This study aimed to assess trends in the prevalence, treatment, and control of diabetes according to the socio-economic level in Korean adults aged ${\geq}30$ years, using the 2007-2017 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data. Socio-economic status was assessed based on the household income. Multivariable logistic regression and predictive margins were used to evaluate the adjusted proportion of diabetes prevalence, awareness, treatment, and adequate glycemic control. During 2007-2017, the socio-economic inequalities on diabetes prevalence were observed in both men and women. However, the gradient of inequality increased only in men (p for interaction=0.034). Diabetes awareness, treatment, and control did not show socio-economic inequalities or increasing gradients in both sexes. Monitoring of these trends should be continued, and further research on effective interventions is needed.

Digital technologies in the digital image field are developing and changing rapidly while creating various forms of media environments. In particular, broadcasting image-processing technologies provide more realistic images through the development of multimedia technology. Consequently, the needs of flat image quality have been nearly met, leading to technological saturation. Currently, flat images possess the advantages of popularity and freedom from visual fatigue over three-dimensional stereoscopic images. A complementary technology for flat images is the stereoscopic perception improvement technology. To examine correlations between stereoscopic perception and colour attributes for graphic images on flat displays, we have conducted experiments related to stereoscopic perception and analysed the results. In these experiments, the colour attributes of hue, value, and chroma were applied at different levels. Next, the factors that provide the highest stereoscopic perception and their interactions were analysed through analysis of variance. Finally, this study defines the significance of colour factors related to stereoscopic perception by analysing the experimental results, and proposes a colour adjustment method for improved stereoscopic perception in graphics image processing.
In accommodation sharing economy, customers take a risk of uncertainty about product quality, which is an important factor affecting users' satisfaction. This risk can be lowered by the information disclosed by the facility provider. Self-presentation of the hosts can make a positive effect on listing performance by eliminating psychological distance through emotional interaction with users. This paper analyzed the self-presentation text provided by Airbnb hosts and found key aspects in the text. In order to extract the aspects from the text, host descriptions were separated into sentences and applied the Attention-Based Aspect Extraction method, an unsupervised neural attention model. Then, we investigated the relationship between aspects in the host description and the listing performance via linear regression models. In order to compare their impact between the three facility types(Entire home/apt, Private rooms, and Shared rooms), the interaction effects between the facility types and the aspect summaries were included in the model. We found that specific aspects had positive effects on the performance for each facility type, and provided implication on the marketing strategy to maximize the performance of the shared economy.
This study was conducted to find out the optimum fertilizer level for two job's tear varieties. Heuksuk and Ewon from local cultivars at 18 compositions of fertilizer levels. Plant height was longest. number of tillers and leaves were increased. stem diameter was thickest, 100 grains weight. stem and grain yield were heaviest at the compositions of fertilizer amounts with N-P$_2$O$\sub$5/-K$_2$O were 18-9-9$\^$kg/ (3-2-2) per 10a. Plant height. number of tillers and leaves. stem diameter, 100 grains weight and stem yield showed significant difference between grain yield and showed positive correlation. Judging from the results reported above, in optimum fertilizer amounts for N-P$_2$O$\sub$5/-K$_2$O seemed to he 18-9-9$\^$kg/ (3-2-2) per 10a.
This study aims to develop a predictive model to suggest a used sales price to sellers and buyers when trading used tablet PCs. For model development, we analyzed the real used tablet PC transaction data and additionally collected detailed product information. We developed several predictive models and selected the best predictive model among them. Specifically, we considered a multiple linear regression model using the used sales price as a dependent variable and other variables in the integrated data as independent variables, a multiple linear regression model including interactions, and the models from stepwise variable selection in each model. The model with the best predictive performance was finally selected through cross-validation. Through this study, we can predict the sales price of used tablet PCs and suggest appropriate used sales prices to sellers and buyers.
An artificial lodging was made at various growth stages of the soybean varieties Clark and KAS 100-3-1 to evaluate its effect on seed yield and other important agronomic characters. Results showed general increases in plant height and number of branches per plant whereas reductions in seed weight. number of nodes, pods and seeds per plant in the severly lodged plots. As compared to prevention of lodging, about 40 percent yield reduction was caused by the severe lodging treatrment. Furthermore, the most severe lodging before blooming resulted in about 66% yield loss.

Malic acid-catalyzed transformation has been developed to produce ginsenoside Rg3 which is increasingly in demand as a functional ingredient. The optimization of the conversion of red ginseng saponin (RGS) to ginsenoside Rg3 by acid catalyzed transformation was carried out using Box-Behnken design (BBD) based on Response Surface Analysis (RSM). The main independent variables were malic acid concentration, temperature, and reaction time. Conversion of ginsenoside Rg3 was performed according to BBD model and optimization conditions were analyzed. The concentration of the converted ginsenoside Rg3 ranged from 1.548 mg/L to 4.558 mg/L, and the highest production was obtained under the condition of reacting 1% malic acid, 50 ℃ and 9h. Consequently, The independent variables affecting the production of ginsenoside Rg3 were identified in the following order: malic acid concentration, reaction time and temperature. In addition, it was confirmed that the interaction between malic acid concentration and reaction time had a greater influence than the temperature.

The Science Month Festival which is held in our schools provides students with more access to science to expand their science base. However current Science Month Festival is recognized as a pro forma event without it's educational ideal. For this reason, the Science Month Festival has been criticized. This study was aimed to reconsider Science Month Festival by straining at the voices of subjects which were connected to it directly or indirectly. The results showed that every subject didn't make public discourse which makes mutual connections dialectically. Therefore, the voices of dissatisfaction couldn't make alternative plans to solve the problems. Finally, we proposed transaction between private and public discourses in subjects for substance for the Science Month Festival.
The influences of fertilizer treatment and clones of five willows and one hybrid poplar on above ground and soil carbon (C) accumulations in a willow bioenergy plantation were studied. The aboveground and soil samples were collected in the winter of 1992 and 1993 from the previously established willow plantation at Tully, New York, U.S.A. in 1987. Half of the plots were fertilized annually with 336kg/ha N, 112kg/ha P, and 224kg/ha K. All trees were harvested annually. The most productive clone, willow clone SV1 with fertilization, accumulated 5.4 and 6.8 t/ha/yr aboveground C contents during the sixth(1992) and seventh(1993) growing seasons, respectively. The average percentage of C in bolewood, bolebark, and branches for the five willow clones and one hybrid poplar clone ranged from 51.1 to 57.5, from 54.0 to 55.4, and from 55.6 to 56.5, respectively, among all treatment combinations. Only tyro of the six clones(SA22 and SA2) responded significantly to the addition of fertilizer by increasing the amount of aboveground C accumulated for the 1992 sampling period(clone-by-fertilizer interaction). No fertilization effect, on aboveground C content, was noted for the 1993 sampling period. No significant fertilization effect on soil C accumulation for all soil sampling depths(0-10, 10-20, and 20-40cm) was found in 1992 and 1993 sampling years. Little clone effect on soil C content was found in 1992 and 1993 sampling years, except at 0-10cm soil depth in 1992. The significant clonal effect on soil C content at 0-10cm soil depth could be because of stone content variation rather than clonal effect. The significant clone-by-fertilizer treatment interaction observed requires that evaluation of response to fertilization by willows be made for each clone individually.
