A Study on the Finite Element Analysis and Management Criteria by Applying UPRS Method in the Subway Station (기존 지하철정거장 비개착공법 적용시 유한요소 해석과 관리기준에 관한 연구)

  • To analyze the influence on the stability, resulting from application of upgrade pipe roof structure (UPRS) method to the structure existed under subway Station, physical properties of a ground, elasticity and elasto-plastic theories, including displacement analysis of finite elements, stress analysis of finite elements, displacement caused by steel pipe propulsion and internal excavation, and stress change in a steel pipe, were introduced. Then, the influence on structural stability when applying the UPRS method was compared and reviewed based on the construction management standard of the Ministry Land, Infrastructure and Transport and foreign sources, using numerical analysis with a model which assumes that each microelement divided into a structurally stable point consists of the connection of finite points. As a result of the finite element analysis, 7.21 mm maximum displacement, 1/3,950 angular displacement, 70.28 MPa bending compressive stress of steel pipe structure constructed with UPRS (non-excavation) method and 477.38 MPa maximum shear strength were within their allowable standards (25.00 mm, 1/500, 210.00 MPa and 120.00 MPa, respectively), and therefore, the results showed that the design and construction are stable.

The Structural and Electrochemical Properties of Li[Ni0.6-xBaxCo0.1Mn0.3]O2 (x = 0, 0.01) by Barium Doping (Barium 도핑에 따른 Li[Ni0.6-xBaxCo0.1Mn0.3]O2(x=0, 0.01) 의 구조 분석 및 전기화학적 특성)

  • Ni-rich system $Li[Ni_{1-x-y}Co_xMn_y]O_2$ of lithium secondary battery cathode material keep a high discharge capacity. However, by the Ni content increases, there is a problem that the electrochemical properties and stability of the structure are reduced. In order to solve these problems, research for positive ion doping is performed. The one of the cathode material, barium-doped $Li[Ni_{0.6-x}Ba_xCo_{0.1}Mn_{0.3}]O_2$ (x=0.01), was synthesized by the precursor, $Ni_{0.6}Co_{0.1}Mn_{0.3}(OH)_2$, from the co-precipitation method. The barium doped materials have studied the structural and electrochemical properties. The analysis of structural properties, results of X-ray diffraction analysis, and those results confirmed the change of the lattice from the binding energy in the structure by barium doping. Increased stability of the layered structure was observed by $I_{(006)}+I_{(102)}/I_{(101)}$(R-factor) ratio decrease. we expected that the electrochemical characteristics are improved. 23 mAh/g discharge capacity of barium-doped $Li[Ni_{0.6-x}Ba_xCo_{0.1}Mn_{0.3}]O_2$ (x=0.01) electrode is higher than discharge capacity of $Li[Ni_{0.6}Co_{0.1}Mn_{0.3}]O_2$ due to decrease overvoltage. And, through the structural stability was confirmed that improved the cycle characteristics. We caused a reduction in charge transfer resistance between the electrolyte and the electrode was confirmed that the C-rate characteristics are improved.

  • MABB(Editor's note: Please spell out "MABB" upon first mention)is a new structural type of arch that connects arch ribs and stiffened girders with two internal arches. In this study, the static and dynamic behavior of MABB were analyzed in comparison with those of conventional arches for the investigation of the structural effect of MABB on moving loads. For the purpose of surveying the effect of internal arches on the dynamic behavior of structure, natural frequency and natural vibration mode were investigated and the static and dynamic behavior were analyzed by the method of idealizing train loads as traveling loads consisting of a group of concentrated loads. From the results, the following conclusions were known. First, it is concluded that with MABB, decreasing the section of stiffened girders is possible as compared with conventional arches because the increase of stiffness by internal arches is larger than that of the mass of internal arches. Second, MABB has the advantage of assurance of stability of dynamic behavior because the dynamic behavior of MABB on moving loads is usually investigated in a more stable way than that of conventional arches.

  • Fer the purpose of improving ductility of $Al_3$Ti intermetallic compound has potential to industrial application, we investigated formation behavior of cubic Ll$_2$ structure and effect of Mn addition. Nanocrystalline cubic Ll$_2$Al$_3$Ti intermetallic compound, has 10nm size of grain, was fabricated by mechanical alloying for 20hr at the composition of Al-8Mn-25Ti. Ternary cubic Ll$_2$Al$_3$Ti, added Mn, did not showed phase transformation from Ll$_2$ to D0$_{23}$ or D0$_{22}$ unlike binary cubic Ll$_2$Al$_3$Ti and maintained Ll$_2$ structure.

