  • 여수권역 해양교통시설에 해양기상 수집 시스템을 구축하여, AtoN AIS를 이용하여 주변을 항해중인 선박에 해양기상 정보를 직접 제공하고, AIS 기지국을 통해 해양기상 정보를 수집 처리하여 연안여객터미널, 해경 파출장소, 유관기관을 해양기상 정보를 제공함으로서 도서민이나 해양에 종사하는 사람, 레져 인구에게 제공하는 서비스로서 해양교통시설을 활용하여 좀 더 안전한 해양 업무를 수행하고 사고로 인한 인명 및 물적, 환경적인 피해를 줄일 수 있도록 한다. 여수권역 해양교통시설에 6개 국소와 별도의 기상관측 부이를 설치하여 대기기상(풍향/풍속, 기온/습도, 기압, 시정) 과 해양기상(유향/유속, 파향/파고, 수온)을 관측 할 수 있도록 구축하였으며, 기상관측 표준화법에 맞게 센서를 검정하고, 설치하여 관측 자료의 신뢰성을 확보하였다.

A Determination Model of the Data Transmission-Interval for Collecting Vehicular Information at WAVE-technology driven Highway by Simulation Method (모의실험을 이용한 WAVE기반 고속도로 차량정보 전송간격 결정 모델 연구)

  • This paper deals with the transmission interval of vehicle data in smart highway where WAVE (Wireless Access for Vehicular Environments) systems have been installed for advanced road infrastructure. The vehicle data could be collected at every second, which is containing location information of the vehicle as well the vehicle speed, RPM, fuel consuming and safety data. The safety data such as DTC code, can be collected through OBD-II. These vehicle data can be used for valuable contents for processing and providing traffic information. In this paper, we propose a model to decide the collection interval of vehicle information in real time environment. This model can change the transmission interval along with special and time-variant traffic condition based on the 32 scenarios using microscopic traffic simulator, VISSIM. We have reviewed the transmission interval, communication transmission quantity and communication interval, tried to confirm about communication possibility and BPS, etc for each scenario. As results, in 2-lane from 1km highway segment, most appropriate transmission interval is 2 times over spatial basic segment considering to communication specification. In the future, if a variety of wireless technologies on the road is introduced, this paper considering not only traffic condition but also wireless network specification will be utilized the high value.

  • This paper handles the design of a real time traffic data acquisition system using loop detector and piezo-electric sensor to acquire the vehicle information EISA compatible parallel I/O interface card is designed to sample 30 I/O channels at variable rates for raw traffic data acquisition. The control software is designed to generate the traffic data informations from the raw data. The traffic data information provides vehicle length, speed, number of axles, etc. Vehicle types are detected and categorized into eleven types from the vehicle length, axles positions and axle counts information. The traffic information is formed into packet and transferred to the remote hosts through serial communications for ITS applications.

  • 지능형교통시스템(ITS) 구축 사업을 통해 수집된 소통정보, 대중교통정보 등의 교통관련 정보를 제공하기 위한 방법으로 교통정보 안내전화(ARS)를 적용하여 도로 이용자에게 교통정보를 제공하고 있다. 도로 이용자에게 보다 편리한 교통정보 서비스를 제공하기 위한 일환으로 교통정보 안내전화(ARS)에 음성인식을 적용하고 있다. 그러나 초기 ARS에 음성인식을 적용한 결과 음성인식 성공률은 상당히 높은 것으로 나타났으나, 이용자가 증가하여 샘플링 수가 증가함에 따라 음성 인식 성공률은 점차 저하되고 있는 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 충분한 샘플링을 확보하여 주기적이고 지속적인 음성인식에 대한 튜닝을 실시하여 음성인식에 대한 성공률을 향상 시킬 필요가 있다.

  • 최근 공공기관의 공공데이터 제공이 활성화 되고 있으며, 이를 활용한 응용서비스에 대한 요구도 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 현재 교통정보예측 플랫폼은 실시간 교통정보 또는 과거 교통정보이력을 분석하여 미래의 교통량이나 도착시간정보를 제공하고 있으나 날씨, 사고 등과 같은 미래 교통정보에 즉각적인 영향을 줄 수 있는 요소를 배제하고 있어 높은 신뢰도를 확보하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 교통정보예측에 영향을 주는 요소인 기상, 사고, 교통정보와 같은 공공데이터를 효율적으로 수집 저장 처리할 수 있는 저장방식 및 신뢰도 높은 교통정보를 예측할 수 있는 예측기술이 포함된 b-Traffic 서비스 플랫폼을 제시한다.

  • While public institutions and privite coperations have constructed the data collecting infrastructure and commercialized it to service traffic information, inaccuracy with information, insufficiency with the public sector, overapping investment and the rest are arising from the differences of data treatment, offering method, communication protocal and the like. For these reasons, we need standardization it as a national enterprise. In this paper, we would like to present the unity management and joint method of traffic information based on the present position of system construction and national ITS standardization. At first, we presented the relation between data elements and message sets and then analyzed how message sets have been used to message sets to share traffic information so far in public institutions and private coperations like Korea freeway cooperation-ITS model city-Cheonan-Nonsan expressway, In-cheon international airport expressway-Korea freeway cooperation and Seoul metropolitan police agency-Seoul metropolitan government. As the results of analyzing message sets, it had disclosed that data transmission is impossible or a system is unchangeable because data form and each items to transmission were different from each other and its own address and link IDS were not determined yet. Also it showed these message sets did not abidy by The Draft of National ITS Standards. First of all, we proposed data basic form and elements which were form by items used in each center in common and the elements to manage traffic information suggested by Standards based on the results of analyses.

Privacy-Preserving Traffic Volume Estimation by Leveraging Local Differential Privacy

  • In this paper, we present a method for effectively predicting traffic volume based on vehicle location data that are collected by using LDP (Local Differential Privacy). The proposed solution in this paper consists of two phases: the process of collecting vehicle location data in a privacy-presering manner and the process of predicting traffic volume using the collected location data. In the first phase, the vehicle's location data is collected by using LDP to prevent privacy issues that may arise during the data collection process. LDP adds random noise to the original data when collecting data to prevent the data owner's sensitive information from being exposed to the outside. This allows the collection of vehicle location data, while preserving the driver's privacy. In the second phase, the traffic volume is predicted by applying deep learning techniques to the data collected in the first stage. Experimental results with real data sets demonstrate that the method proposed in this paper can effectively predict the traffic volume using the location data that are collected in a privacy-preserving manner.

  • This study firstly developed a tool for evaluating performance requirements of automatic vehicle identification (AVI) techniques. A microscopic traffic simulator, Paramics, was employed to investigate the effects of AVI performances on the accuracy of estimating section travel times. Mote Carlo simulation approach was incorporated into Paramics to conduct systematic evaluations of identifying required AVI performances. The proposed method in this study can serve as a logical and necessary precursor to field implementation of a variety of AVI techniques toward achieving more reliable traffic information.

  • 본 논문에서는 가공되지 않은 축적된 교통 정보를 이용하여 교통 전문가와 교통공학 분야의 학생들이 손쉽게 교통 정보를 분석할 수 있는 통합 교통 정보 분석 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 도시 고속도로 내의 구간과 시간, 일자를 선택하고, 선택한 영역의 교통 수집 정보를 분석하여, 교통 흐름 제어나 교통 정보 분석에 필요한 다양한 정보와 함께 속도 및 밀도, 통행량을 이용한 등고선 그래프를 제공한다.
