Plans for Building Construction Curriculum Operation Applied with Team-based Learning (팀기반학습을 적용한 건축시공 교육과정 운영방안)

  • Due to the effects of COVID-19 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, construction engineering education has been required to change. As part of efforts to respond to changes, innovative teaching methods such as team-based learning have been introduced, but specific measures are still lacking. In this regard, this study proposed plans for building construction curriculum operation applied with team-based learning, building construction course operation applied with team-based learning, and building construction course grade evaluation applied with team-based learning. It is expected that the proposed operation plans can be used in educational settings where team-based learning is to be applied in a changing class environment.

Enhancement of Transportation Safety Service for Foreigner Residing in Ansan Through Analysis of Travel Behavior and Traffic Accident (안산거주 외국인 통행실태 및 교통사고 분석을 이용한 교통안전서비스 증진방안 연구)

  • There is a need to provide appropriate transportation safety services to foreigners residing in Korea. The main purpose of this study is to enhance transportation safety services for foreigners. In order to identify the risk of traffic accidents, analysis of traffic accidents was conducted using a survey of foreigner travel behavior. According to the results of this model, the study suggests directions to achieve improvement of traffic safety services for foreigners who are unfamiliar with the transportation systems. The study results show that the risk of traffic accidents is influenced by two factors: comprehension of transport geography and of traffic laws. Necessity of policy is influenced by two factors: comprehension of transportation system and the risk of traffic accidents. Intention of using policy is influenced by two factors: the risk of traffic accidents and necessity of policy. Effect of policy is affected by the intention of using policy. The results also demonstrate that the traffic safety services for foreigner can be described as endogenous variables which are approximately 88% of the traffic safety education, 85% of the demanded multicultural district, and 75% of the portal traffic information. Compared with existing research, this study provides a systematic methodology to evaluate effects and the order of priority in establishing traffic safety policies for foreigners.

A Correlation Model of Traffic Safety and Personality in Elderly and Non-Elderly People (고령자와 비고령자의 성격과 교통안전 연관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore a correlation model of traffic safety and personality in elderly and non-elderly people. The correlation model is constructed by a factor regression analysis with latent factors and items related to traffic safety consciousness. As a result, it is found that non-elderly people with positive, active, perfectionistic, and unforgiving personality are likely to speed, have a high chance to be involved in traffic accidents, and tend to give low scores to traffic conditions. However, elderly people who are highly educated are likely to give high scores to traffic conditions and do not speed. Instead, elderly people become more likely to be involved in traffic accidents when they are engaged in more social activities. The results could contribute to developing traffic safety education and policy that is better customized to the specific needs of different groups of road users.

  • Rapid urbanization is rapidly progressing around the world, and urban problems such as traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and noise pollution are emerging, due to this urban concentration phenomenon, logistics and transportation costs are increasing. Urban Air Mobility(UAM) is a three-dimensional futuristic urban transportation that is expected to become an important transportation axis of smart cities as a service(MaaS) linked to roads, railways, and personal transportation. However, as of July 2023, research on airspace systems, Bertieport design, navigation, and communication for UAM operation is actively being conducted, but little research has been conducted on the concept of pilot education and training and education and training programs. Therefore, this paper aims to present a suitable plan for the domestic pilot training system through SWOT analysis of vertical takeoff and landing(VTOL) pilot education and training programs in the United States and Europe.

Severity Analysis of Traffic Accidents (교통사고 심각도 분석 연구)

  • 본 연구는 운전자 특성 및 교통사고 발생유형에 따른 사고 심각도(Severity)를 분석함으로써 교통사고를 유발키 쉬운 운전자 집단과 사고 발생시 위험도가 높은 사고유형을 규명하고자 하였다. 교통사고 위험집단 분석을 위한 운전자 특성은 성별, 차종, 연령 등을 대상으로 하였으며, 사고유형별 심각도 분석은 사고유형을 여덟 가지로 분류하고, 결과의 신뢰성 확보를 위하여 안전벨트 착용여부를 추가하여 상해정도와의 관계를 비교하였다. 로그-선형 모형 및 로짓 모형을 사용하여 카테고리 자료를 분석하였으며, 그 결과 위험집단 분석에서는 '20세 미만의 이륜차 운전자', '41세에서 50세까지의 택시운전자'가 가장 위험한 것으로, 또한 남자보다는 여자가 승용차, 택시, 이륜차 등에 관계되었을 때 위험한 것으로 조사되었다. 사고유형과 심각도와의 관계에서는 정면충돌 사고와 앞지르기 시 우회전시 사고가 기여위험도(Odds Multiplier)가 매우 높아 부상 또는 사망사고와 연계될 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 교통사고의 예방과 사고발생시의 심각도 경감을 위해서는 교통사고 취약계층으로 분석된 위험집단에 대한 교통안전 교육 및 홍보가 강화되어야 하고, 정면충돌 사고와 앞지르기 시 우회전시 발생하는 사고를 줄일 수 있는 방안이 연구되어야 할 것이다.

