최근 스마트폰, 태블릿PC 등 스마트 단말기의 보급 확대로 전자책 시장이 국내외에 지속적으로 성장하고 있지만, 실상은 생각보다 더디게 진행되고 있다. 2015년 전자책 독서실태 결과 지난 1년간 전자책 독서량은 지난번 조사에 비해 0.2권 감소한 1.4권에 그쳤으며 전자책 구독층이 가장 많은 10~20대의 전자책 이용 비중도 줄었다. 이에 본 연구는 대학도서관의 전자책 서비스에 있어서 지각된 가치와 지각된 위험을 기술수용모델(TAM)에 추가하여 서비스 이용자의 수용 후 지속적 사용의도를 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 통해 향후 대학도서관 전자책 서비스, 더 나아가 정보서비스의 개발과 보급에 있어 유용한 시사점을 제고하고자 한다.

스마트폰의 대중화와 고성능화로 인하여 다양한 센서들이 부착되고 이를 활용한 서비스가 활발히 출시되고 있다. 이들 중 GPS 위치정보를 기반으로 한 상황 인식 서비스는 다양한 분야에서 킬러 서비스로 각광을 받고 있으나, GPS 위치획득방식 특성상 실내에서는 서비스가 제한되는 문제를 안고 있다. 최근에는 GPS를 대신하여 사용자의 실내위치를 파악하기 위해 NFC, iBeacon과 같이 스마트폰 운영체제에서 제공하는 근거리통신기술을 활용하는 사례가 점차 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 근거리통신기술 중 iBeacon을 사용하여 대학교에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있는 스마트 출석관리 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 시스템은 iBeacon과 학생의 스마트폰 간에 BLE(Blutooth Low Energy) 통신을 통하여 출석 정보를 자동으로 수집한다. 또한, 출석정보의 효율적인 수집과 실시간 확인을 위하여 발간/구독 기반의 DDS 미들웨어를 프레임워크로 사용한다.

This paper suggests prototype of dialog system combining VXML(VoiceXML) that is the W3C's standard XML format for specifying interactive voice dialogues between human and computer, and RSS(RDF Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) that is representative technology of semantic web for syndication and subscription of updated web-contents. Merits of the proposed system are as following: 1) It is a new method that recognize spoken contents using ire and wireless telephone networks and then provide contents to user via STT(Speech-to-Text) and TTS(Text-to-Speech) instead of traditional method using web only. 2) It can apply advantage of RSS that subscription of updated contents is converted to VXML without modifying traditional method to provide RSS service, 3) In terms of users, it can reduce restriction on time-spate in search of contents that is provided by RSS because it uses ire and wireless telephone networks, not internet environment. 4) In terms of information provider, it does not need special component for syndication of the newest contents using speech recognition and synthesis technology. We implemented a news service system using VXML and RSS for performance evaluation of the proposed system. In experiment results, we estimated the response time and the speech recognition rate in subscription and search of actuality contents, and confirmed that the proposed system can provide contents those are provided using RSS Feed.

The purpose of this use study is to evaluate foreign science and technology serials with reference to the result of interlibrary loan activity and to present the model of cooperative acquisition. This study was based upon an analysis of actual use data by library users and Interlibrary loan from March 1, 2000 to February 28, 2001. 603 titles of foreign serials which were composed of 459 subscription titles of I University Library and 144 cooperative acquisition titles in the fields of science and technology were analyzed. The study reveals that only 439 serials(72.8%) were used even more once and 164 serials were not used at all during 1 year interval. A relationship was found between rankings of serials as measured by use and JCR citation ranking. Based upon various aspects of use analysis, this study suggested effective techniques for managing academic serials.

This paper strives to shed a light on open access journals as academic resources for libraries and repositories. It also seeks the measure for the evaluation of information resources. It first attempts to draw outcomes and suggestions on the basis of the issues and implications identified through analysis into aspects of management, service, and infrastructure of repositories. For this task, research methods such as interviews and on/offline literature review were employed. Specific projects were analyzed via literature and website review, although not detailed in nature. Next, the paper discusses issue such as the current quality measures of OAJ. For this, a thorough comparison on the background, outlines and characteristics of the projects and an analysis of the specifics of each project were conducted as well.

