International Standardization in all technical area is gaining its momentum as its impact and implication over global trade is directly linked. The worldwide competition to secure a dominant position in the standardization process is ever growing over the years. In 2005, the International Technical Committee on Nuclear Instrumentation, which is a subunit of International Electro-technical Commission (IEC), was held in Korea under the auspices of MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology). Korea has adopted its Rule and Regulation as the National Standard. As a part of a link to National Mid-and Long-term Atomic Energy R&D Program of MOST, the technical development of a performance test for the radiation monitors was carried out under mechanical environment and electromagnetic immunity conditions. The characteristics of the radiation fields were also evaluated under the conditions and introduced to a techniques of performance test for the radiation protection instrumentation adopted IEC61526 standards and it's results was analyzed. We would like to share the experience gained in these efforts, failure as well as success, and to discuss the problems encountered and serious consideration to be taken into account in the future endeavor.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors affecting nurses' organizational commitment of the JCI. Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed using questionnaire. Data were collected from 198 nurses who worked at one hospital from 5 to 14 May 2013. Tools were used general characteristics, perception(Yang & Choi, 2014), job stress(Park, 2005), organizational commitment(Mowday, Porter, & Steers, 1979). Results: The scores of perception, job stress, and organizational commitment of the JCI were 3.21/5, 4.08/5, and 2.65/5 respectively. Organizational commitment was significantly different according to degree. A positive correlation was observed between perception and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment was negatively correlated with job stress. The explained variances for organizational commitment was 26.3% and factors affecting nurses' organizational commitment were degree, perception, and job stress. Conclusion: These results showed the significant factors for nurses' organizational commitment of JCI. These findings can be utilized to development of strategies for reducing job stress, and enhancing perception of JCI.

This study evaluates the economic benefit of the project constructing the international riding arena having been built at Sangju in Gyeongsangbuk-Do by the willingness to pay (WTP) of residents in the province. As the evaluation method, the dichotomous choice contingent valuation method (CVM) is adopted with the additional questions of whether his/her WTP is zero, to improve the statistical accuracy of evaluation results. Considering the arena's administrative location, the population of the surveys for analysis is confined to residents of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The survey is conducted through personal interviews. It turns out that the WTP per household per year is evaluated as 1,847 won and the total yearly benefit of the Sangju international horse riding arena is estimated as 3.56 billion won.

소프트웨어 품질 평가에 대한 관심이 고조되면서 소프트웨어 품질 평가를 위한 방법은 국제적으로 활발히 연구되고 있다. 국내의 시험 평가 기관에서는 대체적으로 ISO/IEC 9126에 의한 품질 평가 방법을 적용하여 소프트웨어 품질을 평가하고 있으나 현재 국제적으로 소프트웨어 품질 평가를 좀더 정량적으로 정확히 하기 위하여 평가 메트릭을 새롭게 제정하기 위한 연구를 진행 중에 있다. 국내에서도 이와 같은 소프트웨어 품질 평가를 위한 모델 연구가 필요할 것으로 보여지며 이러한 기초자료로 현재 진행되어지고 있는 국내외 소프트웨어 품질 평가 표준화 동향 조사를 본 연구에서 진행하였다.

There is a close relationship between indicators of statistics and performance measurement in international standards, working sections and the data items similarity in academic libraries. However, this co-relationship between statistics and measuring performance in the Korean academic library is not related to each other in terms of designing or usage. In order to prove this, the co-relationship between indicators of statistics and performance measurement has been researched based on applications of international standards and data. The international result shows 45% of overlapping in statistical and measuring performance indicators. However, there is only 14 to 26% of the co-relationship in existing statistics and performance measurement in Korea. A considerable improvement of the co-relationship between the indicators has newly been found. Therefore, in developing online system of academic library statistics, it is essential to provideinclusive information between indications of statistics and performance measurements.

소프트웨어 품질 평가를 함에 있어서 정량적이고 객관적인 소프트웨어의 품질 평가 방안을 제시하는 것은 상당히 중요하다. 현재 진행 중에 있는 소프트웨어 품질 평가 국제 표준 ISO/IEC 25000 프로젝트에서 제시하고 있는 품질 측정 프리미티브를 제시하고 이와 같은 품질 측정 프리미티브를 활용하여 소프트웨어 품질 평가를 실행할 수 있는 방안을 제시하려 한다.

Electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) in social media has been recognized as one of the most influential marketing tools across various businesses. Understanding eWOM in social media is critical to reach potential global consumers easily and quickly in the hospitality industry. However, few empirical studies in hospitality attempted to evaluate the effectiveness of eWOM in social media from a global perspective. Given the competitive climate of the hospitality market, it is meaningful for hospitality marketers to evaluate the effectiveness of eWOM in social media and the influence of cultural factors to promote customers and increase profitability globally. The main purpose of this study was to examine the influence of cultural values on social media eWOM in the hospitality industry in China, Korea, and the USA. The result of this study indicates Chinese and American people engage more than Korean people when they try to purchase hospitality product and service This study particularly provided a cross-cultural study of comparison among these countries and the findings of this study are expected to provide important practical assistance for global marketing strategies in social media.

산업용 소프트웨어의 유형은 크게 패키지형, 내장형, 시스템형으로 구분할 수 있다. 패키지형 소프트웨어는 산업용 ERP를 의미하며, 내장형 소프트웨어는 산업용 기기에 내장되어 사용되고, 시스템형은 제조 및 생산 시스템의 전반적인 제어를 위한 소프트웨어이다. 본 연구에서는 산업용 내장형 소프트웨어를 대상으로 하여 품질시험 및 평가를 수행할 수 있는 평가모듈의 개발에 관해 기술하였다. 평가모듈의 객관성 및 타당성을 제고하기 위해서는 국제표준을 기반으로 한 체계 구축이 필수적이다. 관련된 국제표준으로는 소프트웨어 제품의 요구사항 및 평가에 관한 표준인 ISO/IEC 12119와 9126이 있으며, 평가모듈의 구성 형식을 규정하고 있는 ISO/IEC 14598-6이 있다. 이러한 표준들을 기반으로 하여 산업용 내장형 소프트웨어의 품질 요구사항을 추출하고 품질 요구의 만족 수준을 평가할 수 있는 평가 모듈을 구축하였다.

Growing worldwide interests in walking are increasing and walking surveys and measuring walking projects are becoming more popular. By the way, we do not have the general survey method on walking yet. The lacks of pedestrian walking features lead to underestimate walking population and the social importance of walking. To solve this problem, Walk21 and Pedestrian Quality Needs projects have tried to build the international standardization in methodology of measuring walking. This study suggests indicator system of the measuring walking and models on the measuring walking proposed by the international measuring walking projects. In addition, we reviewed global governance of those projects and several cases related to the measuring walking. This paper will contribute to domestic walking surveys for participating actively in the ongoing international standardization methodology of walking.

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where the importance of cutting-edge technology and software is highlighted, there is a growing need for education to think deeply about humans and the future and foster creative human beings who can contribute to the whole of humanity. This paper proposes a plan to introduce core competencies and evaluations analyzed according to international Baccalaureate orientation so that it can be applied to education using creative storytelling applied to the 『Creative storytelling class that is easy even by yourself』 textbook developed by the Science and Technology in Society Research Center at Jeju University. Furthermore, the proposed core competencies, evaluation criteria, and their measures were applied flexibly to existing classes by incorporating IBs to expand utilization opportunities. I hope this paper will help open up positive possibilities for introducing domestic IBs, and further fostering internationally recognized creative convergence talent.
