Trends in Health across Educational Groups (교육집단별 건강 추세에 대한 분석)

  • This study examines whether educational differentials in health are greater in more recent cohorts in Korea. This study utilizes latent growth-curve modeling to examine intercohort trends in health for three educational subgroups, using panel data (2003-2007) based on a national probability sample of 9,639 adults. Among young and middle adults with less than a high school diploma, the 4-year newer cohort demonstrated better health at the same age, implying a favorable trend. Middle and older adults with college level and a high school diploma also enjoyed favorable trends in health. This study suggests the possibility that the education-based overall disparity in health is increasing, but there are variations in the trend depending on age group. The increasing disparity mainly occurred among older adults.

A Study on the Activation Plan for the Participation in Citizen Participation Education by Types of Lifelong Education Participation : Focusing on Chungcheongnam-do (평생교육 참여유형별 시민참여교육 참여 활성화 방안에 관한 연구: 충청남도를 중심으로)

  • This study used data from '2016 Chungnam Citizens' Lifelong Education Needs Survey'. This analyzed the basic situation of Citizen Participation Education. It also typifies the interest and participation intention of lifelong education by region, and compared the interest and participation intention of Citizen Participation Education. Through this, we intend to provide concrete basic data for activating the Citizen Participation Education in Chungnam. We analyzed data of 4,108 people in 2016 lifelong education needs survey. This was named enjoy learning type, bias earning type, and elderly learning type. Second, the enjoy learning type group is a group that enjoys participating throughout lifelong education area. bias earning type group is a group that perceives that lifelong education is limited to vocational ability education, culture art education, and liberal arts education. These are groups that are interested and participating only in three areas. The elderly learning type group is a group that shows typical characteristics of the elderly learners and is a group that is concentrated on participation in culture arts education. Third, enjoy learning type group is the second most experienced participant. They are the group with the highest participation interest and participation intention. bias earning type group is the group with the highest participation experience. They are also the second highest group of participating interests and willingness to participate. elderly learning type group is the group with lowest participation experience, participation interest, and participation intention. Finally, we suggest the ways to revitalize Citizen Participation Education in lifelong education.

Evaluation of Effectiveness of Vegetable-related Nutrition Education for Elementary School Students (초등학생 대상 채소 관련 영양교육의 효과 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of vegetable-related nutrition education for fourth grade elementary school students in Gyeongnam province. A comparative analysis of nutritional knowledge on vegetables, vegetable preferences, and vegetable intake in school foodservices were assessed between a control group and an experimental group. The control and experimental group contained 62 and 67 students, respectively, and the experimental group received nutritional education in four sessions (40 minutes each session) per week. A self-administered survey was conducted before and after this education, and 122 questionnaires (for 61 members of the experimental group and 61 members of control group) were analyzed. In the experimental group, there was a significant (p<0.001) increase in vegetable-related nutrition knowledge (form 5.02 to 6.10 out of a total score of 9), while there were no significant differences in the control group. Vegetable preference scores also significantly (p<0.001) increased (from 3.44 to 3.85 on the 5-point Likert scale) in experimental group, while there were no significant difference in control group. We also observed a significant (p<0.001) increase in vegetable intake from school foodservices (89.34% to 95.49%) in the experimental group, but there were no significant differences in the control group. In conclusion, a vegetable-related nutrition education for fourth grade elementary school students was effective at improving the nutritional knowledge of vegetables, vegetable preferences, and vegetable intake from school foodservices. Therefore, to encourage the vegetable-related right dietary habits, sustainable, and systematic nutrition education programs should be implemented for elementary students.

학습양식에 따른 집단 구성이 수학 성취도와 태도에 미치는 효과

  • 본 연구는 중학생을 대상으로 협동 학습에서 사용하고 있는 기존의 집단 구성과는 달리 학생들의 학습 양식에 따라 집단을 구성하여 협동 학습의 효과성을 보이고자 하였다. 학습양식(Learning Style)에 따라 집단을 구성한 협동 학습의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습양식에 따라 구성한 협동 학습 집단( I, II, III, IV)이 일반학습 집단(V)에 비하여 수학 성취도에 있어서 유의한 효과를 보였다(p<.001). 둘째, 학습양식에 따라 구성한 협동 학습 집단( I, II, III, IV)이 일반학습 집단에 비하여 수학에 대한 긍정적인 태도로의 변화가 있었다(p<.001).

A Study on the Effects of the Home-Linked Indirect Smoking Prevention Program for Early Childhood (유아기 간접흡연예방 가정연계교육 프로그램의 효과)

  • This study was conducted to prove the effectiveness of home-linked indirect smoking prevention education in early childhood in improving the awareness, skills, attitudes and willingness to protect themselves from smoking. 208 5-year-old children were recruited from three kindergartens located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Children in the experimental group received home-linked indirect smoking prevention education. Children in the comparative group, received indirect smoking prevention education in kindergarten. Children in the control group received general health education. The results revealed that all groups showed significant differences between pretest and posttest in awareness of second-smoke, attitudes and willingness to stop smoking. However, the skills to protect oneself from second-smoke showed a significant difference in the experimental group and the comparative group. The values of changes among the groups showed high increases in the order of experimental, comparative, and control groups. This shows that home-linked education had considerable positive effects on indirect smoking prevention.