This study is aiming to develop an evaluation model considering electronic journal's properties and terms of subscription. As the first step to develop an evaluation model, this study analyzed features of electronic journals and various terms of subscription through reviewing literature. Second, it developed the evaluation model for electronic journals by using proper evaluation indicators which were extracted from previous studies on the evaluation journals and considering the terms of ScienceDirect subscription. Third, this evaluation model was applied to the 99 journals in the field of mechanical engineering in ScienceDirect. As a result of the evaluation, it was found out that there were variations in the value of journals between in 2000 and 2007. Some implications regarding e-journal subscription were also added.

This paper analyzes previous work on publish/subscribe in mobile ad-hoc networks with respect to collaboration methods among distributed event brokers. Our experiments suggest that approaches building event delivery structures are suitable for a scenario where there are events of various types each of which is consumed by a few subscribers. However, these approaches based on independent periodic exchange of network topology information may fail to reflect the up-to-date information when building event delivery paths. For this reason they do not correctly recover a broken path caused by node mobility, which results in lower event delivery rates. This paper proposes a scheme for building and maintaining event delivery paths based on advertisements initiated by and hence propagated from the root node. This guarantees correct recovery of event delivery paths within each period. Our experiments show that, our proposed scheme gives a better event delivery ratio with lower overhead.

This study was conducted as part of a phased study aimed at closely examining the mutual ecosystem between creators and viewers through paying attention to the personal media environment that is in the center of rapid changes in the media industry and particularly exploring the areas of activity of the single-person or minority media creators who lead the mobile media environment that could be accessed, viewed and produced anywhere. In particular, this study aimed to not only pay attention to the situation in which the potential to expand professional YouTuber areas encounters the changing desire and demand of content service users who continue to become more evolved as time passes, but also examine the influence of the reputation of professional YouTubers on users' loyalty and subscription intention, examine the moderating effect of sincerity on the relationship between YouTubers and users, and demonstrate such relationship formation process based on concrete data. In the conclusion section, implications that can be drawn from the study results and suggestions for further studies in the future were proposed.

정보 접근의 편리성과 신속성, 검색의 용이성, 원문제공의 즉시성이라는 장점 때문에 이용자들은 전자저널을 통하여 정보를 얻으려는 경향이 강해지고 있다. K기관에서는 이러한 이용자들의 요구를 만족시키는 정보를 제공하기 위해 평가를 거쳐 전자저널 패키지를 선정하여 구독하고 있다. 본 논문은 고품질 서비스를 이용자들에게 제공하기 위하여 이용자들이 전자저널 재구독 요구를 할 때 영향을 주는 객관적이거나 주관적인 요소들이 있는지 연구하였다. 가설을 수립한 후 가설의 검증을 위하여 종속변수인 이용자들의 구독갱신 요구가 독립변수인 전자저널의 수록 종수, SCIE 등재저널 비율 등의 객관적인 요소 또는 이용자설문조사를 통하여 파악된 이용빈도, 이용의 편리성 등의 주관적인 요소와 상관관계가 있는지 여부를 분석하여 보았다. 분석결과 객관적인 요소들은 재구독 요구와 상관관계가 없었다. 주관적인 요소 중에서도 이용의 편리성은 상관관계가 없었고 이용빈도만이 재구독 요구와 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 즉 설문조사에서 이용자들이 이용빈도가 높다고 표시한 전자저널 패키지에 대하여 재구독 요구가 많았다.

The rapid growth and popularity of Twitter have been one of the most influential phenomena in the era of social network system and the mobile internet, which also opens up opportunities for new business strategies; in particular, PR and marketing area. This study analyzed use of Twitter in terms of user characteristics and message attributes. Actual field data from the Twitter for PR and Marketing of a representative Korean IT company (Company "K") was used for this analysis. Research findings show that overall corporate twitter users show passive attitude in retweet behavior. Also, users who have relatively small network size (less than 1,000) are more active in retweet than power twitterians that have big network size(over than 10,000). It is showed that the rate of retweet is higher in the order of recruiting, promotional event, IT information, and general PR message. In the conclusion section, practical implications based on the research finding are thoroughly discussed.
