Measuring Consumers' Value of the Functional Processing Diet Rice Using the CVM and Marketing Strategy (기능성 다이어트 쌀의 소비자 가치평가와 마케팅 전략)

  • This study is to estimate consumers' value of the functional processing diet rice using the multi bounded discrete choice CVM. The results is shown that householders are willing to pay 2,637won/kg, 2,983won/kg and 3,428won/kg(definitely, sure, not sure) for buying the the functional processing diet rice. Results also show that the estimate of the aggregated buying value of the functional processing diet rice is approximately 2,239 billion won in the definitely scenario in Seoul province. The marketing strategy of the functional processing diet rice is divided by the on line and off line marketing.

An Analysis of Relationship between the Level of Satisfaction of Domestic Products and Purchase Intention of Imported Organic Products (국내산 친환경농산물 만족도와 수입산 유기농산물 구입의향 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the level of satisfaction of domestic Environment-friendly agricultural products and purchase intent of imported organic products. To accomplish the objective of the study a consumer survey was administered for quantitative analysis regarding consumption patterns. The bivariate probit with sample selection model was employed for empirical analysis on the relationship. The estimation results showed that to increase continuously the consumption, it is necessary to improve the quality satisfaction compared to the price, and that it is also necessary to increase the reliability of the certification system and the awareness that the consumption is helpful for health promotion to increase the quality satisfaction compared to price. In addition, it was concluded that in order to induce the purchase of domestic organic products rather than imported organic products, efforts to improve the safety of domestic products, remove the risk of residual pesticides, and increase the reliability of domestic products compared to imported products are needed. Therefore, to reduce the proportion of purchases of imported organic products and increase the consumption of domestic products, raising awareness that the consumption is conducive to health promotion, enhancing the safety of domestic products, and providing accurate information on the safety of imported products are required.

An Investigative Analysis of Preference and Uses for the Angelica gigas Nakai - Focused on the consumer in the Seoul and Kyunggido Area - (당귀에 대한 기호도 및 이용 실태 조사 - 서울, 경기 지역의 소비자를 중심으로 -)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the recognition and uses of Angelica gigas Nakai. A survey methodology was employed consisted of 37.8% males and 62.2% females from the Seoul and Kyunggido area. The main results are as follows: The older generation have liked and eaten Angelica gigas Nakai rather than the young. The most popular reason provided for the preference of Angelica gigas Nakai was good health benefits. People indicating a dislike for Angelica gigas Nakai had little previous experience of eating this plant. The purchasing main place is appeared the supermarket and traditional market. Angelica gigas Nakai was acknowledged as having the following characteristics 'to do excellent nutrition' (3.82), 'natural food' (3.76), 'to doing for the anti-cancer and anti-oxidization' (3.70), 'good for anemia and women, diseases' (3.64), and 'good for anodyne and diuretic effect' (3.57), but was not associated with 'price is cheap' (3.02) and 'to difficult for buy' (3.10). Recognition and eating experience was low for Angelica gigas Nakai kimchi and rice bread, bread, sauce and healthy drink added with Angelica gigas Nakai, but the opinion of the taste appeared highly.

  • 새 천년을 여는 이 시대의 화두는 인터넷과 디지털이라 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 이에 발맞추어 디지털을 치과 임상에 적용하고자 하는 많은 시도들이 있으며, 특히 치과 방사선 분야에서 다양한 결과들을 실제 임상에서 많이 이용하고 있다. 또한 많은 임상의들이 디지털 카메라를 이용하여 임상사진을 체득하고 활용하려는 시도들을 많이 하고 이용하고 있으나, 디지털 카메라에 대한 정확한 이해 없이 일반 광학 카메라와 동일시 하는 생각으로 수많은 시행착오를 겪고 결국 애써 장만한 디지털 카메라를 사장시키거나 제대로 이용하지 못하는 경우들을 주위에서 많이 보아왔다. 필자도 처음 디지털 카메라를 장만하였을 때 많은 실행착오와 좌절을 경험했지만, 그 동안 수집한 정보를 비교 분석해서 얻어낸 결과와 실제 촬영을 통해 완성시킨 다양한 테크닉을 중심으로 이 글을 서술한다. 디지털 카메라를 소장하고 있거나 구입 의향이 있는 분들에게 유용한 정보가 되기를 바라면 6월과 7월 2회에 걸쳐 본 글을 게재한다.