  • The study aims to develop teaching and learning media to raise up learners' interests and understanding during clothing class by providing a clothing swatch materials and its guide for applying to the unit of clothing in technology and home economics subject in middle school. To do so, clothing swatch materials, study sheet and guide were developed, applied and then analyzed for their effects. In this study, in order to figure out effects of class using clothing swatch materials on learning interest, learning necessity, learning understanding and academic achievements, the experiment was conducted for comparing and analyzing the learning interest, learning acceptance attitude and academic achievement between experiment group with using clothing swatch materials and control group without using the materials. The results of the study are as follows: First, the experiment group using clothing swatch materials shows higher learning interest than the control group without materials. Second, the experiment group showed higher learning acceptance attitude than the control group. Third, the experiment group achieved higher academic accomplishments than the control group.

스타트업부동산창업자의 기업가정신이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 창업교육의 조절효과를 중심으로

  • 본 연구는 스타트업 부동산 창업자의 기업가정신이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이들 사이에 창업교육이 조절효과를 갖는지를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 스타트업 부동산 창업자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, SPSS 18.ok를 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스타트업 창업자의 성취욕구와 벤처선호는 종속변수인 경영성과와 유의하였으며 정(+)의 방향으로 나타났다. 이는 성취욕구가 높거나 벤처를 선호하는 창업가는 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 창업교육의 조절효과는 성취욕구에서 나타났으며, 이를 다시 창업교육유무로 집단을 나누어 분석한 결과 창업지도사 교육을 받은 집단이 받지 않은 집단보다 베타(${\beta}$)가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 다시말하면, 창업교육을 받은 창업가들은 성취욕구가 향상되는 것으로 추정된다. 이는 창업교육이 스타트업부동산의 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 창업교육유무와 재무성과와의 평균치 차이검정결과 창업교육을 받은 집단이 받지 않은 집단보다 매출액 및 순이익 평균이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

The Effect of Flipped Learning on Learning Motivation in Software Education (플립러닝이 소프트웨어 교육의 학습동기에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this paper is to prove the effect of flipped learning on learning motivation in software education. For this study, the experiment was consisted of experimental group and control group for university of education. They learned software education using Scratch programming for 10 weeks. The experimental group was applied to the flipped learning with online software courses. As a result, post motivation in the experimental group was significantly increased compared to the pre learning motivation. Post- learning motivation is also the experimental group were higher learning motivation significantly compared to the control group. It is hoped this flipped learning as an effective learning strategies base expansion in primary and secondary education as well as high education teaching software in the future.

An Effects of Project Media Education with Computer in Technological Academic Achievement and Ability of Self-Directed Learning in middle school (컴퓨터 활용 프로젝트 미디어교육의 중등 기술교과 학업성취도 및 자기주도 학습능력에 미치는 효과 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터를 중심으로 하여 인쇄매체, 영상매체를 활용하는 프로젝트 미디어교육이 중학생 기술교육의 학업성취도 및 자기주도 학습능력에 긍정적인 효과를 미치는가를 연구하였다. 연구대상자들을 전통적 교사중심 강의수업을 받는 집단과 프로젝트 미디어교육을 받는 집단으로 나누어 실험하였다. 이를 통해 나타난 결과는, 첫째, 프로젝트 미디어교육 학습집단이 전통적 강의방식 학습집단에 비해 인지적 영역과 정의적 영역의 학업성취도에서 더 효과적인 결과를 보여주었다. 그러나 학습결과물 영역의 학업성취도에서는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 프로젝트 미디어교육 학습집단이 전통 학습집단에 비해 학습자들의 자기주도 학습능력 요소들 중, 학습기회에 대한 개방성, 학습에의 솔선수범 및 독립성, 창의성의 요소들에서 더 효과적인 결과를 나타내었다.

A Study on the Application Model of JigsawIII method for ICT Education of Literacy (ICT 소양교육을 위한 직소III 학습 모형의 적용 연구)

  • 본 연구는 인지적 학습효과가 높아지고 자아 존중감과 협동심을 키울 수 있는 JigsawIII모형을 ICT 소양교육에 적용하는 방안에 대한 연구이다. JigsawIII를 토대로 ICT 소양교육의 이론과 기능분야를 학습하도록 학습환경과 학습절차를 구성하고 실제 현장에 적용하여 실험집단에 JigsawIII 모형을 실시하고, 통제집단에 전통학습방법을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 이론 학습에서는 실험집단과 통제집단의 학습효과가 비슷하였으나, 기능학습에서는 JigsawIII를 적용한 실험집단이 평균점수의 검증결과가 더 높게 나타났으며, 통계적으로도 p<.05 수준에서 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. ICT 소양교육이 실생활에서 응용할 수 있는 ICT 지식을 익히고 능동적으로 활용하도록 하는 것에 그 목적이 있으므로 JigsawIII모형 ICT 교육에 활용한다면 긍정적인 교육적 효과를 이루어낼 수 있을 것이다.
