Integrated Logistics Support can effectively respond to future wars and through the smooth logistics support activities bring a win in wars. Future warfare is very complex compare to Modern Warfare and required high level of strategies and tactics. Also, it is expected that the future war will be high-intensity war using high-tech weapon systems. Therefore, in this study, I look forward to the effective logistic support through the development of ammunition integrated logistics support which is a part of integrated logistics support(ILS). In addition, by studying a step-by-step system and supporting element of ammunition integrated logistics support, we can find the errors related to ammunition integrated logistics support system and suggest the direction to improve the system.

One of the important roles used to ensure victory in a war is to maximize the overall military forces and to make sure that the capability of the military forces can be sustained as much as possible. Although several researchers have proposed various possible methodologies for logistics support, no research trials have been undertaken to investigate logistics support that considers all relevant elements of such. Unlike previous in trials that consider and analyze the system fault ratio as the main methodology, we propose an approach that simultaneously decides and recommends logistic priority by reflecting and combining item costs, transportation, fault-ratio, and system complexity. Also, we designed an algorithm that can recommend optimized logistics support priority using stationary distribution.

The future warfare is known as an effective centric paralysis warfare where military high technologies such as pinpoint strikes are applied. In this future warfare, for supporting military operation leadership and power of concentration in the combat, a new concept of logistic support is required and the focused logistic is proposed as an alternative. To implement this focused logistic, asset visibility should be assumed for every combat units in real time. However, current logistic information systems provide only limited information. In this study, a prototype information system for class 2 and 4 supplies is proposed for overcome limitations of current information system. The developed prototype zooms in on combat units providing business process integrations and logistic function synchronization. Also, asset visibility, the essential element of focused logistics, is presented and utilized to show the speedy and effective logistic support.

This study focused on service quality, service value, service satisfaction and service trust of system being used in DAPA(Defence Aquisition Program Adminstration) to manage logistic items. DAPA in operating a few systems to manage efficiently logistic items. This study focused on the catalog management system service quality. Because catalog management system has been the most requested service system of being used in DAPA by defense firms since DAPA was founded, it would be the most fitted system in this study. Through this study, we drew a direction in establishing service. This study also could be applied to business practice so defence industry firms would trust DAPA and DAPA could offer a better service quality. Quick and exact service offered by logistic catalog management system would lead delivery of military supplies and export. Consequently, the best quality service would contribute to profit increase for defence industry firms, independent defence and nation economy development.

Even though the Korean military continued to develop military logistics support systems, sufficient research on logistics service has not been conducted. The main purpose of the research is to examine employees' job satisfaction of logistics units by logistics functions (the ordnance, the supply, the food), and further the relationship between the job satisfaction of logistics units and service quality of the user(combat) units. Some results are as follows. First, the job satisfaction among logistics units was significantly different by functions. Second, the tangible among service quality factors of user units was been significantly different among functional units. Finally, through the post hoc analyses, some meaningful results on service quality were also identified.

분단된 조국의 현실은 항상 전쟁 가능성을 내재하고 있다. 따라서 이로 인해 언제라도 발생될 전쟁에 대비하여 원활한 군수지원체제를 구축하여야 한다. 군수지원에서 가장 중요한 문제는 "필요한 시기에 필요한 물자를 양만큼 공급"해야 하는 것이다. 만약 군수물자를 외국에 의존하고 있다면 전쟁 발발시 우리 군수물자의 조달관리에 차질을 가져올 것이고, 이때의 손실은 이루 헤아릴 수 없을 것이다. 이와 같은 의미에서 국산화는 곧바로 국가 안보문제까지 제기된다는 점을 감안할 때 국산화의 중요성은 재삼 거론할 필요조차 없을 것이다.

싱가폴이 항공공업과 군수공업 육성에 거는 노력은 눈부신 바가 있다. 군의 정비공장에서 출발한 군수공업은 과거 15년 사이에 즉 독립후 10년부터 오늘날까지 비약적인 발전을 이룩하였고 군수 공업의 내용도 꽤 높은 수준의 것이 되어가고 있다. 군수공업전체를 포함하는 싱가폴 테크놀로지 아래에 항공기를 담당하는 싱가폴 항공, 선박 관계를 담당하는 싱가폴 조선 및 엔지니어링, 전차/군용차를 담당하는 싱가폴 오토모티브 엔지니어링, 포병병기를 담당하는 Ordinance 개발기술사등이 있다.

군수품의 품질보증에서도 고객만족지수를 개발하여 고객이 만족하는 군수품을 생산하고 보급하는 것은 중요하다. 국내에서는 최초로 서울대와 국방품질관리소가 공동으로 군수품 고객만족지수(Military Customer Satisfaction Index: MCSI)를 개발하였다. 본 논문에서는 MCSI 모형을 설명하고, 표본설계와 조사방법 및 설문지를 소개하기로 한다. 그리고 MCSI를 테스트하기 위한 예비조사의 결과를 간단히 소개하기로 한다.
