The Consumption Value of Goods Effect on Purchase Intention of Corporate Brand Products: Study According to The Type of Goods (굿즈의 소비가치가 기업브랜드 제품 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 굿즈의 종류에 따른 연구)

  • In this study, in order to analyze the effect of the consumption value of goods on the purchase intention of corporate brand products, the model was tested using SPSS 21.0 and Smart PLS 3.0 by receiving questionnaires from 457 men and women who have purchased goods. After examining the consumption values of goods, such as limited, functional, aesthetic, hedonistic, innovative, and social ego values, and product satisfaction, the effect on purchase intention of corporate brand products was analyzed. All were found to be significant except for innovative value, and product satisfaction had a significant effect on brand attachment and purchase intention of corporate brand products. We have recently redefine goods according to the trend of the times, and put an academic significance on the first classification of goods into four categories: human brand goods, brand goods, tourism goods, and character goods. It was confirmed that there was a partial difference in consumption value and satisfaction according to the type of goods. Through research, it is intended to broaden the understanding of goods and suggest the possibility of effective and useful marketing by suggesting planning and development directions according to the target.

  • This study conducted a online survey (URL), DM, , E-mail, etc. were used to sample 371 people using the standard convenience sampling method, and 320 valid samples excluding 51 unfaithful respondents were analyzed by applying causality (SEM). First, the hypothesis was adopted with the influence of positive (+) on the emotional response of the human brand's goods value. Second, the hypothesis was adopted that emotional response has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior. Third, the human brand's goods value has a positive (+) effect on consumption behavior, and the hypothesis was partially adopted. Finally, the indirect effect of emotional response in the relationship between goods value and consumption behavior was found to be statistically significant.

Development of Character Goods Content Utilizing Marker-based Augmented Reality (마커기반 증강현실을 활용한 캐릭터 굿즈 콘텐츠 개발)

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with a particular focus on the advancement of augmented reality (AR) devices. However, there is a shortage of AR content. Augmented reality operates through marker-based and markerless methods. The marker-based approach involves using a camera to capture images that serve as markers, enhancing them through AR principles. To address the scarcity of AR content and improve the quality of character goods, this study proposes integrating AR technology into character goods. The character industry is expanding each year, leading to a diverse range of character goods. Character acrylic stands, among these goods, leverage game, webtoon, and animation character IPs for sales. To enhance the design process, we utilized the character image as a marker, allowing for the creation of content that aligns with the characteristics of the character IP. We selected a webtoon character and developed AR content, incorporating features such as voice, speech bubbles, and an introduction to the webtoon, tailored to the webtoon's characteristics. This study demonstrates the potential of AR to present visual and auditory information, paving the way for a variety of products, including diverse content. We anticipate that utilizing this research will lead to the emergence of products encompassing various contents.

A Study on Airline Goods Marketing Factors Affecting Brand Loyalty (브랜드 충성도에 영향을 미치는 항공사 굿즈 마케팅 영향요인 연구)

  • This paper describes the significant effects of customer's PAD emotional response according to consumption value of airline goods on brand charisma, brand attitude, and brand loyalty. The result shows that among the consumption values, epistemic value, emotional value, and self-expressive value have a positive effect on PAD emotional response. In addition it was found that the PAD emotional response had positive influence on brand charisma but had no effect on brand attitude. Brand charisma was found to have significant positive influence on brand attitude and both brand charisma and brand attitude had positive effect on brand loyalty. Through the results of this study, airline goods products are an effective means to increase brand loyalty. Further more, this study provides academic and business implications for effective airline goods marketing.

A Study on the BTS Goods Values and Collaboration Brand Preference According to Fandom Type: Focusing on BTS Fan-club 'ARMY' (팬덤 동기에 따른 BTS 굿즈 가치와 협업 브랜드 선호도 연구: BTS 팬클럽 ARMY를 대상으로)

  • With rise in economic activity of fandoms, fashion brands often collaborate with K-pop stars such as BTS to enhance brand preference and sales. This study analyzes why people engage in fandom activity and its effects on collaboration fashion brand preference by focusing on 'BTS' and fandom 'Army'. This study aims to provide information to establish marketing strategies by identifying the influence of fandom culture related to the Korean Wave and the fashion industry, and empirically analyzing factors affecting active customer formation for long-term growth. The data were collected from BTS fan club 'Army' and a total data sets were analyzed using SPSS25.0 statistics program. The findings of this research were as following. Frist, BTS fandom motivation were identified as Need for Approval, Communication Need, Professionalism Need, Need to Belong, Consumption Need and the BTS fan groups were categorized into 3 groups. Third, comparing BTS goods values and collaboration brand preference an excess in each group was revealed. This study is significant because it provides essential data for the marketing strategy of fandom market by comparing marketing effects of BTS with the characteristics of fandom consumers and identifying the different desires of each group. As a result of this research, it can be seen that BTS an influential leading brand, has been adopted, and the research direction of empirical analysis has been presented. In practice companies can select specific fandom targets by using the sub-levels of fandom types that have become clear and implement marketing strategies of the fandom market.

