A Study on the Improvement of NCS for Cadastral Field (지적분야 NCS 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The Korean government strives to transform the society from one that stresses academic and qualification to one that stresses individual competencies. National Competency Standards(NCS) has been adopted to this end. However, NCS classifies cadastre into a group with survey and spatial information collection. Such classification limits cadastre to encompass cadastral administration, cadastral survey, geospatial survey, etc. This study reviews current status and implications of NCS, and proposes few solutions: improvement of classification system, introduction of cadastral industry cooperation model, curriculum development based on competency level, unification between NCS developer and learning module writing group, etc.

A Study for Developing Generic Competency Standards Focusing on Professional Engineer Qualification in National Technical Qualification Act (공통직무능력표준 개발연구: 국가기술자격법상 기술사 자격을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the national generic competency standards for professional engineer and so improve the quality of Korean professional engineer into an international level. First, this study intends to develop the national generic competency standards for professional engineer that contributes to maintain and enhance the quality of professional engineers in terms of a linkage among education and training, qualification, and labor market. Second, this study aim to obtain the national generic competency standards for professional engineer that applies to reform the criteria of certification, testing, and interview of National Technical Qualification System as well as to develop the curriculum of engineering education and continuing professional development and the system of human resource management in corporations. As a result, a final draft of the national generic competency standards for professional engineer was confirmed to include 12 clusters of competency standards and 56 elements of competency standards.

  • 본 글에서는 업무 종사자에게 실무에서 필요한 지식을 효과적으로 공급하기 위한 목적으로 지식을 실무의 관점에서 작은 모듈로 분해한 뒤 표준화하여 수요자에게 제공하는 체계인 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards: NCS)을 소개하였다. 파인세라믹 분야에 대해 개발된 NCS의 구성을 간략히 소개하였으며 활용될 수 있는 분야를 알아보았다. 또한 NCS에 대해 정합성을 갖춘 지식 제공 체계인 학습모듈의 구성을 소개하였다. 이와 같은 NCS 및 학습모듈의 활용을 통하여 지식의 수요와 공급에 대해서도 모듈화의 개념을 적용하고 필요한 지식이 효율적으로 유통되는 체계를 추구하였다.

  • Expenses in the form of personnel expenses in the past, in modern times, machine guards to gradually transition has been. This is because the machine guard is more efficient than personnel expenses. But due to false alarms, despite the high expectations of the effects of electronic security in the operation of the electronic security system due to factors that hinder the development of machine guards growth slows. Defect removal aspects of this paper, using IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) techniques to study the operation of electronic security systems and its importance in the development of machine guards, look at how high the technical aspects of electronic security systems composite type of malfunction to minimize crime sensor are presented.

  • 최근 문제해결능력향상을 위해 대학에서는 PBL 교수법(Problem-Based Learning)을 도입하고 있으며 국가 차원에서도 이를 장려하고 있다. 본 연구는 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 직무능력단위 중 하나인 문제해결능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과적인 수업방법을 모색함과 동시에 교육현장에서 직면할 수 있는 문제를 합리적으로 해결하는 학습자 능력 신장을 위해 PBL수업을 활용하였다. 이에 본 연구는 문제중심학습법을 대학 영어전공 교과목에 적용함으로써 대학생의 창의적 문제해결력과 수업참여도에 대한 효과를 살펴보는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 사전검사, PBL수업 운영, 사후검사의 3단계로 진행된다.

  • This paper describes a research for improvement official approval of information processing in national technical qualification. In this paper, we analysis the contents of current exams and propose the new evaluation method of practical exam in information processing fields through grafting new trends of ICT and ability unit, fulfillment criteria in national competency standards(NCS). Also, we have verified the effect of exam through the pilot test. In the future, we will apply the new exams after the revision of guidelines for marking questions by expert group in its duty fields basis on this research

  • In the midst of the rising need for Industrial Security experts, the development of National Competency Standards(NCS) with regards to industrial security is a very important and urgent task. The NCS standardizes university-level academic curriculum and qualification systems and connects them with the industry's needs. This study has extracted, classified and analyzed security-related jobs and tasks requiring security expertise that is required within NCS. Through this study, many tasks have been confirmed to require security competencies that are different from those in IT-security, physical security that already exist as a NCS tasks. It is expected that the industry's needs of industrial security expertise will be reflected in future NCS development, which will be used as basic data for systematizing industrial security jobs and competency.

Comparative Study on Qualification System of Competency Assessor in Australia and Scotland (스코틀랜드와 호주의 NCS기반 직무능력평가자(Competency Assessor) 자격제도에 관한 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the qualification system of competency assessor based NCS(National Skill Standards) in Australia and Scotland. To meet the purpose of the study, the characteristics of competency based assessment and the role of assessor was reviewed, and competency assessor qualification system of both countries were analysed. Australia and Scotland have developed the certification system of competency assessor based on national qualification framework. Education and Training Institutes in both countries should meet the requirement of RTOs(Registered Training Organizations) and CRBs(Credit Rating Body), which can develop and operate assessor qualification course based NQF. Also they must ensure all assessors are qualified with competency, currency and professional development and show how they have maintained, upgraded or developed new skills relevant to the current industry needs. In recent years, Korea has been introduced competency based curriculum linked with NCS in education and training sector. Also the introduction of competency assessor qualification system are currently under consideration by government. In this circumstances, the results of comparative analysis about Australia and Scotland can help the Korean government review the policies and strategies qualifying competency assessor. They also provide some implications for exploring and examining assessor qualification system based NCS and KQF(Korean Qualification Framework) in Korea.
