A Study on Heat-transfer Characteristics the Shelter by Solar-heat Radiant (쉘터의 태양열 복사에 의한 열전달 특성에 관한 연구)

  • When developing military equipment, it should be designed considering the temperature condition so that the operator can operate in a stable environment. The shelter for storing various military equipments is operated in various environments. The storage temperature and operating requirements of the test equipment and repair accessories shall be $-32^{\circ}C$ to $50^{\circ}C$ and the inside of the shelter shall be designed to meet the storage temperature and operating requirements. In this study, thermal analysis of a 2.5 ton military shelter operating under high temperature and solar heat conditions is performed considering MIL-STD-810G. The thermal analysis was applied by using the concept of heat resistance and heat circuit, and the solar thermal test was performed on the actually manufactured military shelter in order to verify the analysis results.

  • Airworthiness certification of military aircraft is a government's certification that it must have airworthiness and ability to demonstrate its requested function and performance. NATO released STANAG-4671 to establish the minimum airworthiness requirements for UAVs between 150kg and 20,000kg MTOW in 2009. Up to now, there are no clear airworthiness certification criteria and guideline for small UAV which is less than 150kg. STANAG-4671 is used for military UAV airworthiness certification in Korea as Other Airworthiness Certification Criteria. However, since STANAG-4671 requires the same Target Level of Safety without regard to MTOW, excessive Target Level of Safety or design requirements could be applied to relatively small-medium UAV. In this paper, classification and criteria of airworthiness certification for military UAV were investigated and a Target Level of Safety was analyzed based on MTOW using ground victim criteria.

  • Electronic of military vehicle that had relied on pure machinery system is ongoing. A large part of electronic of small-sized military vehicle has been already commercialized, which will expand to large-sized military vehicle field. Design of solenoid valve for automatic transmission is significantly important for stable driving performance of military vehicle. This research aims to develop simulation method which is capable of predicting performance of solenoid valve quantitatively according to its variation of ATF temperature. The research has been conducted in line with Maxwell, a magnetic field analysis program, and AMESim, a hydraulic analysis program. After simulation, it turned out to have been very similar to the test result in temperature range which excludes high temperature (over $120^{\circ}C$) and extremely low temperature (below $-20^{\circ}C$).

공항주변 지역의 소음도 조사연구

  • 광주공항 주변의 항공기 소음 도를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 공항주변지역 항공기소음도는 우산동, 송대동, 신촌동에서 85 WECPNL 전후로 심각한 상태를 보이고 있으며, 덕흥동, 치평동, 본덕동은 소음피해예상한도 이내를 나타내고 있다. 2) 주거 밀집지역의 항공기소음도는 소음피해예상 기준인 80 WECPNL 보다 낮았으나, 군용기가 민항기에 비해 10 WECPNL 정도 높았고, 우산지구가 높게 나타났다. 3) 일반적으로 민간항공기에 비하여 군용기의 주파수 스펙트럼이 1000-2000Hz 대역에 치우쳐 있으며, 그 소음레벨도 약 20dB이상 높은 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 이유로 인하여 군용기의 소리가 훨씬 더 날카롭고 크며, 소리에 대하여 더 민감한 반응을 일으키는 주파수 대역에서 발생한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 통상적으로 국외도입부품의 가격은 그 모체장비의 수명이 경과하여 도태시기로 갈수록 가격이 급격히 상승하며, 심지어는 우리가 아무리 많은 비용을 지불하더라도 조달이 곤란한 경우가 많이 발생한다. 따라서 유사시 원활한 군수지원을 위해서는 국내에 안정적인 조달원을 유지하여야 하며, 이것이 적기 군수지원과 경제적인 조달을 위한 최선의 방안이라는 점이다. 이 글에서는 군용물자의 부품 군산화와 관련된 전반적인 정책과 지원제도에 관한 문제점을 도출하고 부품국산화를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 정비밴과 수리부속밴은 2.5톤 군용차량에 쉘터를 탑재하여 사용한다. 쉘터 내부는 선반형태로 구성된 정비밴과 서랍형태로 구성된 수리부속밴이 포장도로 및 비포장 도로 주행 시 받게 되는 진동,충격 등의 동특성을 비교 분석하여 유사체계에 설계 시 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