A Study on Stability Estimation of a Orchard Vehicle using Multi-Body Dynamic and Finite Element Analysis (다물체 동역학 및 유한요소 해석을 통한 과수원용 작업차량 안정성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Because of effective fruit growing and management in the slope land, the use of orchard vehicle with lifting utilities has been increased. For this reason the study on the stability of that vehicle for worker's safety is needed. This study is investigated on the stability estimation of orchard vehicle with four wheels and dual rectangular-type lifting utilities which can be moved on the dirt sloping load. Through the multi-body dynamics analysis on the vehicle mechanism, overturning angles of 19.2 and $34.6^{\circ}$ in the right-left and front-rear direction can be calculated. It is determined tractive resistances and required powers of the wheels. And through the finite element analysis on the frame of lifting utility its maximum von-Mises stress is 146 MPa and it is structural stable. Therefore it is known that the orchard vehicle with wheels and lifting utilities has static and dynamic stability.

  • This paper presents a reliable numerical procedure for nonlinear time-history analysis of space steel frames subjected to dynamic loads. Geometric nonlinearities of member (P-$\delta$) and frame (P-$\Delta$) are taken into account by the use of stability functions in framed stiffness matrix formulation. The gradual yielding along the member length and over the cross section is included by using a tangent modulus concept and a softening plastic hinge model based on the New-Orbison yield surface. A computer program utilizing the average acceleration method for the integration scheme is developed to numerically solve the equation of motion of framed structure formulated in an incremental form. The results of several numerical examples are compared with those derived from using beam element model of ABAQUS program to illustrate the accuracy and the computational efficiency of the proposed procedure.

Structural Stability Evaluation of Eco-Friendly Prefabricated Rainwater Infiltration Type Detention Facility with Red Clay Water-Permeable Block Body (황토투수블록체를 적용한 친환경 조립식 빗물 침투형 저류시설의 구조 안정성 평가)

  • Recently, due to the frequent occurrence of localized torrential rains and heat waves caused by abnormal climates. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an economical and eco-friendly rainwater detention facility that can secure the groundwater level through rainwater detention as well as flood prevention against concentrated rainfall by simultaneously implementing rainwater permeation and storage. In this study, the structural safety of an eco-friendly rainwater infiltration type detention facility made using eco-friendly inorganic binders including red clay was examined. Static analysis considering the constant load and additional vertical load and dynamic analysis considering the seismic spectrum were performed. As a result, it was found that the eco-friendly prefabricated rainwater infiltration type detention facility developed in this study has a maximum stress of about 68.1% to 75.4% and a maximum displacement of about 0.9% to 9.6% under the same load and seismic conditions compared to the existing PE block rainwater detention facility. It was confirmed that the eco-friendly prefabricated rainwater infiltration type detention facility secured excellent structural stability.

