습 시스템사용 의도와 사용행위에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 폭 넓게 이해하고, 실질적으로 활용 할 수 있는 변수를 찾는데 목적이 있기 때문에 분해된 계획 행동 이론(Decomposed TPB)을 기반 하였고, 분해된 변수들 중 일부분(지각된 유용성, 지각된 용이성, 명시적 영향, 암시적 영향)과 웹 환경의 중요 요소인 '흥미성' 을 포함하여 사용의도(Use Intention)에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 2개 대학의 대학생 256명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과 다차원으로 분해된 일부 변수들 중 태도적 믿음 변수인 '지각된 용이성'을 제외하고 분해된 모든 변수가 사용의도에 긍정적 강한 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었고, 특히 주관적 규범(명시적 영향, 암시적 영향)변수는 준거집단을 통해서 웹기반 협동학습 시스템에 대한 행동의도나 인지에 영향을 줄 수 있는 중요 변수로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 준거인이 되는 팀장은 팀원 및 학습자들과의 상호작용(협동학습을 통한 화상토론, 게시판정활동, 오프라인 정기 모임, 동영상 동시 시청)과 팀원 관리 및 운영하는 역할이기 때문에 새로운 정보 기술 및 시스템 사용 권유를 하거나, 직접 기술사용을 하는 주변 분위기는 협동합습에 참여한 학습자들에게 조금이나마 영향을 줄 수 있음을 추측 해 볼 수 있고 영향력 있는 중요변수임을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether uniform reforming behavior in high school girls is related to body image distortion, and to obtain objective data to help in guiding students in the wearing of uniforms at school. 661 freshmen and junior girls at six high schools in Kwangju city responded to questionnaires. The data was analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s product-moment correlations using the SPSS 12.0 program. According to their body satisfaction level, three groups (haggard distortion, normal, overweight distortion) were identified. The data showed that a few high school girls were unable to recognize their body types correctly. It also indicated that school uniform reforming behaviors in high school girls were not related to their body image or body satisfaction level. So, it seems that students need guidance in the building up of an objective body image and wearing uniforms to fit their body types.

The purpose of this study was to examine the psychological factors affecting cervical cancer screening intention focused on college women including graduate students. A total of 281 college women students were analyzed. The major results of this study indicate that positive attitude toward cervical cancer screening through social support(family and friend), doctor and nurse support were essential to improve cervical cancer screening intention of college women.

Taraxacum platycarpum H. Dahl. (Compositae) has been used as an anti-inflammatory or anti-cancer agent in the clinic. Although its antidepressant effect has been reported, however, its cognitive function is not investigated until yet. In the present study, we investigated whether the water extract of T. platycarpum (WETP) could improve cognitive function in cholinergic blockade-induced amnesia mouse model using the passive avoidance or Y-maze task. WETP (12.5, 25 or 50 mg/kg) significantly ameliorated the scopolamine-induced cognitive impairment both in the passive avoidance test and the Y-maze test. In addition, WETP significantly inhibited acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity measured by an ex vivo study using the mouse whole brain. These results suggest that WETP alleviates the cognitive dysfunction caused by the cholinergic blockade, in part, via AChE inhibition, and that it may be a useful for treating cognitive dysfunction.
