  • 현재 원격수업 교육 시스템은 21세기를 맞이하여 초고속정보통신망의 발전과 함께 사회전반에 크게 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 하지만 현재는 특정 업체나 단체에서 교육을 독점적으로 서비스하기 위해 웹 기반으로 서비스가 이루어질 학교에서는 자체적으로 특정 교과를 독립적으로 교육을 행할 수 있는 시스템이 없는 현실이다. 이 논문에서는 원격교육서비스를 통하여 학습자가 언제, 어디서든지 멀티미디어 데이터를 제공받아서 학습 및 평가를 받을 수 있는 주문형 수업 시스템을 제안한다. 공급자와 수요자에게 사용상에 특별한 지식을 요구하지 않는 사용자 인터페이스를 제공, 교육 정보갱신이 깁고 빠르게 이루어지며, 특정 교과를 독립적으로 서비스가 가능하며, 서비스상에 특별한 인력을 필요로 하지 않으며, 수요자는 원하는 시간에 자신의 능력별로 서비스를 받을 수 있게 된다.

EEPERF(Experiential Education PERFormance): An Instrument for Measuring Service Quality in Experiential Education (체험형 교육 서비스 품질 측정 항목에 관한 연구: 창의적 체험활동을 중심으로)

  • As experiential education services are growing, the need for proper management is increasing. Considering that adequate measures are an essential factor for achieving success in managing something, it is important for managers to use a proper system of metrics to measure the performance of experiential education services. However, in spite of this need, little research has been done to develop a valid and reliable set of metrics for assessing the quality of experiential education services. The current study aims to develop a multi-item instrument for assessing the service quality of experiential education. The specific procedure is as follows. First, we generated a pool of possible metrics based on diverse literature on service quality. We elicited possiblemetric items not only from general service quality metrics such as SERVQUAL and SERVPERF but also from educational service quality metrics such as HEdPERF and PESPERF. Second, specialist teachers in the experiential education area screened the initial metrics to boost face validity. Third, we proceeded with multiple rounds of empirical validation of those metrics. Based on this processes, we refined the metrics to determine the final metrics to be used. Fourth, we examined predictive validity by checking the well-established positive relationship between each dimension of metrics and customer satisfaction. In sum, starting with the initial pool of scale items elicited from the previous literature and purifying them empirically through the surveying method, we developed a four-dimensional systemized scale to measure the superiority of experiential education and named it "Experiential Education PERFormance" (EEPERF). Our findings indicate that students (consumers) perceive the superiority of the experiential education (EE) service in the following four dimensions: EE-empathy, EE-reliability, EE-outcome, and EE-landscape. EE-empathy is a judgment in response to the question, "How empathetically does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Principal measures are "How well does the service provider understand my needs?," and "How well does the service provider listen to my voice?" Next, EE-reliability is a judgment in response to the question, "How reliably does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Major measures are "How reliable is the schedule here?," and "How credible is the service provider?" EE-outcome is a judgmentin response to the question, "What results could I get from this experiential educational service encounter?" Representative measures are "How good is the information that I will acquire form this service encounter?," and "How useful is this service encounter in helping me develop creativity?" Finally, EE-landscape is a judgment about the physical environment. Essential measures are "How convenient is the access to the service encounter?,"and "How well managed are the facilities?" We showed the reliability and validity of the system of metrics. All four dimensions influence customer satisfaction significantly. Practitioners may use the results in planning experiential educational service programs and evaluating each service encounter. The current study isexpected to act as a stepping-stone for future scale improvement. In this case, researchers may use the experience quality paradigm that has recently arisen.

  • 최근 지능형 교육서비스로봇을 이용한 교육적 효과가 입증되면서, 유치원에 상용화가 시작되었으며, 2010년에는 초등학교 방과후 학교 영어수업을 위한 기술 개발과 필드 적용 연구가 진행되어 로봇보조학습, 즉 서비스로봇에 의한 r-Learning 패러다임의 본격적인 도래를 예고하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교육용 로봇의 개념과 종류를 정의하고, 관련 연구 동향을 살펴보았다.