  • 수직이착륙, 영어로는 VTOL(Vertical Take-Off and Landing)이라 불리는 기술은 공기역학을 거부한 첨단 항공우주기술이다. 일반적으로 고정익 항공기는 날개에서 발생하는 양력으로 하늘을 날지만 VTOL 항공기는 순수한 엔진 추력만으로 수직으로 이착륙하거나 단거리에서 이륙할 수 있다. 다만 높은 기술적 완성도를 요구하는 만큼 현재까지 실전 배치된 군용기 중 이 기술이 적용된 군용기는 해리어(Harrier)와 V-22 오스프리(Osprey), Yak-38 정도가 고작이다. 수직이착륙 기술에 대해 소개한다.

  • 본 연구는 미래 네트워크 중심전의 핵심으로 등장하고 있는 군용 정보 통신 체계 및 구성 장비의 특성과 발전 동향을 소개하는 차원에서 분석 제시한다. 1장에서는 네트워크 중심전이 태동하게 된 배경을 살펴보았고, 2장에서는 미래 네트워크 중심전의 핵심 전력인 군 전술 정보 통신 체계의 국내외 발전 동향에 대해 분석하였다. 3장에서 군용 정보 통신 체계를 구성하는 정보 통신 장비의 종류 및 기술의 발전 추세를 분석하여 제시한 후, 4장에서 미래전에 대한 시사점을 결론적인 차원에서 제시하였다.

  • An increase of airplanes and military aircraft operation lead to significant demanding of residential claims by people who live in nearby airports and military bases due to noise, vibration and residential damages caused by aircraft operations. In recent years, a plaintiff has filed a lawsuit against the defendant, claiming the prohibition of using claimant's possessed land as a helicopter landing route, and the Daejeon High Court was in favour of the plaintiff. Although the Supreme Court later dismissed the Appeal Court decision, it is necessary to discuss the case of setting flight prohibited zone. In Japan, the airport noise lawsuits have been filed for a long time, mainly by environmental groups. Unlike the case that admitted residential damages caused by noise, the Yokohama District Court for the first time sentenced a judgment of the prohibition of the flight. This ruling was partially changed in the appellate court and some of the plaintiffs' claims were adopted. However, the Supreme Court of Japan finally rejected such decision from appeal and district courts. Atsugi Base is an army camp jointly used by the United States and Japan, and residents, live nearby, claim that they are suffering from mental damage such as physical abnormal, insomnia, and life disturbance because of the noise from airplane taking off and landing in the base. An administrative lawsuit was therefore preceded in the Yokohama District Court. The plaintiff requested the Japan Self-Defense Forces(hereinafter 'JSDF') and US military aircraft to be prohibited operating. The court firstly held the limitation of the flight operation from 10pm to 6am, except unavoidable circumstance. The case was appealed. The Supreme Court of Japan dismissed the original judgment on the flight claim of the JSDF aircraft, canceled the first judgment, and rejected the claims of the plaintiffs. The Supreme Court ruled that the exercise of the authority of the Minister of Defense is reasonable since the JSDF aircraft is operating public flight high zone. The court agreed that noise pollution is such an issue for the residents but there are countermeasures which can be taken by concerned parties. In Korea, the residents can sue against the United States or the Republic of Korea or the Ministry of National Defense for the prohibition of the aircraft operation. However, if they claim against US government regarding to the US military flight operation, the Korean court must issue a dismissal order as its jurisdiction exemption. According to the current case law, the Korean courts do not allow a claimant to appeal for the performance of obligation or an anonymous appeal against the Minister of National Defense for prohibiting flight of military aircraft. However, if the Administrative Appeals Act is amended and obligatory performance litigation is introduced, the claim to the Minister of National Defense can be permitted. In order to judge administrative case of the military aircraft operation, trade-off between interests of the residents and difficulties of the third parties should be measured in the court, if the Act is changed and such claims are granted. In this connection, the Minister of National Defense ought to prove and illuminate the profit from the military aircraft operation and it should be significantly greater than the benefits which neighboring residents will get from the prohibiting flight of military aircraft.
