최근 한 대학병원 의사의 한국사랑 이야기를 담은 책이 화제다. <내 고향은 전라도, 내 영혼은 한국인>이란 제목의 이 책은 세브란스병원 국제진료센터 인요한 소장이 쓴 에세이집이다. 푸른 눈에 큰 키, 서구적인 외양을 갖고 있는 그가 자신의 영혼은 '한국인' 이라고, 한걸음 더 나아가 '순천촌놈'이라고 이야기하고 있다. 그 주인공을 만나기 위해 그의 일터, 세브란스병원 국제진료센터를 찾았다.

대한결핵협회 창립 60주년 기념행사에서 '제25회 복십자대상'을 수상한 연세대학교 국제진료센터 인요한 소장. 수상소감으로 "제가 한 일은 없습니다. 우리 가족을 대표해 주는 상이라고 생각합니다. 협회 창립 60주년 기념을 맞아 수상하게 돼 더욱 뜻깊고 감사하게 생각합니다"라고 전하는 그는 자신을 한없이 낮출 줄 아는 사람이었다. 한국인보다 더 한국인 같은, 진짜배기 한국인 인요한 소장을 연세대학교 국제진료센터에서 만나보았다.

This study is a study on the applicability of the medical humanities curriculum through a narrative study on international treatment of foreign patients. Korea's medical system and standards are world-class, and it can be seen that the knowledge and skills for patient care are sufficient, which shows that the competence for patient care emphasized by Korean doctors is sufficient. In terms of social responsibility for doctors in Korea, the importance of volunteering is learned from medical school education, and through medical field experiences in various cultures, it can be seen that volunteering is important to lead to lifelong work as a doctor. In the field of professionalism, professionalism could be expressed as a doctor, and in all processes, the medical staff understood and empathized with the pain of the patient, and it was found that the sincerity was conveyed to the patient. Professionalism is an area that is being emphasized more recently, and it is necessary to provide educational opportunities for professionalism to doctors as well as medical school education. This international medical experience can be applied to the medical humanities curriculum of the medical school, and a harmonized and integrated medical humanities curriculum can be operated throughout the six-year curriculum.

In this study, the Commission proposed the mitigation of remedies by improving the role of medical disputes and preventing medical disputes. Medical disputes include a comprehensive description of medical malpractice, medical negligence, medical malpractice, and medical malpractice. Medical negligence refers to the neglect of medical care due to careless medical care in the treatment of patients, leading to patient injury and death. An inappropriate response in the process of international treatment could result in international trials and a decline in international credibility. In cases where medical disputes arise, health care is strictly necessary to determine the truth or absence of medical malpractice, and these expertise and experience are usually provided by emotion. With the neutral and objective emotions provided fairly and impartially, medical care expertise and experience can be fair, and the medical disputes can be resolved peacefully if the parties are trustworthy. The Health Care Dispute Mediation Committee should focus on enhancing the professionalism, objectivity, and reliability of medical care.

These days ships medical treatment is under unfavorable circumstances, because there is no professional doctor who can diagnose and treat the patients accurately on the ships. Therefore, ship's telemedicine should be urgently actualized to elevate the crew's my of boarding life and welfare. A purpose of this research is to develope the telemedicine system which can acquire the patient's informations like ECG and phonocardiogram used for the diagnosis and transmit those to the doctors of shore medical center. In this paper, we designed the communication part which could transmit the bio-signals acquired from the developed ship's digital ECG and stethoscope based on personal computer by the INMARSAT Also we inspected data errors through the comparison between the sent and received data And we confirmed the possibility and compatibility of the telemedicine using ship's communication system.
