This study aimed to clarify the effect of information technology (IT) education on the efficiency and effectiveness of working processes among agriculture corporations. Survey data on information levels from 222 agriculture corporations were collected from the Korean Agency of Education, Promotion, and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (EPIS) for a governmental white paper. Structural equation modeling was used for analysis. This study found that IT education increases the ratio of the use of information systems in working processes, especially given the use of data accumulated through information and communications technologies (ICT). The findings of this study suggest that the use of ICT data as an aspect of IT education is beneficial for the agricultural sector.

The main purpose of this study was to analyze the general informatization situation of North Korean defectors and to study the characteristics and needs of the learners in order to provide the directions of information education for them. The results of the study showed the following characteristics of the North Korean defectors: They are slow learners due to the fear of new devices, have difficulty in learning due to the unfamiliar language of information and English, and indifferent when the situation is not related to themselves. Based on these learner characteristics and needs, this study suggests the strategies of step-by-step repetition, use of North and South Korean dictionary of the information terminology, apply job-centered and communication abilities, and suggested a four-element STEP model. Raising the level of informatization of North Korean defectors will help establish a successful settlement to South Korea. This will be a valuable foundation and a stepping stone for the future unification of Korea.

현대 사회에서 정보는 학생들의 생활에 큰 영향을 주고 있으며, 정보화 사회의 주역이 될 학생들에게 정보화 교육은 절실하게 필요하다. 2003년 이후로 초등학교에서 정보통신기술이 전면적으로 실시된 이후 여러 방면에서 활발한 논의가 이루어지고 있지만, 교육 목표에 대한 학생들의 학업 성취 수준을 평가하는 것은 간과되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 초등학교 2, 4, 6학년 학생들의 정보통신기술교육에 대한 학습 목표 성취도를 살펴보고, 학생들의 학습 경로와 교육목표 성취도 간의 관계를 분석하여 더 나은 ICT 교육의 방향을 제시해 보고자 한다. 먼저, 단계별 학습 영역에 따른 학습 내용을 추출하고 평가 기준을 세운 후 해당 학생들의 학습 정도와 학습 내용의 습득 경로를 평가지를 통하여 조사하였다. 조사 내용을 영역별로 분석한 결과 컴퓨터 교육의 인지적인 부분이 기능적인 부분보다 상대적으로 교육목표 성취도가 낮으며, 학습 경로를 분석한 결과 수업 시간보다는 집에서 가족에게 배우거나 스스로 익히는 경우가 더 많은 것으로 조사되었다.

The intelligent information society is expected to drastically change our lives. The purpose of this content is to derive tasks in the field of media education for the elderly for the realization of digital inclusion in an intelligent information society. To this end, the vision, goals, strategies, and tasks of the intelligent information society were examined through the 6th National Informatization Basic Plan(2018~2022) and the 2022 Education Informatization White Paper(2022). In addition, the current status of the digital gap among the elderly classified as vulnerable groups was identified through the results of the 2022 Digital Information Gap Survey. In order to ease the digital information gap between the elderly in the intelligent information society, it is believed that the development of intelligent media education services using intelligent information technology, provision of media education services for the elderly through learning online service channels, and support for digital intelligent media education for the elderly are necessary.

본 연구는 결혼이민자들의 성공적인 정착을 위해서는 그 수단 중의 하나로서 정보격차 수준의 완화를 통하여 정보불평등에 따른 사회불평등을 해소시켜 주기 위한 정보화교육 활성화의 정책적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 결혼이민자의 정보격차해소를 위한 정책적 시사점은 첫째, 결혼이민자를 위한 공공기관과 그들이 자주 이용하는 기관의 정보화 교육프로그램의 다양화에 따른 정보 접근권의 확대, 둘째, 인터넷을 통한 사회참여 활동 기회제공을 위한 시스템 구축마련, 셋째, 디지털기기를 이용한 이체, 송금, 계좌조회, 공인인증서, 세금납부, 각종 민원서류발급, 공과금, 고지서 확인, 각종 복지 및 보조금 신청, 공공서비스 관련 정보검색 등의 업무 능력 향상을 위한 '찾아가는 맞춤형 서비스 프로그램' 확대, 넷째, 인터넷 비이용자들을 위한 교재개발과 체계적인 커리큘럼 개발을 위한 교육기관 지원정책 확대, 다섯째, 결혼이민자를 위한 컴퓨터 자격증반의 운영을 활성화를 통한 취업 및 창업의 기반을 지원해주어야 함을 제시하였다.

