In the many countries including United States, numerous librarians participate as research project members and publish papers in related/non-LIS journals. In recent years, the quantity of papers published by librarians in LIS journals and the non-LIS journals is similar. This study analyzed whether librarians join the research team in various academic fields in South Korea, carry out the research together, and publish the papers in co-authorship. This study collected and analyzed 319 articles of the authors affiliated with libraries published in the last 10 years from the Korea Citation Index. As a result, there were not many articles published by the authors in the non-LIS journal. Nonetheless, specific examples of librarians collaborating closely with other disciplinary research teams were observed; Medicine, Architecture, Materials Engineering, etc. Librarians' contribution in research projects in South Korea is expected to increase in the future. Therefore, it is desirable to prepare for this such as opening courses on research projects in the library and the department of LIS which is training librarians as well.

This paper is a preliminary study to consider the introduction of structured abstracts to Korean journals in the field of library and information science (LIS). To achieve this, we first identified examples of overseas LIS journals that have adopted structured abstracts, and analyzed the occurrence statistics of each section of structured abstracts for four journals published by Emerald Publishing that emphasize the value of research and practical/social implications sections. Considering the inherent drawback of longer abstracts, we examined the abstract policies and the abstract lengths of recently published articles of four Korean LIS journals. Additionally, we identified some cases where essential elements were missing from the Korean abstracts. Finally, a proposal for the adoption of structured abstracts for Korean LIS journals was presented, focusing on the length of abstracts and the organization of sections. It is expected that the adoption of the proposed structured abstract format will facilitate the utilization of Korean LIS research in the library and information management practice.

This study is to examine academic phenomena of public administration research field in Korea through analysing the trends of researcher behavior. For the purpose of this study I analysed the types of research performance, reference materials, core journals, and the half-life of reference materials by investigating the articles in Korean Public Administration Review which is one of the major journal in this discipline. The results I found out are the followings: most of researches of the public administration are performed individually by the established academic fellows : researchers show their preference to foreign journals: as for the case of domestic journals, researchers tend to refer the latest issue: the major journal is discriminated from the others by getting a higher points

문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사가 트위터, 페이스북 등 소셜미디어 분석한 것에 따르면, 모바일 여행 서비스가 증가하고 있고 여행자들의 취향이 세분화되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 개인 맞춤형 여행을 선호하고 숨은 관광지를 찾는 여행자들이 많아지고 있다. 또한, 국내 여행의 수요가 증가하는 상황에서 출시된 주요 어플리케이션을 살펴보면 변화하고 있는 트렌드에 부합하지 않는다. 따라서, 변화하는 트렌드에 맞춰 사용자가 자신에게 맞는 여행을 계획할 수 있도록 사용자 기반으로 한 추천 기능과 유사한 관광지 추천 기능을 추가한다. 세분화된 사용자의 취향에 근접하기 위해 관광지 개요를 기반으로 유사한 관광지 추천 기능을 구현하고 리뷰 감성 분석을 기반으로 사용자 기반 관광지 추천 기능을 구현한다. 뿐만 아니라, 증강현실 내비게이션 기능도 추가한다. 이를 통해 사용자들이 자신에게 맞는 국내 여행을 계획하는 데 도움을 주고 유명한 관광지보다는 숨은 여행지를 선호하는 사용자 그리고 밀집된 관광지에서 목적지를 찾는 것에 불편함이 있는 사용자들에게는 편리함을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

This study presents the research trends of Records and Archives Management in Korea by analyzing the articles of the Records and Archives Management in Korea according to subjects, issue periods, journals and researchers. For the study, 374 articles from 3 academic journals published between 1999 and 2009 were analyzed. As a result, several research trends in this field were discovered. The summary of the study is as follows: Firstly, it has been proven that the productivity of the articles of Records and Archives Management in Korea increases as time goes by. Secondly, there are differences in the subject fields among journals in Records and Archives Management. Thirdly, there are differences in the subject fields among researchers' institutions. Fourthly, there are no differences in the subject fields among researchers' specialized areas.