  • 현시대 온라인 사용자들에게 각광받고 있는 형태의 웹기반 서비스의 한 형태인 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 동창모임, 지역모임 등의 다양한 현실 인간관계를 기반으로 한 사용자간의 매칭 기능을 제공하고 있다. 이러한 매칭 기능을 바탕으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 개인의 일상을 공유하는 용도로 사용되고 있다. 이와는 별도로 학습관리시스템은 대학이상의 고등교육 현장에서 사용되어 학습자의 학습 내용 및 그에 대한 교수자의 피드백을 주기 위한 용도로 이용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 특성과 학습관리 시스템을 융합하여 학교현장 및 평생교육 관점에서 활용 가능한 소셜 네트워크 서비스기반의 사용자 협업형 학습관리시스템의 구조를 제시한다.

  • As recent developing computing environments, service is provided without time or place's limitation, and it is constituted dynamically. Above all, in terms of education supporting system, there is need to conceive user's information and provide optimal service as to right with applying context awareness under Ubiquitous computing environment. It should have groundwork based on user location and time. It is requires service providing based on user location under the condition of class to offer appropriate service with the context. In addition, context information providing technology is needed to offer right education support service in the class, where are different context information. Hence, in this research it is suggested education supporting system to provide context-based for instructor. The framework of this system has a foundation within previous work about Multi-agent based Distributed Framework. To examine implementation of context-based education supporting system in Ubiquitous computing environments suggested by this report, arranging system can fit information relates to instructor's location for service applying in the class.

The Impact of Service quality in Entrepreneurial education on the Self-efficacy, the Achievement need and the Satisfaction of Entrepreneurial Education : Focusing on the Entrepreneurial Education of Internet Shopping Mall (창업교육 서비스 품질이 자기효능감, 기대 성취욕구 및 교육만족도에 미치는 영향 : 인터넷 쇼핑몰 창업교육을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships among service quality, self-efficacy, achievement need, and satisfaction in internet shopping mall entrepreneurial education. In this research, service quality consists of four factors including curriculum(lecturer expertise, distinction, and diversity of curricula), type(theory-oriented and practice-oriented), and administration(operation, facility and networking). First, this study investigated how service quality affected both self-efficacy and achievement need, second analyzed how both self-efficacy and achievement need influenced the satisfaction in internet shopping mall entrepreneurial education. The data were obtained from a questionnaire handed out to a random sample of 129 individuals that Cafe 24 in progress in the shopping mall entrepreneurial education. With the information obtained, and after the scales validation process, a structural equation analysis has been conducted. The analysis results indicate that service quality affects both self-efficacy and achievement need. According to the analysis, first, expertise, distinction and operation affect self-efficacy, second both expertise and operation affect achievement need. In addition, the results show that self-efficacy and achievement need influenced the satisfaction of entrepreneurial education. Finally, based in the findings of this study, theoretical contribution and managerial implications are discussed.

  • 인터넷이나 정보 기술을 활용하여 다양한 사이버교육 서비스를 개발하고자 하는 움직임이 국내 컨텐트 업체, ISP, 교육 기관 등을 중심으로 빠른 속도로 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 사이버교육 시스템 혹은 서비스 구축을 지원하기 위해 개발된 사이버교육 프레임워크에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 이를 위해 다양한 사이버교육 서비스들의 특성을 분석하였으며 이들이 공통적으로 필요로 하는 기능들을 정의하고 정의된 기능들은 인터넷 환경에서 구현하였다. 또한, 프레임워크를 이용하여 새로운 교육 서비스를 손쉽게 개발할 수 있도록 웹기반의 환경 설정 인터페이스를 지원한다. 사이버교육 프레임워크는 IEEE LTSA (Learning Technology Standards Architecture)에서 정의하고 있는 기본 개념, 구성요소, 동작 시나리오를 반영하여 개발되었다.