  • 인터넷을 통해 물품 / 서비스 / 정보를 거래하는 것이 이제는 더 이상 새로운 현상이 아니다. 즉, 정보활용기술의 급진적 발전으로 인터넷을 통한 상거래는 시간과 장소 그리고 취급 품목의 제한 없이 필요한 거래를 할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나, 인터넷 쇼핑은 컴퓨터를 물리적으로 인터넷에 접속되어 있어야 만이 필요한 내용을 검색하고 주문하여 구매를 할 수 있어 21 세기를 바쁘게 살아가는, 많은 이동이 수반되는 사람들에게는 물리적 인터넷 접속은 하나의 큰 제한이 되고 있다. 따라서 소비자들을 이러한 한계를 초월할 수 있는 무선으로 인터넷에 연결하여 이동 중에도 핸드폰을 통해 쉽고 간편하게 그리고 더욱 편리하게 상거래 행위를 유도하는 것은 자연스러운 현상이라고 할 수 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위해 일본과 한국에서 이동전화를 이용하는 사람들의 특정을 살펴보고 1) 이동 전화사용의 주목적, 2) 이동전화가 편리한 이유, 3) 이동전화 형태의 선호도, 4) 이동전화 사용의 심리적 안정, 5) 이동전화 사용의 문제점 등에 대한 내용을 설문조사를 통해 조사하여 추후 이동전화를 통해 물품 / 서비스 / 정보를 구입할 의향에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 조사하는 것이다.

Comparison of Physicochemical Characteristics and Consumer Perception of Cheongkukjang (소비자들이 선호하는 청국장의 특성 비교)

  • To investigate major characteristics affecting the consumer acceptability of Cheonggukjang, the physicochemical characteristics and consumer perception of 16 Cheonggukjang samples (seven commercial samples and nine samples prepared in the laboratory) were analyzed. Overall, consumer acceptability of Cheonggukjang increased with higher contents of amino nitrogen and volatile basic nitrogen, as well as at lower moisture contents. Cheonggukjang samples with higher consumer acceptability showed higher purchase intent (%) and willingness to pay (won/200 gram package), implying consistency in consumer evaluation. Ideal characteristics of Cheonggukjang were lighter color, less water in the soup, stronger characteristic Cheonggukjang taste, sweetness and nutty taste, as well as less off odors, saltiness, and bitterness. The result of this study demonstrates the needs to improve sensory quality by considering the relatively low consumer acceptability of Cheonggukjang samples.

A Study on the New Peach Graching System in Stages for Efficint Marketing (복숭아 유통개선을 위한 단계별 등급화 체계 연구)

  • This study is to investigate and to suggest the most efficient roach standardization that is performed and is preferred by consumers to provide benefits for all of them. The data was collected to obtain information about peach standardization consumption and consumer preference, and marketing situation by using interviews from peach producers, wholesaler and retailer, and consumers for three years (1997-1999). The most important standardization criterion at present was found to be a weight among peach producers, a color among wholesaler and retailer and consumers. In addition, sweetness was ranked first among the producers, wholesalers and retailers, and consumer if sweetness were detected without running peaches. Especially, consumers preferred to purchase small amount with small package and presented sweetness as the most preferred criterion. Thus, it is necessary for peach producers, wholesaler and retailers, and consumers to establish the small package standard and to subdivide the present system into several grades for performing the two-way system which labels grade with sweetness and weight.

