한국데이터베이스진흥센터가 주관하는 2004년 제1차 공공기관 우수 데이터베이스(DB) 시상식이 지난달 20일 한국관광공사빌딩 지하 강당에서 개최됐다. 지난해 통계∙기상∙기업∙법률∙특허 등 5개 분야 DB 10종을 우수DB로 선정한 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올해 공공기관 DB를 대상으로 우수DB 6종을 선정했다. 이번에 선정된 공공기관 우수DB 6종은 재정경제부, 문화관광부, 산업자원부, 건설교통부와 산하 공 공기관에서 운영하고 있는 데이터베이스 가운데 건설교통, 경제산업, 문화예술 등 3개 분야에서 품질이 우수한 각 2종씩의 DB가 선정됐다. 건설∙교통 분야에서는 한국도로공사의‘로드플러스’와 건설교통부의‘건설교통종합정보센터’가 선정됐고, 경제∙산업 분야에서는 조달청의‘나라장터’와 한국은행의‘경제통계시스템’, 문화∙예술 분야에서는 한국관광공사의‘Visit Korea’와 문화재청의‘국가문화유산종합정보서비스’가 선정됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 올 11월경 정보통신, 교육학술, 과학기술분야를 대상으로 제2차 우수 DB를 선정할 계획이며, 자세한 내용은 데이터베이스품질평가센터(www.dbq.or.kr)에서 소개하고 있다.

This paper suggests a new approach for providing information for driver safety at signalized intersections. Particularly dangerous situations at signalized intersections such as red-light violations, accelerating through yellow intervals, red-light running, and stopping abruptly due to the dilemma zone problem are considered in this study. This paper presents the development of a dangerous vehicle determination algorithm by collecting real-time vehicle speeds and times from multiple point detectors when the vehicles are traveling during phase-change. For an evaluation of this algorithm, VISSIM is used to perform a real-time multiple detection situation by changing the input data such as various inflow-volume, design speed change, driver perception, and response time. As a result the correct-classification rate is approximately 98.5% and the prediction rate of the algorithm is approximately 88.5%. This paper shows the sensitivity results by changing the input data. This result showed that the new approach can be used to improve safety for signalized intersections.

기술의 무궁한 발전을 이루고 있는 현대사회에서도 전기 산업 현장에서는 크고 작은 사고가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 그에 따라 해당 장비는 안정성, 자율성, 내구성을 겸비하고, 무선 통신 시스템을 갖추어 위험 요소와 작업자 간 사이를 이격시켜 안전한 작업 환경을 구축 및 제공한다. 원격 제어 외에도 장비 자체의 결함 감지, 악력 측정, 실시간 영상 제공, 작업 데이터 저장 기능 등 다양한 서비스를 추가하여 제품의 완성도 및 실용성을 증가, 사용자의 작업 편의를 보장한다.

4차 산업혁명 기반의 자율화, 무인화 등 선박기술의 새로운 패러다임이 지속적으로 제시되고 있으며, 이는 자율운항선박울 둘러싼 주변 환경에도 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이 중 항만 및 연안 수역의 선박교통 안전 및 효율성의 확보와 해양환경 보호를 위하여 시행되고 있는 해상교통관제 서비스의 경우에도 자율운항선박의 출현에 대비한 사전 준비가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 현행 해상교통관제업무 분석 및 현직 관제사를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통하여 자율운항선박에 대한 관제업무 절차 마련을 위한 기초 연구를 수행하였다. 연구의결과로 무인 자율운항선박을 고려한 디지털 정보교환 체계 기반 해상교통관제 시스템에 대한 개념을 제시하였다.

인터넷의 급속한 확산과 전세계 통신서비스의 확장으로 인해 세계는 정보의 공유와 다양한 삶의 변화를 가져오고 있다. 교통수단의 발달로 전세계가 일일생활권에 접어들었다면 인터넷과 통신수단의 발전으로 인해 세계는 동일문화권을 형성하고 있다. 주체할 수 없이 수많은 정보와 서비스속에서 사고 있지만, 아직도 좀더 편리하고 안전한 정보의 공유와 윤택한 삶을 영유하기 위한 많은 문제점이 있으며, 이러한 발전 속에서 더 많은 문제점들이 나타나고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 다양한 해결책들이 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 본 고에서는다루게 될 내용은 전체적인 공개키 기반구조를 살펴보고 이를 디지털 위성방송 한정 수신 시스템에 적용한다. 공개키 기반구조에 대해서는 인터넷에서 사용자를 인증하기 위한 X.509 인증서에 대해 살펴보고, 인증서를 이용한 서비스에 대해 살펴본다. 또한 최근 각 나라별 공개키 기반구조 표준안의 진행 상황을 알아보고 IETF PKIX 표준안으로서 공개키 관리 프로토콜, CRL CRL 확장, 인증서, 그리고 인증서 확장에 대해 살펴본다. 곧 실현될 디지털 위성방송의 유료화 서비스는 가입자 인증과 서비스에 대한 접근 통제가 가능해야 한다. 따라서 가입자에 대한 관리부분에 공개키 기반구조를 적용함으로써 가입자에 대한 인증과 서비스 및 접근 통제를 가능하게 한다.

