  • Recently, the building of an intermodal transportation system has become the most important policy in the establishment of a national-wide sustainable transport system. In the case of rail and public transport, an intermodal connecting improvement policy is essential due to the lack of trip completeness. In particular, high-speed rail has brought dramatic changes to the transportation system in Korea and the idea of high-speed rail stations as major transportation nodes to be linked to various travel modes needs to be analyzed in terms of an intermodal network. Thus, this study proposes a new connectivity analysis method to objectively and quantitatively evaluate intermodal connecting performance for high-speed rail in terms of an intermodal network around high-speed rail stations. Seoul, Busan, Ulsan, and Sin-gyeongju stations were designated for a range of spatial analyses; detailed connecting performance indexes of travel modes connecting high-speed rail stations, and the influence sphere of these stations are analyzed, except for internal transfer facilities. Finally, this study proposes a connectivity analysis method that applies the structural equation model and develops a connectivity index.

  • Recently, the cultural industry has become an attractive industry which is having a dramatic effect with the rise of Hallyu offering many possibilities for development. Specially, the marketing techniques employed by the performing arts industry started to change to respond to consumer tastes and demands like other commodity markets, as the popular performing arts industry began to receive attention as a promising industry. It is important to identify the behavior of consumers in order to actively deal with the demands and tastes of consumers that are becoming increasingly diverse and individualized. The performing arts market needs to recognize the importance of its audience and to apply appropriate marketing techniques. This study attempted to empirically identify the value of performing arts perceived by the audience and to investigate the influence of the relationship between the perceived value, attitude formation and satisfaction with performing arts. In order to examine the influence of the value of performing arts on attitude and customer satisfaction, a reliability analysis and factor analysis were conducted to investigate the dependability and validity of the measured variables. In order to achieve the study's intended purpose, the structural equation model (SEM) was utilized as the core analysis method. As a result, it was found that the perceived value and attitude towards performing arts have a positive effect on customer satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to be used as the basic data for organizations that plan performances to improve their marketing and promotion around the audience and for more specific and detailed research in the future.

  • The objective of this study proposes the new user's addiction model in 'Social Network Games' (SNGs). Research model is derived from the separation of two characteristics. First one is logical characteristics that includes 'Functional' (F), 'Keystroke' (K), and 'Goal' (G). Second one is feeling characteristics that consists a few factors such as 'Emotion' (E), 'Social' (S), and 'Affection' (A). For the pre-test, a total of 30 participants responded to survey in order to inspect the fitness of research questionnaire, roughly validity of the proposed model, and the direction of this reseach. After that for the main test, a total 300 users participated in this research. The final number of effective participants were 261 because 39 were insincere respondents and without playing SNGs who were excluded. Then we examined the measurement model by performing 'Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling' (PLS-SEM) analysis to test the research hypothesis empirically. The results of the measurement and structural model test lend support to the proposed research model by providing a good fit to the construct data. Interestingly, the model showed the significant effects of the interaction between eleven hypothesis(H1,H2,H3,H4,H5,H6,H7,H8,H9,H10, H12). Only one hypothesis decision t-value not supported that is involved the relationship between SNGs Addiction and Keystroke, H11(1.193). This research expect to contributes to an exploratory SNGs research to clarify the base of addition and will aids understanding of users' behavior associated with SNGs development.

  • Control of the temperature difference across a section is an effective strategy to minimize the hydration-heat-induced cracks for the structures where internal restraint is dominant. The domestic code, however, overestimates probability of the crack occurrence judging from the foreign codes and construction experiences of real structures. Therefore, the background of the equation presented in the domestic code was investigated step by step to examine validity of the equation, and, as a result, it was found that the equation is established on a basis of simple elastic model where the change of elastic modulus in an early age is not considered. An advanced assessment strategy was proposed taking into account the hypoelastic model which corresponds to an incremental constitutive equation. The presented procedure resulted in an increased crack index, i.e. decreased crack risk, the value of which depends on various conditions of the mix and structures. Also, a prediction equation of the temperature difference was proposed which can readily consider the effect of the curing condition and ambient temperature in a hand calculation. For further study, the assessment equation may be more classified to strictly consider the characteristics of the mix and structures if the analytical and experimental data are accumulated.