A study on the international trends and prospects in bicycle researches (자전거 관련연구의 세계적 동향과 전망)

  • 본 연구는 자전거 관련 연구의 세계적 동향을 파악하기 위한 것으로써 70년대 이후자전거 연구와 관련된 세계 각 국의 학위논문, 단행본, 학회발표논문, 기사 등을 분석의 대상으로 하였다. 이를 통하여 세계 각 국의 자전거 연구의 흐름을 살펴보고, 앞으로 자전거 연구의 추세를 전망하며, 우리나라의 자전거 관련연구 및 정책에의 방향을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 70년대 이후 최근까지 자전거 관련연구를 살펴보면, 주제의 양적인 면에서 자전거 관련시설(Facilities, 정책(Policy), 이용의 형태(Type of cycling)등이 전체의 52%를 차지하고 있으며 국가별로 북미의 미국, 캐나다, 유럽의 영국, 독일, 네덜란드 등 주로 선진국에서 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 시기별 자전거 관련연구의 변화추이를 보면 70년대 이후 80년대 전반가지 자전거 관련연구의 초창기에는 시설,(Facilities), 정책(Policy), 이용형태 등이 연구의 많은 비중을 차지하였지만 80년대 이후 점차 교육(Education), 타 교통수단과의 관계(Relationship), 안전(Safety), 등에 관한 주제의 연구 비중이 높아지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국가별·시기별 자전거 연구에 있어서 전체적으로 정책 및 시설에 있어 국가간에 비슷한 비율로 연구되고 있는 것으로 나타났으나 유렵의 경우 설계(DESIGN)의 비중이 높으며 북미지역에서는 교육에 대한 비중이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 우리나라는 총 61편중 90년대 이후의 연구가 전체의 74%를 차지하고 있어 비교적 최근에 관심을 가진 것으로 나타났으며 주제별로 보면 효과(Effectiveness), 정책, 계획 등에 관련된 주제가 64%를 차지하고 있다. 특히 시설, 교육, 안전에 관련된 연구는 매우 부족하여 자전거 관련연구 및 정책의 초창기에 있는 우리나라에 시사하는 바가 크다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 앞으로의 연구방향에 있어 도로, 시설 등의 기초분야와 더불어 안전과 교육에의 관심이 필요하다고 하겠다.

  • Student pilots receiving flight education are inexperienced in piloting and situation judgment skills and are greatly affected by various factors such as psychological, physical, and environmental factors. In particular, one of the most influential factors in the flight education of student pilots is the weather conditions. Unlike large aircraft used in the air transportation business, small aircraft used for flight education have a great impact on education, such as flight restrictions depending on weather conditions, psychological pressure in severe weather, and deterioration of student skills. Therefore, in this study, the meteorological characteristics of meteorological factors that have a great influence on small aircraft were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, an efficient and safe training operation method was suggested to a professional pilot aviation training organization through the adjustment of the training period for the season, the increase in aircraft operation rate, and a safe solo flight plan considering the weather.

  • 본 연구에서는 매년 달라지는 교통법규를 바탕으로 가상현실 기술과 IoT 기술을 활용하여 게임 개발 엔진인 Unity3D를 이용한 VR 기반 교통법규 변경에 따른 운전 연습 실감 콘텐츠를 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 소개하는 콘텐츠는 우회전 신호등의 유무와 좌회전 감응 신호의 상황을 학습환경으로 제공한다. 즉, 본 연구는 실제 도로에서의 교통질서를 바로잡고, 효과적인 교통안전 교육을 마련함으로써 새로운 교통법규를 정확하게 준수하도록 도움을 제공하는데 의의를 가진다.

  • Since March 15, 2022, the korea coast guard has revised the qualification standards for VTSO so that they can take the VTSO recruitment test under the korea coast guard without boarding experience to diversify their recruitment routes. By this study, we looked into VTS working circumstances and reviewed important provisions about enactment and revision of VTS regulations and VTS certificate system so far to compare and analyze pros and cons of each control task performance method by illustrations which are occasions in both home and foreign control operation. And also, I suggest ways to improve VTSO task in future make a VTSO credential demonstration system settle down successfully.

Analysis of Transportation Safety Policies among 81 Cities in Korea (도시별 교통안전정책의 시행효과 분석)

  • The previous studies on analyzing the effects of traffic safety policies are very limited. Implementing traffic safety policies in view of their own urban traffic characteristics would be fairly desirable to handle properly the traffic safety problems. The relationships between traffic accidents and traffic safety policies have been researched by classifying the eighty one cities in Korea into four groups in terms of the size of the city population. Statistical analysis have been conducted for traffic accidents data and traffic safety policies, respectively. In order to mearsure the effectiveness of the traffic policies in the real world, regression models have been developed by handling the accident data and policy data. As a result of analysing the data, the traffic policies have showed different effects according to the size of the cities. While budget investment policies had provided enormous influences to reduce traffic accidents in the big cities more than a half million polulation, traffic enforcement and traffic education have been so efficient to control traffic accident problems in the smaller cities less than a half million poluation.