This paper presents a Driving Risk Model (DRM) based on driving speed choices using an Ordered Response Probit (ORP) model. The DRM is conceptualized based on the relation between speed deviation and the occurrence of crashes found by Solomon. The impacts of various driving risk factors are revealed by applying the DRM to evaluate the effectiveness of In-Vehicle Traffic Warning Information (IVTWI) in expressway driving. Regarding driving risk, the results show that: (1) the risk is lower among male drivers, those with more driving experience and those with less accident history, (2) the risk is higher when driving takes place on wet road surface, in the afternoon, and under conditions of low traffic volume, and (3) the risk is also higher on both downgraded and long curve sections. Additionally, the results provide evidence that provision of IVTWI can decrease the driving risk. The proposed DRM provides a solution for assessing the traffic safety impacts of countermeasures on roadways when there is a shortage of traffic accidents data.

As the amount of information is rapidly growing, and the ubiquitous urban environments are emerging, the question which information type to provide and which communication media to support is a major challenge for commercial and public travel-information service providers. The current research reports the first findings of analyses of recent data, collected in metropolitan Seoul, about the acquisition of travel information and the communication media used. The study is based on the assumption that information acquisition and choice of communication medium is strongly context-driven. The study applies CHAID analysis to find homogeneous segments in information acquisition and use of communication media. Findings indicate that transport mode and activity are important determinant of information acquisition and choice of media. The type of travel information acquired co-varies strongly with transport mode and activity. In addition, we found evidence of time of day effects. Similarly, the choice of communication medium depends on the type of travel information searched for, transport mode and activity. The results suggest important implications of managerial and policy measures, in particular the dynamic, contextual market segmentation.

새로운 세기를 맞이하면서 이제 새삼 IT(Information Technology: 정보기술)가 주목을 받고 있다. 급속한 기세로 세계에 퍼진 인터넷이 정보의 흐름과 ''물건''의 움직임을 크게 바꾸려 하고 있기 때문이다. 외출지나 자동차 등의 이동환경에서도 휴대전화를 통하여 언제든지, 어디서나, 간단하게 인터넷 접속이 가능하게 되어 바야흐로 시간과 공간을 초월한 본격적인 네트워크사회를 맞이하려 하고 있다. 모바일 단말과 정보통신인프라의 발전은 네트워크에 의한 정보취득이나 전자상거래 등의 새로운 정보서비스를 창출하여 라이프사이클의 변화도 일으키고 있다. 한편 자동차를 둘러싼 정보통신환경은 카 내비게이션 등의 차재 정보단말과 함께 발전해가고 있다. FM다중, 광비컨, 전파비컨을 통한 VICS(Cehicle Information and Communication Systems: 도로교통정보통신 시스템)와 휴대전화를 통한 인터넷 접속, 자동차를 위한 정보제공서비스는 이미 실용화되고, 특히 노차간 통신전용 DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication: 협성통신)를 통해 유료도로에서 요금을 자동으로 징수하는 ETC(Electronic Toll Collection: 자동요금 징수시스템)의 실용화가 임박하고 있다. 앞으로는 IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) 차세대휴대전화와 디지털방송서비스 등 보다 더 새로워진 정보통신 고속화$\cdot$고품질화가 기대되고 있으며, 이것들을 조합한 복합미디어에 의해 가까운 장래에는 차내에서도 다양한 정보제공서비스를 받아서 누릴 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

세계적으로 환경 및 에너지 문제 해결을 위한 대응방안으로 다양한 대체에너지원에 대한 연구와 관련 기술을 중점적으로 개발하고 있다. 또한, 인터넷의 보급으로 인해 그동안 축적된 정보들을 다양한 형태의 지식으로 웹에 서비스하고 있다. 그러나, 현재 국내에서는 기상 정보나 교통 정보와 관련된 단순 정보만을 제공하고 있는 수준이며, 대체에너지원에 대한 정보를 데이터베이스화하여 서비스 제공을 하지 못하는 실정이다.(중략)