  • Ablative material in a rocket nozzle is exposed to high temperature combustion gas, thus undergoes complicated thermal/chemical change in terms of chemical destruction of surface and thermal decomposition of inner material. Therefore, method for conjugate analysis of thermal response inside carbon/phenolic material including rocket nozzle flow, surface chemical reaction and thermal decomposition is developed in this research. CFD is used to simulate flow field inside nozzle and conduction in the ablative material. A change in material density and a heat absorption caused by the thermal decomposition is considered in solid energy equation. And algebraic equation under boundary layer assumption is used to deduce reaction rate on the surface and resulting destruction of the surface. In order to test the developed method, small rocket nozzle is solved numerically. Although the ablation of nozzle throat is deduced to be higher than the experiment, shape change and temperature distribution inside material is well predicted. Error in temperature with experimental results in rapid heating region is found to be within 100 K.

  • The cable damages of the bridge structures induce very important impact on the structural safety, which implies the close monitoring of the cable damage is required to secure sustained safety of the bridges. Most usual available maintenance techniques are based on the monitoring the change of the natural frequency of the structures by damages. However, existing method are based on vibration method to calculate lateral vibration and system identification can calculate the axial stiffness using sensitivity equation by trial error method. But the frequency study by the longitudinal movement need because of the sag effect in system identification. This study proposes a new method to investigate the damage magnitudes and status. The method improves the accuracies in the magnitudes and status of damages by adopting the natural frequency of longitudinal movement. The study results have been validated by comparing them with the approximate solution of FEM. Thus, the relationship of cable damage and frequency appear with relation that the severe damage has the little frequency. If we know the real frequency we can estimate the cable damage severity using this relationship. This method can be possible the efficient management of the cable damage.

  • This work is intended to investigate how the factors of enterprise mobile SNS affect user satisfaction and continuous use intention through technology acceptance model proposed by Davis. To achieve the purpose, this researcher explored Information Systems Success model proposed by DeLone & McLean, Technology Acceptance Model proposed by Davis, and Model after Acceptance, and on the basis of the investigation, performed a study. For the data of this work, 9 enterprises, each of which has more than 100 employees and is located in Seoul, were chosen, and a questionnaire survey was conducted on their 276 employees who experienced enterprise mobile SNS. As a data collection tool, a structured self-administered questionnaire was used. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for applying Structural Equation modelling. According to the results of this work, three factors of enterprise mobile SNS-systematic factor (system quality, information quality, and service quality), user factor (personal innovation and personal familiarity), social factor (social effects and social interaction)-affected user satisfaction and continuous use intention through perceived availability, perceived easiness, and perceived enjoyment. Also, it was found that the direction of effects matched a theoretical prediction. And, it was revealed that the decision variables and mediating variables significantly affected user satisfaction and continuous use intention. Theoretical and practical meanings were discussed for the study result, and some suggestions were made for the issues of this work and future studies.

  • Although three types of the information security measures (technical, physical and managerial ones) are all together critical to maintaining information security in the organizations and should be implemented at the same time, this study aims at providing theoretical basis of establishing and implementing effective managerial security measures. The rationale behind this research objective is that it is very important to effectively perform the managerial security measures to achieve the target performance level of the technical and the physical security measures because main agents of practicing the information security measures in the organizations are staff members even though the technical and the physical ones are well constructed and implemented. In particular, this study intends to develop and propose the theoretical model applicable to providing the way of improving organizational members' intention to use information security technologies since the very intention to use them is essential to effectively establishing and promoting managerial security measures. In order to achieve the objective of this study, the factors critical to influencing upon the intention to use information security technologies are derived through systematically reviewing related theories and previous studies, and then the research model and hypotheses are proposed by logically reasoning the casual relationship among the these factors. Also, the empirical analyses are performed by conducting the survey of the organization members of domestic large companies and analyzing the structural equation model by PLS (Partial Least Squares) method. The significant results of this study can contribute to expanding the research area of managerial information security and can be applied to suggesting the practical guidelines for effectively establishing and implementing the managerial security measures in various organizations.

  • The thermal characteristics of concrete specimens were analyzed using cement paste specimens with artificial cracks. In order to understand the temperature characteristics of the specimen depending on the crack depth, the specimen was heated and the minimum temperatures of the specimens at which cracks appear were investigated according to the crack depth. It was confirmed that the surface temperature distribution of the specimen varies depending on whether the specimen is cracked or not, because of the single and multiple reflections of the incident energy. Furthermore, as the temperature distribution of the specimen reaches a steady state, the temperature data tends to decrease with the crack depth. Through the observation of the normalized temperatures, it was found that the temperature of the specimens obtained from this experiment reached a steady state after 10 minutes. At this time, the standard deviation of the normalized temperature is around 0.01 or less, and the temperature decreases linearly with increasing crack depth. This result is considered to be closely related to the area where multiple reflections occur in the cracked region. If the correlation between the crack region and the incident energy is analyzed for various specimens, it can be applied to the diffuse reflection of the light.