An Analysis of Consumers′ Preference on the Brand Rice (브랜드 쌀에 대한 소비자 선호요인 분석)

  • This aims is to estimate the consumers' preference on the brand rice using factor analysis, completed research on the consumption of brand rice revealed that the household supply in the Seoul area is increasing. An analysis whether housewives' preference in chosing the brand of rice was developed through the consumption experience and re-purchase intention investigation for the brand rice. Also the paper analyzed the consumers' preference using the logit and probit model. Number of respondents who participated in the study(95 %) totaled 1000 and the sampling method utilized was the multistage stratification and assignment abstraction. Results showed that the preference of housewives' depends on age, education and level of income. Such that as age, education, income level increase so thus their preference for brand rices also increase. Also the re-purchasing of brand rice is high when housewives have a higher educational attainment and prefers to go to work. Conclusively, the long-term sale view for brand rice is closely related to the economic conditions of a household. Hence, with the economic growth, there is a possibility that consumption of brand rice would increase compared to the ordinary rice. We can propose the following political intent from analysis of these results. First, There is a need for continuous public information as reinforcement for brand rice. Second, Marketing operation reinforcement could also be done for customer class security etc.

  • The conversion of the internal combustion engine vehicle to the electric vehicle is suggested as a solution to the problem of global climate change and environmental pollution. Accordingly, this study was started to promote the use of electric vehicles. The purpose of this study is to identify the basic background knowledge and current status of electric vehicles in Korea and abroad, and expand from previous understanding on which factors affect ones choice on electric vehicles by considering individual characteristics and context in detail. In the analysis, a set of demand forecasting models were constructed by grouping the respondents based on the household characteristics as well as the vehicle ownership. At the time in need for better understanding of the feasibility of electric vehicles, it is expected that the research can assist the promotion of electric vehicles. In the follow-up study, I would like to continue the research on the activation of electric vehicles.

  • 소비자의 기호가 다양화되면서 다품종 소량생산에 따른 대량 맞춤화에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 1990년대 후반부터 급격히 확산되고 있는 인터넷의 발달 및 디지털 기기의 확산에 따라 인터넷을 기반으로 한 전자상거래 환경에서의 대량 맞춤화 프로세스는 최근 의류 분야에서 주요한 경향으로 받아들여지고 있다. 대량 맞춤화 의류 제품의 수요는 인터넷 등 IT 기술의 발달과 맞물려 최근 개인의 특성과 취향을 고려한 인터넷 맞춤서비스를 기반으로 증가추세에 있으며, CAD 등의 테크놀러지의 활용을 통하여 디자인, 패턴제작, 재단 등의 자동 시스템을 도입함으로써 그 영역을 확장하고 있다. 이에 발맞추어 국내에서는 '디지털 패션 시스템'을 통해 3차원 바디 스캔, 3차원 컴퓨터 그래픽스, 3차원 Simulation, DID, DTP, 맞춤주문형 제품의 대량 생산기술 등의 단위 기술이 기업단위로 활용되는 등 가상현실을 이용한 3차원 가상쇼핑 등을 포함하는 기술로서 차세대 섬유패션 산업의 창출에 기여하고 있다. 그 중, 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅은 디자인에서부터 날염까지 전체 공정을 컴퓨터로 처리하여 기존의 복잡한 날염 공정을 단축하여 다품종 소량생산이 가능한 날염 방식으로, 대량 맞춤형 프로세스를 지원하며, 프로슈머(prosumer)로서의 소비자가 직접 참여하여 그들의 욕구를 최대화 할 수 있는 소비자 만족을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 대량 맞춤화 프로세스 중 하나의 단계로 소비자의 수요 반영하는 요소로 작용하고 있다. 즉, 디지털 패션 시스템에서의 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅은 대량 맞춤형 의류 제품에 있어 소비자 만족도와 직결되는 요인으로 분석된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 디지털 패션 시스템 기반의 대량맞춤형 섬유제품 및 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 적용 섬유제품에 대한 기초 평가 문항을 제시하고, 소비자 태도를 분석하여 제시하였다. 또한, 분석된 기초 소비자 태도를 반영하여, 디지털 패션 시스템 기반의 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅(Digital Textile Printing) 의류 제품의 선호도, 인지도, 수요도 및 구입의향을 분석하여 최종적으로 디지털 패션 시스템에 적용된 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅 의류 제품의 수요 경향을 제시하였다.