전기화학적증착 방법으로 인가전압 변화에 따라 형성한 SnO2 나노구조의 전기적 및 구조적 성질

  • 에너지갭이 큰 SnO2 반도체는 빛 투과율이 우수하여 투명성이 좋으며 화학적으로 안정된 구조를 가지고 있어 전자소자 및 광소자 응용에 대단히 유용하다. SnO2 박막을 증착하는 방법은 Physical Vapor Deposition과 Chemical Vapor Deposition이 있으나 나노 구조를 가진 SnO2를 형성하기 어렵다. 전기 화학적 증착 (Electrochemical Deposition: ECD)은 낮은 온도에서 진공 공정이 필요하지 않기 때문에 경제적이며 빠른 성장 속도를 가지고 있기 때문에 SnO2 나노 구조를 효과적으로 형성 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) 기판 위에 SnO2 나노 구조를 형성시켜 전기적 및 구조적 특성을 관찰하였다. 0.015 M의 Tin chloride pentahydrate(SnCl4 5H2O)를 타켓 물질로 사용하고 0.1 M의 KCl을 완충물질로 사용하여 SnO2 나노구조를 성장하였다. 타겟 물질이 잘 녹지 않으므로 DI water와 ethanol을 7:3의 비율로 용매 사용하였다. 전류-전압 곡선을 분석하여 최적의 성장조건을 확보하고, $65^{\circ}C$ 1기압 하에서 -2.5 V 부터 -1.0 V까지 0.5 V 간격으로 나누어서 SnO2 나노구조를 성장하였다. X-선 회절 분석결과에서 SnO2의 피크의 크기가 큰 전기화적적 성장 전압구간과, 주사전자현미경 분석 결과에서 나노 구조가 가장 잘 나타난 성장 전압구간을 다시 0.1 V 간격으로 세분화하여 최적화 조건을 분석하였다. X-선 회절 실험으로 형성한 SnO2 나노구조의 피크가 (110) (101) (200) (211) (310)로 나타났다. X-선 회절 분석의 intensity의 값이 (101)방향이 가장 크게 나타났으므로 우선적으로 (101) 방향으로 SnO2 나노구조가 성장됨을 알 수 있었다. 주사전자현미경상은 grain size가 50~100 nm 사이의 SnO2 나노구조가 형성되며, grain size가 전기화학적 증착 장치의 성장전압이 저 전압 구간에서 커지는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 현재 국내에서 시행되고 있는 '4대강 살리기 사업'은 하천에서 발생하는 홍수 및 가뭄재해방지를 위한 다양한 공학적 노력을 시도하고 있다. 특히 안정적인 수위 및 유량확보와 홍수방지를 위한 보(weir)가 4대강 유역에 16개 설치되고 있다. 이러한 보 구간에는 고정보와 가동보가 복합적으로 설치되고 있으며 가동보는 그 형상과 운영방식에 따라 다양한 설계방안이 적용되었다. '4대강 살리기 사업' 중 낙동강 23공구의 강정보 공사 구간에는 원호형태의 측면 형상을 갖는 라이징 섹터게이트(Rising sector gate)가 적용되었다. 라이징 섹터게이트는 구조물의 높이가 낮고 수문의 개폐장치가 수문피어 구조물 내에 설치되어 경관이 우수하며, 구조가 간단하여 비체와 수류의 안정성이 뛰어나기 때문에 4개의 공사구간에 적용되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 강정보의 가동보 구간 2문 중 1문을 1/100 축척으로 제작하여 가변경사 개수로에 설치하고, 홍수 빈도별 상류 유량 조건과 하류단 수위조건으로 케이스를 정하여 실험을 수행하였다. 본 실험에서 사용한 개수로 장치는 너비 0.6 m, 높이 0.8 m, 그리고 길이 15.0 m(측정가능 구간, 헤드탱크와 테일게이트 부제외)의 개수로 실험장치이다. 측부는 모두 강화유리로 되어 육안관찰 및 계측 시 용이하게 제작되었으며, 순환식 유량 공급장치를 구축하여 수로의 하부에 설치된 유량탱크로부터 계속적으로 순환하도록 설계되었다. 또한 수로 하단으로부터 상단방향으로 약 33 m 지점에 전동 유압식 Jack screw 2기가 설치되어 경사도를 조절할 수 있도록 제작되었다. 유량조절용 판넬의 제어기판에는 디지털 경사계가 설치되어 있기 때문에 보다 정확한 경사도의 조절이 가능하다. 보 모형의 총연장은 53 cm이며 폭은 45 cm이다. 섹터게이트의 게이트부분은 직경 15 cm로 설계하였다. 문주부분을 포함한 모든 모형은 아크릴로 제작하며 레이저의 주사를 방해하지 않으며 투과율을 최대로 할 수 있도록 고강도의 아크릴을 가장 얇게 하여 중공형태를 채택하였다. 실험조건은 우선 보의 운영방안에 따라 게이트의 4가지 개방도를 설정하였고, 특히 평수위조건에서는 보의 상류부에 퇴적된 퇴적물의 세척을 위한 flushing 운영개방도 포함되어 있다. 홍수시에 대한 유량조건은 2년 빈도에 해당하는 유량을 수문의 비율과 상사법칙에 따라 설정하였으며 하류단 수위조건도 동일한 조건에 대한 값을 채택하여 적용하였다. 유동장의 해석을 위해서는 비접촉식 계측방법인 PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) 시스템을 채택하여 2차원(x-z 방향) laser sheet를 생성하고 주입된 particle에서 반사된 변위(displacement) 정보를 상호상관(cross-correlation)기법으로 유동장을 계산하였다. 또한 수리모형과 동일한 지형격자를 구축하여 3차원 CFD 프로그램인 FLOW-3D로 계산하여 결과를 비교하였다. 특히 flushing 운영방안에 대한 게이트부의 개방도를 세가지(30, 45, $60^{\circ}$)로 구분하여 모의하였고, 적절한 개방도를 제안하고자 하였다. 실험결과는 우선 4가지 운영방안에 대한 가동보 주변에서의 유속장을 파악하였고, 최대유속의 발생위치의 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 이에 따른 보의 바닥에서 최대유속이 발생할 경우, 하상보호공 위치와 거리 등에 대해서 분석하였다. 이를 통해 가동보 운영에 따른 다양한 유속구조를 파악할 수 있게 되며 구조적 안정성 확보를 위한 검증자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 향후, 가동보 운영방안 중 수세효과(flushing effect)에 대한 효과분석을 위해 게이트부 상류구간에 적절한 입경과 비중의 퇴적물질을 설치하는 연구와 상류부에서의 유입유사농도 및 시간변화에 따른 퇴적에 관한 연구를 수행할 계획이다.
