Demand Analysis of Electric Vehicle by Household Type (전기자동차의 가구유형별 수요에 대한 고찰)

  • The conversion of the internal combustion engine vehicle to the electric vehicle is suggested as a solution to the problem of global climate change and environmental pollution. Accordingly, this study was started to promote the use of electric vehicles. The purpose of this study is to identify the basic background knowledge and current status of electric vehicles in Korea and abroad, and expand from previous understanding on which factors affect ones choice on electric vehicles by considering individual characteristics and context in detail. In the analysis, a set of demand forecasting models were constructed by grouping the respondents based on the household characteristics as well as the vehicle ownership. At the time in need for better understanding of the feasibility of electric vehicles, it is expected that the research can assist the promotion of electric vehicles. In the follow-up study, I would like to continue the research on the activation of electric vehicles.

Analysis of Sensory Properties for Chicken Meat Products in Multicultural Families (다문화가정 여성의 닭고기 제품에 관한 관능평가 분석)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the sensory properties of chicken meat products, such as color, flavor, tenderness, juiciness, taste, and so on, in multi-cultural families. Questionnaires were collected from multi-cultural families, for a total of 80 consumers. H-4, which contained 80.2% chicken meat ham out of the 5 hams was shown to score 7.00 of 10 points on the Likert scale compared to the others products (P<0.05). Loyalty purchasing of chicken ham showed the middle level, 6.50 points (P<0.05). Preferences for color, flavor, tenderness, juiciness and taste of chicken breast ham in South East-Asia showed higher values than those in Korea and Vietnam (P<0.05). The preferences of dakgalbi for sensory properties among multi-cultural families did not show significant differences. The color preferences of chicken mixed press ham showed higher values in South East-Asia than those in Vietnam (P<0.05). The purchase intension of chicken press ham after manufacturing was the highest, 4.12 points, for chicken meat products.

A Study of Consumer Purchase Decision and Determinants of Local Food in Anseong (안성 로컬푸드에 대한 소비자 구매의사 및 구매결정요인)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic information for future Anseong local food policy and local food activation by finding the key factor determining consumer purchasing for Anseong local food. First, we conducted a survey and derived consumer purchasing attributes for the local food. Logistic regression analysis was performed to find the main factors that determine the consumers' purchase intention for Anseong local food out of such seven attributes as 'excellent quality', 'safety', 'good for health', 'activation of local economy', 'low price', 'accessibility', 'variety of items'. The results showed that the most influencing attributes on consumers' purchase decisions for Anseong local food were 'excellent quality' and 'low price' followed by 'accessibility' and 'activation of local economy'.

A Study on Marketing Strategy of MIM Emoticon Using Customized Bundling (맞춤 번들링을 활용한 MIM 이모티콘 마케팅 전략에 관한 연구)

  • This study confirms the responses of consumers when the composition of emoticon bundles can be selected by individuals in MIM service. This aims to verify that customized bundling is a valid marketing strategy in the MIM emoticon market. Currently, the emoticon bundling used in Korean MIM services is in the form of pure bundling. As a result, Consumers must purchase an entire bundle even though he/she doesn't need to use all the emoticons contained in it. Some researches(e.g. Hitt & Chen, 2005; Wu & Anandalingam, 2002) show that when consumers value only part of the products or services included in pure bundling, customized bundling is much more profitable. In their works, customized bundling is appropriate when marginal costs are near zero. Information goods, such as emoticons, meet the condition. On the other hand, customized bundling increase the choosable options, so it can pose a problem of complexity (Blecker et al., 2004). And consumers may experience information overload(Huffman & Kahn, 1998). Thus, judgement on the necessity to introduce customized bundling needs to be made through empirical analyses in the light of characteristics of the product and the reaction of consumers. Results show that when customized bundling was introduced, consumers' purchase intention and willingness to pay significantly increased. Purchase intention for customized bundles has increased by 0.44 based on the five point Likert scale than the purchase intention for existing pure bundles. The increase in purchase intention for customized bundles was statistically independent of the existing purchasing experience. In addition, the willingness to pay was increased by about 2.8% compared to the price of the existing emoticon bundles in the whole group. The group with experience in purchasing pure bundles were willing to pay 5.9% more than pure bundles. The other group without experience in purchasing pure bundles were willing to buy if they were about 5% cheaper than the existing price. Overall, introducing customized bundling into emoticon bundles can lead to positive consumers responses and be a viable marketing strategy.

The Effects of Mid-program Advertising on Audience's Preference of Television Program (중간광고가 TV프로그램 시청 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this research was to provide an objective and scientific basis for the effect of mid-advertising on viewers' rights by conducting an empirical study on how mid-program advertising affects viewer satisfaction and interest from the viewers' perspective. The experiment was conducted on 210 subjects to investigate the difference between viewers' interest in the program and purchase intention price. The results did not support the hypothesis that advertisements inserted in the middle of television programs would affect the dependent variables. The theoretical and practical implications of the mid-program advertisements on the interests of viewers were discussed.

