Model Matching for Input/Output Asynchronous Machines Using Output Equivalent Machines (출력 등가 머신을 이용한 비동기 순차 머신의 모델 정합)

  • This paper addresses the problem of model matching control for a class of systems modeled as input/output asynchronous sequential machines. Based on the feedback control scheme, we design a corrective controller that compensates the behavior of the closed-loop system so as to match a reference model. Whereas the former studies use state observers and the output burst for designing a controller, the present research needs neither the observer nor the output burst in controller design. We define the 'output equivalent machine' of the considered machine to describe the existence condition and the construction algorithm for the proposed controller. A case study is provided to show the operation of the proposed corrective controller.

WBAN Service Quality Optimization Design Using Error Correction Technique (에러교정기법을 이용한 WBAN 서비스품질 최적화 설계)

  • The power consumption of wearable sensors and electrocardiogram regulators should be very low to extend the network lifetime and anticipated QoS( : Quality of Service) control such as error correction and authentication of data processed by WBAN( : Wireless Body Area Network) nodes is important. Therefore, QoS control is the most urgent concern to implement WBAN in health monitoring regulations. For optimal QoS control, we compare the energy efficiency and the average number of transmissions with IEEE 802.15.6 and the error correction method considering energy efficiency. The performance of the proposed error correction technique shows that the energy efficiency and the transmission rate are improved by adjusting the coding rate appropriately using the channel estimation.

  • On-board IR calibration device has been developed for calibration of spaceborne image sensor. It is composed of a blackbody to provide two different radiance temperatures, tilt mirror with a function of stow and deploy to view the blackbody during the calibration and on-board calibration control unit to control the function of the blackbody and tilt mirror. In this paper, to guarantee the structural safety of the unit, the structural and thermal analysis including a thermo-elastic analysis for verifying structural safety on the soldered part of chips have been performed. In addition, safety margin of the chips on the PCB obtained from the conventional analytical method has been compared to the results from the FEM analysis.

Fault-Tolerant Corrective Control for Non-fundamental Mode Faults in Asynchronous Sequential Machines (비동기 순차 머신의 비-기본모드에서 발생하는 고장 극복을 위한 교정 제어)

  • Fault tolerant corrective control for asynchronous sequential machines (ASMs) with transient faults is discussed in this paper. The considered ASM is vulnerable to a kind of faults whose manifestation may arise during transient transitions of the ASM, leading to transient faults occurring in non-fundamental mode. To overcome adverse effects caused by these faults, we present a novel corrective control scheme that can detect and tolerate transient faults in non-fundamental mode. The existence condition and design algorithm for an appropriate fault tolerant controller is addressed in the framework of corrective control theory. The applicability of the proposed control methodology is demonstrated in the FPGA experiment.

  • In this paper, we study the problem of controlling composite asynchronous sequential machines. The considered asynchronous machine consists of two input/state machines in cascade connection, where the output of the front machine is delivered to the input channel of the rear machine. The objective is to design a corrective controller realizing model matching such that the stable state behavior of the closed-loop system matches that of a reference model. Since the controller receives the state feedback of the rear machine only, there exists uncertainty about the present state of the front machine. We specify the existence condition for a corrective controller given the uncertainty. The design procedure for the proposed controller is described in a case study.

  • This paper proposes a corrective control system to achieve fault-tolerant control for input/output asynchronous sequential circuits vulnerable to transient faults violating fundamental mode operations. To overcome non-fundamental mode faults occurring in transient transitions of asynchronous sequential circuits, it is necessary to determine the end of unauthorized state transitions caused by the faults and to stably take the circuit from the faulty state to a desired state that is output equivalent with the normal next stable state. We address the existence condition for a proper output-feedback corrective controller that achieves fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control for these non-fundamental mode faults. The corrective controller and asynchronous sequential circuit are implemented on field-programming gate array to demonstrate the synthesis procedure and applicability of the proposed control scheme.

단순 노외계측기 교정법

  • 노심 외각에 설치되어 노심 외각으로 누설되는 중성자를 검출하여 노심내의 출력 변화를 지시해 주는 노외계측기(Excore Detector)는 운전중 노심의 변화를 정확히 감지하도록 정기적으로 교정되어져야 한다. 노외계측기는 노내계측기(Incore Detector)를 통하여 측정되어진 축방향 출력편차(Axial Offset)를 이용하여 교정하고 있다. 기존의 방법은 노내계측기로 최소한 4회 노심 출력을 측정하여 최소자승법(Least Square Method)으로 상수들을 구한후 노외계측기를 교정한다. 여기서 소개되는 단순 노외계측기 교정법은 노내계측기로 2회 측정되어진 자료들을 이용하는 2점 교정법과 1회 측정되어진 자료들을 이용하는 1점 교정법으로, 계측기 반응상수(Detector Response Factor)를 계산한후 교정되어진 노외계측기의 출력편차를 측정값과 비교하였다. 위의 두가지 방법을 고리 3호기 9주기, 10주기에 적용하여 노심 운전영역(~$\pm$10%)에서 2점 교정법은 최대 1.40 %, 1점 교정법은 최대 0.63 %의 오차를 보여주고 있다. 단순 노외계측기 교정법은 노심출력을 1회 또는 2회 측정하므로 교정시간을 줄이고 제어봉의 사용을 억제하여 방사성 폐기물을 감소시키는 효과와 기존의 교정 방법과 같은 정확성을 기대할수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터로 정밀 계측기기들을 자동 제어하고 데이터를 측정하기 위하여 기존의 상용 프로그램을 사용하지 않고 Excel VBA(Visual Basic for Applications)를 이용하는 방법에 대하여 연구 하였다. 이는 반복측정 및 통계적 수치계산 등에서 많은 장점을 지니고 있어 수많은 국가교정기관 및 일반 산업체에서 유용하게 사용될 수 있으리라 사료된다.

Design of a Geometric Adaptive Straightness Controller for Shaft Straightening Process (축교정을 위한 기하학적 진직도 적응제어기 설계)

  • In order to minimize straightness error of deflected shaft, a geometric adaptive straightness controller system is studied. A multi-step straightening and a three-point bending process have been developed for the geometric adaptive straightness controller. Load-deflection relationship, on-line identification of variations of material properties, on-line springback prediction, and real-time hydraulic control methodology are studied for the three-point bending process. By deflection pattern analysis and fuzzy self-learning method in the multi-step straightening process, a straightening point and direction, desired permanent deflection and supporting condition are determined. An automatic straightening machine has been fabricated for rack bars by using the developed ideas. Validity of the proposed system is verified through experiments.

State Feedback Control for Model Matching Inclusion of Asynchronous Sequential Machines with Model Uncertainty (모델 불확실성을 가진 비동기 순차 머신의 모델 정합 포함을 위한 상태 피드백 제어)

  • Stable-state behaviors of asynchronous sequential machines represented as finite state machines can be corrected by feedback control schemes. In this paper, we propose a state feedback control scheme for input/state asynchronous machines with uncertain transitions. The considered asynchronous machine is deterministic, but its state transition function is partially known due to model uncertainty or inner logic errors. The control objective is to compensate the behavior of the closed-loop system so that it matches a sub-behavior of a prescribed model despite uncertain transitions. Furthermore, during the execution of corrective action, the controller reflects the exact knowledge of transitions into the next step, i.e., the range of the behavior of the closed-loop system can be enlarged through learning. The design procedure for the proposed controller is described in a case study.