  • 팬덤 문화가 확산함에 따라 굿즈 구매량이 증가하였고, 동시에 포토카드를 탑로더에 넣어 꾸미는 '탑꾸'를 SNS에 자랑하는 문화가 형성되었다. 그러나 구매 전 꾸미기 재료를 미리 조합해 볼 수 없어 실제로 재료를 조합할 때 비용적, 시간적, 자원 소모 측면에서 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 현재 가상 세계가 발전하면서 현실에서 실현하기 어려웠던 것을 시도할 수 있게 되었고, 소비자들도 가상 세계에서 활발하게 교류하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 '메타버스를 활용한 꾸미기 시뮬레이션'을 개발하여 탑로더를 꾸밀 때 발생하는 시행착오를 줄이고 비용을 절감할 방안을 제시한다.

Effects of Marketing Strategies on Intention of Purchase: Comparison between China and Korea (문화적 요소와 마케팅 전략의 수준이 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 중국과 한국의 비교)

  • Following the uprise of the Korean Wave, Korean big entertainment corporations, such as SM or YG, are selling cultural products through their subsidiaries. These cultural products or 'cultural goods' are using artists' images of the entertainments for various products including stationary, consumer electronics, cosmetics, snacks, etc, to produce significant profits. We focused on the level of marketing strategy that affects the intention of purchase of those cultural goods. Specifically, we classified three levels including product-level(quality and design), brand-level(price and brand name), and corporate-level(merchandising and sales methods) and investigated if consumer nationality has any effects on the relationship. Based on the survey results performed by 220 Korean and Chinese college students, we found that Chinese consumers generally have higher intention to purchase on Korean cultural goods. Especially, Chinese consumers showed that their purchase intention is affected by price and brand name strategies, thus we found that they are more sensitive to brand-level marketing strategies.

  • 현대 사회의 발전으로 인해 사람들의 삶의 질이 향상됨에 따라 사람들은 다양한 방식으로 자신 및 자신의 개성을 표출하려는 시도를 한다. 특히 IT 기술의 발전은 가상현실 및 3D 기술의 성장을 이끌어냈다. 본 논문은 다가올 4차 산업혁명에 발맞추어 사용자의 개성을 표출할 실용적이고 개성 있는 3D 모델링 아이디어를 제안하고자 한다. 스마트폰 사진 촬영과 동시에 사용자가 선택한 다른 캐릭터 사진과의 합성 사진을 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)과 Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) 기반 딥러닝 기술을 통해 생성한다. 생성된 이미지는 사용자의 모습과 합성의 대상이 되는 캐릭터의 모습을 동시에 담고 있다. 본 연구의 결과물로 생성된 합성 사진을 3D 프린터를 이용하여 자신만의 모습이 담긴 굿즈를 생산 혹은 이모티콘을 생성하는 등 다양한 실용적인 응용분야에 적용 가능하다.

  • Superhero movies are an important part of the Hollywood film industry. The Superman series is the most important of them, bringing high box office receipts and profits of surrounding goods to the Hollywood film industry. The Superman series of live-action movies is an adaptation and secondary creation of superhero comics. With the development of the times, the narrative content, narrative form and aesthetic design of the Superman series have changed with the times. The film "Superman: The Body of Steel" is the latest in the series, and it is also the re-launch of the Superman series of movies after seven years. The film has innovated and subverted the story and aesthetic design of the previous film.

  • Recently, several sporting events have been canceled or postponed due to the influence of COVID-19's imposed social distancing in life, or are being played without spectators. As a result, the market for sports products has been stagnant, and many are experiencing difficulties. To get over it, sports market players are exploring various new markets such as online fan services and online sales. Therefore, this study proposed a way to manage the authenticity of sports-related products. The block structure, system flow, and network model were designed and prototypes were developed accordingly. Experts were invited through the derived method to conduct a target group interview (FGI) to evaluate the reliability and stability of the transaction process, the reliability and stability of payment, the tracking of accidents, and the reliability and stability of the system. Through this study, consumers can have reliability when trading sports-related products such as goods, favorite items, and sign balls.