  • 국제적으로 관심이 증가되고 있는 지구 온난화와 환경문제는 제조업체, 유통업체, 서비스업체 뿐만 아니라 교육현장에 있어서도 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 창의성 증진에 대한 기대로 성장하고 있는 로봇교육은 OECD 및 EU 국가정부의 환경영향 카테고리인 유독성, 비에너지 자원고갈의 문제와 연결된다. 본 논문에서는 r-Learning을 위한 교구로봇교육에서 환경이슈를 고려하는 미래지향적 Green UCR(User Created Robots)에 대한 이론적 개념을 정립하고자 한다. 그리고 교과부에서는 '친환경 그린스쿨 조성사업'을 추진하고 있는데, 창의성 증진뿐만 아니라 환경보호에 대한 인지적 교육 효과가 매우 큰 초등학교의 Green 로봇교육은 제대로 조명받고 있지 못하는 실정이다. 이에 국내외 Green 로봇 제품 및 교육 현황을 살펴보고, 국내의 초등 방과후학교 로봇교실에서의 연간 전국 건전지 사용실태 추정수치와 교사의 Green UCR에 대한 이슈를 조사하여 제시하고자 한다. 마지막으로 이를 토대로 업체, 교육기관, 정부를 위한 그린 UCR 교육 서비스를 위한 가이드라인을 제시한다.

Influences of Coffee Education Service Quality on Educational Satisfaction, Intention to Recommend, and Job Preparatory Behavior : Focusing on Job Searchers in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry (커피교육서비스 품질이 교육만족도, 추천의도, 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향 :관광·외식분야 취업준비생을 대상으로)

  • This study aims to verify the influence of coffee education service quality recognized by trainees wishing to get a job at coffee-related companies on job preparation behavior through education satisfaction and recommendation intention. In order to achieve the research purpose, this study posited five research hypotheses based on relative literature and also established a research model with the five hypotheses. This study shows the following research results. First, the study found that coffee education service quality had a positive and significant impact on education satisfaction. Second, the study found that educational satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on recommendation intention. Third, the study found that educational satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on job preparation behavior. Fourth, the study found that education satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on the effect of coffee education service quality on recommendation intention. Fifth, the study found that education satisfaction had a positive and significant impact on the effect of coffee education service quality on employment recommendation intention. Such findings of this study imply practical suggestions that the characteristics of a wide range of trainees in the study of coffee education service quality and satisfaction, and provide practical suggestions to help improve the future direction of education services and competitiveness of coffee education institutions.

Service Learning: A New Approach in Science Education to Address Environmental Challenges (서비스 러닝: 환경문제를 다루기 위한 과학교육의 새로운 접근)

  • Researchers in science education have recently focused on service learning as an important educational approach to address environmental challenges including climate change. However, there are a limited number of studies focused on service learning in science education in Korea. In this study, based on existing related literature, the theoretical background of service learning is introduced and a conceptual framework that can be applied in the science education environment in Korea as a new approach to address environmental challenges is proposed. Given this, 112 relevant academic documents collected by searching a global database were analyzed. As a result, the theoretical background of service learning rooted in Dewey's experiential learning is introduced. Specifically, service learning is defined as a form of experiential learning that supports students in helping communities with structured services related to learning content, while at the same time fostering their in-depth understanding of content and engaging in civic and social responsibility as members of their community. In addition, a conceptual framework for service learning to address environmental challenges that can be applied to the science education environment in Korea is proposed. The proposed framework classifies the members of service learning into schools, students, and communities, and presents knowledge, experience, and learning through critical reflection as its core elements. It is important to actively implement service learning in science education to address various environmental challenges including climate change, biodiversity loss, air pollution, and deforestation, as just a few pressing challenges. Therefore, based on the proposed conceptual framework for service learning, studies that apply and verify diverse forms of educational approaches to addressing environmental challenges in local communities at school sites are needed.