소비자의 신선편이식품에 대한 수요와 요구

  • 신선편이 농산식품에 대한 소비자 조사에 대한 요약은 다음과 같다. 1. 과실 및 채소류의 구입 장소는 대형할인마트가 $60.5\%$로 가장 많으며 연령이 감소할수록 대형할인마트에서의 구입 빈도가 높았다. 2. 과실과 채소류의 구입 빈도는 전업주부 보다는 직장인의 구입 빈도가 높았다. 3. 신선편이 농산식품을 구입하게 된 동기는 조리시간 단축, 적정량 구입이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며, 구입하지 않은 이유로는 비싼 가격과 신선해 보이지 않기 때문으로 대답하였으나 향후 구입 의향에 대해서는 $68.1\%$가 긍정적인 반응을 나타내었다. 5. 신선편이 농산식품의 구입경험은 $62\%$로 식품소비층인 30-40대, 고학력일수록 더 많이 구입한 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 구입경험이 있는 사람은 편리성, 신선함, 맛, 다양성 등의 긍정적인 반응을 보였으나 구입경험이 없는 사람은 익숙하지 않거나 비싸다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 6. 신선편이 농산식품의 구매 형태는 필요한양만큼 절단된 형태를 선호 하였다. 7. 신선편이 농산식품의 적정가격 수준은 신선 과실 및 채소 가격의 $110-140\%$를 가장 많이 선택했다 8. 신선편이 농산식품의 구매 고려 품질요인으로는 신선함, 위생, 외관 등의 순 이였고 이들을 개선한다면 지속적으로 구매하겠다고 대답한 사람이 $87.7\%$로 조사되었다.

Effects of IT-related Household Demand Characteristics on DTV Adoption: An Empirical Analysis Using Micro Data (가구의 정보통신수용도가 DTV 구매에 미치는 영향 micro data를 이용한 실증연구)

  • This paper empirically analyzes determinants of DTV (Digital Television) adoption in household survey data with IT-related household demand characteristics. To this purpose, we conducted a survey for the adoption of DTV to 1,000 households nationwide. In the questionnaire, various questions asking socio-economics characteristics such as age, education, income were included. Also, status of adoption and usage of IT services such as paid broadcasting, internet, and DVD were asked. To analyze the determinants of intention of purchasing, decision of purchasing, and the timing of purchasing DTV, we adopted the ordered logit, binary logit and multinomial legit models. When there is an order among groups, ordered logit was employed and when there is no orders among groups, multinomial logit was emplyed for the estimation. It is found that when conditions of other explanatory variable are constant, the more educated household heads are, the more probable they become early adopters of DTV. It is also found that other conditions being constant, the income level of households and IT-related household demand characteristics are very important factors affecting DTV adoption. Since the likelihood of purchasing DTV is much higher for those who know the government policy of analog broadcasting termination schedule than others who do not know, dissemination of the Korean government's digital broadcasting policy will affect significantly the adoption of DTV. And policy with various incentives ought to be employed to accelerate DTV adoption, because households with the older TV sets are more likely to purchase DTV. It is suggested that the Korean government should develop policy to connect both DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) and DTV since DBS subscribers are more likely to be an early adopter than non-subscribers.

  • It is pretty hard to sell the kids' furniture online because of the characteristics of the consumers that they will like to make purchases after looking at the actual objects and then considering purchasing them. In this paper, we made the scheme to boost the on-line malls of the kids' furniture market by collecting the consumers' intention to buy before purchasing with questionnaire survey, comparing it with the real data of purchasing, and analyzing the differences. We analyzed the visit number of shopping mall, the page number of views, page duration time per visit, and customer's shopping path by using log data from the children's furniture online shopping mall server. In addition, we analyzed where the customer's influx route is among online advertising. We found that there are requirements for the designs, prices, brand names, and practicalities by the consumers purchasing the kids' furniture online. To strengthen competitiveness of the online kids' furniture malls, we proposed that reinforcing the on-line experiences of furniture, the differential strategies for the products, ensuring the fixed customers are needed.

An Empirical on the Korean Cosmetics Satisfaction of the Vietnamese Consumer and Repurchase Intention (베트남 소비자의 한국화장품 구매 만족과 재구매 의도에 관한 실증분석)

  • Vietnam has a population of about 1% of the current annual growth rate of young population is more than half of the total population has the potential to be a total purchase. Vietnam as consumers to choose Korea cosmetics, attach importance to quality, reliability, origin and prefer excellent to high quality, functional and be relieved as the brand of the developed countries. Korean cosmetics are getting very popular and it is among the five largest exporter of cosmetics to Vietnam and raising the name proudly in current. In this study, the north of Vietnam (Ha noi, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Phu Tho), a resident of 20-60 as consumers. Survey research method has adopted the Internet and Survey period was from September 2013 to May 2014 was performed. As a result, the total 163 respondents was obtained. The study provides useful information for people hopes to advance through the Vietnam or companies, entered the cosmetics.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study users' intention on paid game items through language network analysis. The functional item buying group considered the capabilities and strength of the game character as the most important factor for the winning of the games while the decorative game item buying users considered self-satisfaction for the unique outfit of their game character. Moreover, they reflected their game characters as themselves and another ego.