이상에서 소개된 정보통신부 리눅스 활성화 방안을 요약하면 다음과 같다.1991년 개발된 리눅스가 최근 저비용 고효율 안정성 등의 여러가지 이점 때문에 대표적인 PC서버용 운영체제로 부각되고 있다. IBM, Intel, Sun 등 세계적인 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 업체들이 공식적으로 리눅스 지원을 시작하면서 Windows NT에 대적하는 새로운 서버 운영체제로 부각되었고, 이에 따라 다른 여러 업체들도 리눅스 시장을 선점하기 위해 활발한 개발활동을 전개하고 있다. 본 활성화 방안은 국내에서 리눅스 활성화를 통해 다음의 목표를 달성하기 위해 마련되었다. 추진목표는 첫째, 저가격 고성능의 리눅스를 이용한 PC 보급 확산으로 인터넷 이용환경 구축 예산을 절감하고 교육정보화 등 정보화사업에 리눅스 적용을 통해 국민의 보편적 이용환경을 조성하는 데 있고, 둘째, 리눅스 기반기술 개발을 통해 소프트웨어 기술을 국제수준으로 향상시키고, 셋째, 리눅스의 보급 활성화를 통한 국내 소프트웨어 산업을 육성하는 데 있다. 구체적 추진전략은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 리눅스 한글환경 표준화 및 리눅스 기반기술 개발 등과 같은 원활한 리눅스 보급을 위한 연구개발을 추진한다. 둘째, 리눅스 환경하의 다양한 응용 개발 촉진체계를 구축한다. 셋째, 공공분야에 대한 리눅스 보급을 추진한다. 셋째, 공공분야에 대한 리눅스 보급을 추진한다. 정보화사업 추진 시 리눅스 활용을 적극 추진하고 교육정보화 사업의 기본장비로 활용하는 시범사업을 추진한다. 또한 산 학 연의 리눅스 전문가들로 리눅스 협의회를 구성하여 리눅스 보급 확산을 위한 활동을 추진하게 될 것이다. 이 과정에서 기업들의 요구사항 및 이용활성화에 대해서 협의가 이루어질 것이다. 새 천년에는 시작부터 국가간에 치열한 정보화 경쟁이 있을 것이다. 정보화 환경이 얼마나 저비용 고효율으로 잘 구축되었느냐, 그리고 정보화 인력을 얼마나 갖고 있느냐가 그러한 국제사회에서의 경쟁력을 좌우하게 될 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 리눅스의 활성화는 매우 중요하다. 본 활성화 방안이 성공적으로 수행되어 우리나라가 아시아의 리눅스 메카로 떠올라 새천년에 우리나라가 정보화 선진국에 진입하도록 정부에서는 최대의 노력을 기울일 방침이다.

The aim of this study was to analyse the usefulness of information literacy education for the over 50-years older adults in Daegu, Korea. To achieve this objective, data were collected through the questionnaire survey and interview. Of the 311 valid data were categorized into two groups in accordance with their experience of information literacy education, and analysed using AMOS for the structural equation modeling. As the results, both groups showed that the information literacy education influences positively among in 'information convenience', in 'information usefulness' and in 'life satisfaction'. Also, regardless of their experience of information literacy education, the group revealed that 'information convenience' positively impacts on the 'life satisfaction', however, 'information usefulness' did not show any significant relationship with the 'life satisfaction' in this study.

Teachers should actively maintain and improve their ICT competency in today's ever changing information society. A standardized system should now be developed to assist educators when choosing courses to improve their ICT competency. Previous ICT competency studies have only measured one's current ICT abilities rather than analyzing the skills necessary for educators to be successful in the educational system. This study developed an assessment tool to measure the ICT competency levels of CEOs who have the potential to be the decision makers in ICT education. In order to accomplish this, the jobs, duties, and tasks of educational CEOs were analyzed against the ICT Skills Standards for Teachers to determine which ICT skills are required by educational CEOs. Sixty-three questions were extracted from this analysis, guiding educational CEOs in the determination of their own ICT skills level.

Digital divide comes to appear as a new factor of causing social inequality with the entry of information society. Especially, the digital divide in student class makes a worry about education inequality as the education using ICT, e-learning, and u-learning are enlarged. So, the concern about the status of digital divide in school is increasing. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of students and teachers in elementary and secondary schools located in Gyeongnam, and measured informatization level with the weighted average of three subindices : accessing index, capability index, and utilization index. According to the survey, the index on information processing capability showed the largest gap in both the student group and the teacher group. We also had the result of positive correlation between the capability index and the utilization index. These results show that the gap of information processing capability is an important factor for understanding the digital divide.

This study analyzed the level of digital informatization and the level of human relationship satisfaction in the disabled group. The digital informatization level of the disabled refers to the level of smart access, smart capability, and smart utilization. For the sampling of persons with disabilities, the survey was conducted for persons aged 7 to 69 who were registered under the Welfare for Persons with Disabilities Act. Regression analysis utilized SAS 9.3.s through vitalization of local communities, and information education for the disabled is also important. The analysis results are as follows. First, the higher the digital access level of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. Second, the higher the digital information capability level of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. Third, the higher the level of digital information utilization of the disabled, the higher the level of interpersonal satisfaction. As a result, the higher the digital information level of the disabled, the higher the satisfaction level in the interpersonal relationship of the disabled. In addition, it was found that careful attention and policy review are needed to resolve the digital information gap of the government for the disabled who are marginalized groups. Therefore, it is necessary to provide the expansion of universal services of the marginalized groups including the disabled. In addition, it is important to form a culture in which the community embraces the marginalized class through vitalization of local communities, and information education for the disabled is also important.