오늘날의 정원(Garden)은 다양한 형태로 진화하고 있는데 이중 커뮤니티가든(Community Garden)은 도시화로 인하여 발생하는 개인과 사회의 문제를 해결하기 위한 대안으로 자리잡고 있다. 도시에서의 커뮤니티가든은 커뮤니티 활동을 활발하게 펼칠 수 있는 터가 되어주고 있는바 이에 국내 도시 커뮤니티가든에 대한 현황을 살펴보고 이를 위해 이론적고찰과 현장답사, 자료분석을 토대로 하여 한국적 맥락의 도시 커뮤니티가든에 대한 개념 정립을 위한 기초연구를 진행하였다. 국내 주요 도시 13곳 내에 위치한 35개 사례지를 선정하여 조사한 결과 한국적 맥락의 도시 커뮤니티가든은 주민조직과 지자체의 행정지도가 어우러진 도심내 유휴지 또는 마을 공터에 조성된 공동경작 또는 개인경작이 어우러진 정원이라 할 수 있다. 또한 한국의 도시 커뮤니티가든은 해당 지자체의 관리와 보조금 지급여부에 따라 커뮤니티가든의 물리적 상태가 달라졌으며 따라서, 주민조직체계에 대한 지원과 효율적인 관리시스템이 확립된다면 도시 커뮤니티가든의 지속가능성은 높아질 것으로 사료된다.

건강도시는 1986년 초기부터 그 개념이 국내 학계에 소개되어 왔으나 1996년이 되어서 시범사업이 국내 최초로 시도 되었고, 현재는 여러 자치단체서 건강도시 프로젝트를 진행하고 있거나 준비하고 있다. 그러나 건강도시를 수행하고 있는 국내 지자체가 급증하고 추이인 반면, 건강도시의 공통적인 기준이나 지자체의 역할이 모호하여, 사업 추진시 어려움이 드러나고 있다. 중앙정부나 광역시 차원에서도 지자체를 지원하기 위안 방안 마련을 위해 현재 대한민국 건강도시의 현황과 이에 대한 적합한 지원방안이 절실한 상태이나 현재 건강도시에 대한 현황이 종합적으로 검토되고 있지 않은 상황이었다. 본 연구에서는 대한민국 건강도시를 재원과 사업을 유형별로 분석하여 정립하고, 유럽의 건강도시와 비교하여 현재 수행하고 있는 사업 분석을 통하여 건강도시 사업 추진을 지원하고 지속가능한 건강도시 발전 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

한국암석학회에서 발간하는 암석학회지에 지난 10년간 수록된 논문들이 여러 학술지에 얼마나 인용되고 있는지에 대한 통계조사를 실시하였다 대상학술지는 암석학회지 자체를 비롯하여 SCI 등재 국제학술지, 그리고 관련된 분야에서 국내의 대표적 학술지라고 생각할 수 있는 지질학회지, Geosciences Journal, 자원환경지질, 지구과학회지를 대상으로 하였다. 결과를 보면 지난 10년간 암석학회지에 수록된 논문의 수는 논평과 단보를 포함하여 총152편이며 가장 많은 논문을 게재한 저자는 김형식으로 21편의 논문을 게재하였다 암석학회지 논문의 피인용 회수는 총370회로 암석학회지에 가장 많은 158회 인용되었으며. SCI 학술지에는 46회 인용된 것으로 조사되었고, 다른 국내 학국지 중에서는 지질학회지에 72회로 가장 많이 인용되었다 가장 많은 피인용 빈도를 보인 논문은 Liu(1993)로 총 27회이고, 가장 많은 피인용 회수를 보인 저자는 권성택으로 81회이다. 다른 국내학술지들의 피인용 통계자료가 없어 직접적인 비교를 하기는 어렵지만 관련 분야의 학술지 중에서는 피인용 정도가 정상급 수준이라고 판단된다. 그러나 아직 여러 기준으로 볼 때 수준급인 국제학술지와는 차이가 있으며 더욱 개선되어야 할 것으로 생각한다.

In 2007, due to the outcome of the Korea-U.S. FTA negotiations, the opportunities for American beef greatly increased and a serious change in the domestic dining market is expected. The market currently faces issues such as the settlement of the beef origin declaration policy and the fulfillment of customer needs on domestic and imported beef. The following are the summary of the results of the aforementioned research and analysis. First, the consumer awareness level of origin declarations was comparatively low. Second, the reason behind the propensity for imported beef was the comparatively cheaper price despite the lower taste quality, and it was determined that there is a high level of distrust on domestic beef sold in general restaurants. Third, domestic beef showed a high valuation in taste, safety and freshness, while imported beef showed results which were below average. Concluding from the above research results, a dining environment should be created where consumers can trust what they eat through settlement of an origin declaration policy, and more efforts should be put into fulfilling consumer needs for both domestic and imported beef.

The purpose of this study is to examine the tendency of open access income models in gratis open access journals and fee-based online journals in Korea. This study found that there was no clear difference between two groups and fee-based online journals had several of the same characteristics of open access journals. That is, the societies published fee-based journals have requested APC to authors and additional page charges for the articles with research funding. Also, in case of fee-based online journals, the journals received subsidies from external funding agencies were more than free OA journals. These findings show that fee-based online journals in Korea have a lot of capability to transition to open access journals.
