Thermophysical Properties of 4D Carbon/Carbon Composites with Preform Architectures (프리폼 구조에 따른 4방향성 탄소/탄소 복합재의 열물리적 특성)

  • In this study, 4 directional carbon/carbon composites with different preform architectures were manufactured and their thermophysical properties are studied. Carbon fiber preforms are fabricated with fiber bundles using four different spaces. The density of the fabricated preforms were increased through pressure impregnation and carbonizing process. The increased density of the composites was graphitized at $2300^{\circ}C$. Microstructures of these composite were observed under scanning electron microscope. This was to understand the effect the preform architectures has on the thermophysical properties of carbon/carbon composites. Also, the behavior of thermal conduction and heat expansion was investigated and studied in association with the factors of the reinforced direction of fibers and unit cell of preforms.

  • Already, core wall construction method for apartment wall structure and general building special areas applied the engineering method's appropriate examination. Also, trial and error depending on slip-form method is a good examination opportunity to consider. In the present paper's slip-form engineering method l)Casting concrete to slab in sliding 2)RC structure + SRC structure (part of segment) 3)Inside segment variation(straight line-diagonal-circle) are together while determining whether it is possible not to carry out actual construction work on the structure. Finally, small problems continuously appear on actual slip-form method application, design and engineering, starting with planning thoroughly the field examination and diagnosing the atmosphere, minimizing cost, secure work safety facilities characterized by good quality, slip-form research extension, development and decision-making.

  • 폭파하중에 대한 구조물 위험평가 해석을 위해 3차원 모델링 기법 중 하나인 변수모델링과 이를 활용한 3차원 유한요소해석 모델을 구축하여 외연적 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 폭파하중은 ConWep을 이용하였고, 폭파압력 저감을 위해 알루미늄 폼의 밀도와 두께, 그리고 덮개 여부를 해석 변수로 설정하였다. 해석 결과, 알루미늄 폼의 밀도가 낮고 두께가 두꺼울수록 항복강도 수준으로 제어할 수 있었고, 폭발압력을 분산시키기 위해 사용한 강재 덮개는 두께에 대한 그 영향이 뚜렷이 나타났다. 적절한 설계변수 설정을 통해 폭파하중에 대한 구조물의 위험을 줄일 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • 최근 대부분의 정보시스템은 웹기반 정보시스템으로 이주하고 있으며 이의 개발과 유지보수시에 "웹 위기" 현상이 발생하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위한 웹엔지니어링 기술 중 웹기반 정보시스템의 내부시스템을 재구성하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 웹기반 정보시스템의 내부시스템을 재구성하기 위한 폼 클러스터링 방법을 제시한다. 폼 클러스터링 방법은 기존의 소프트웨어 분할 및 태스크 클러스터링 기술의 개념을 적용하여 웹 기능구조를 실제 하드웨어에 할당하기 위한 최적의 응답시간 성능을 갖는 웹 소프트웨어 구조를 생성하는 방법이다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 폼 클러스터링 방법은 웹기반 정보시스템의 내부시스템을 신규개발 및 유지보수시에 적용할 수 있다. 적용할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 알루미늄 폼 복합재료로 된 DCB(이중외팔보) 구조체의 파괴 거동을 시뮬레이션 해석하였다. 시뮬레이션 해석에 사용된 모델은 영국 공업규격과 ISO국제규격에 의거하여 3D모델을 설계하였다. 해석 결과 모델의 두께가 두꺼울수록 발생한 크랙의 길이가 길게 나타났고, 높은 하중이 발생하였다. 이와 같은 연구에서 얻어진 해석 결과를 통하여 알루미늄 폼 재질로 접합된 실제 복합재 구조물에 적용시켜 파괴거동을 분석하고 그 기계적인 특성을 파악할 수 있다.

  • Results of the analysis of the structural behavior of axially loaded nodes in freeform structure were not fully understood due to certain difficulties, including the application of various welding and bolting types. In this study, a node of single layered freeform structure was tested to determine its structural behavior when subjected to axial loads. The tests were classified into node ball tests to evaluate the center of the node subjected to cyclic and monotonic loading. The node part tests were also conducted to evaluate the whole node subjected to monotonic loading. The test showed that the node ball is safe with the tensile force, but the node ball needs to increase its strength with the node loaded compressive force due to the additional bending moment of the node ball's asymmetric form.

  • This study examined the structural behaviors of foam insulated concrete sandwich panels subjected to uniform pressure. Finite element models were used to simulate the detailed shear resistance of connectors and the nonlinear behaviors of concrete, foam and rebar components. The models were then validated using data from static tests performed at the University of Missouri. Both composite and non-composite action had a significant effect on the response of the foam insulated concrete sandwich panels, indicating that the simulated shear tie resistance should indeed be incorporated in numerical analyses. The modeling approach used here conveniently simulated the structural behaviors during all loading stages (elastic, yielding, ultimate and post-failure) and was compatible with the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Code and existing design practices. The results of this study will therefore provide useful guidelines for the analysis and design of foam insulated sandwich panels under both static and dynamic loadings.

A Study on VoiceXML Application of User-Controlled Form Dialog System (사용자 주도 폼 다이얼로그 시스템의 VoiceXML 어플리케이션에 관한 연구)

  • VoiceXML is new markup language which is designed for web resource navigation via voice based on XML. An application using VoiceXML is classified into mutual-controlled and machine-controlled form dialog structure. Such dialog structures can't construct service which provide free navigation of web resource by user because a scenario is decided by application developer. In this paper, we propose VoiceXML application structure using user-controlled form dialog system which decide service scenario according to user's intention. The proposed application automatically detects recognition candidates from requested information by user, and then system uses recognition candidate as voice-anchor. Also, system connects each voice-anchor with new voice-node. An example of proposed system, we implement news service with IT term dictionary, and we confirm detection and registration of voice-anchor and make an estimate of hit rate about measurement of an successive offer from information according to user's intention and response speed. As the experiment result, we confirmed possibility which is more freely navigation of web resource than existing VoiceXML form dialog systems.

Characterization of Flame-Retardant Foam Asphalt (난연성 폼아스팔트 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study was carried out to prepare a type of warm mix asphalt. Through urethane foam and emulsion asphalt preparation techniques a protocol of asphalt foam was made. Then three kinds of flame retardant agents were added in there to alleviate the inherent susceptability of asphalt and foam material to flame and thus flame retardant asphalt foam was made. The internal structure of form asphalt was composed of open cell. The higher the NCO% brought the larger the cell and the stronger also. Asphalt increased the strength of the foam. Among the flame retardant agents employed tritorylphosphate was the most effective.

Effects of the Gas Flow Inside a CVI Reactor on the Densification of a C/C Composite (화학기상침투법 반응로 내부 유동에 따른 탄소/탄소 복합재 밀도화)

  • In this paper, the densification of a carbon/carbon composite during a chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) process is studied using a chemo-mechanical model. The multi-physics numerical model, developed in the previous research, couples computational fluid dynamics and major chemical reactions in the reactor. The model is especially utilized to study the effect of flow behavior around the preform on the densification. Four different types of "flow-guide" structures are placed to alter the gas flow around the preform. It is shown that the flow pattern and speed around the preform can be controlled by the guide structures. The process simulations demonstrate that the average density and/or density distribution of the preform can be improved by controlling the gas flow around the perform. In this study, a full industrial-scale reactor and process parameter were used.
