  • 본 논문에서는 개발로 인해 변형된 자연환경과 도시의 본래 모습을 3D기반의 환경교육용 가상현실 콘텐츠로 구현함으로써 조선시대의 자연환경과 현재의 자연환경을 비교하여 사용자 스스로 환경변화에 학습하고 오염의 원인과 해결 방안을 모색할 수 있는 콘텐츠를 제작하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • While the development of digital media has positive aspects of knowledge enlargement and a new communication channel, it also demonstrates a lot of unexpected defects, such as personal isolation, addiction, obsession or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity. Thus, the author considers it is urgent to develop the contents specifically designed for children in this new digital environment and would like to propose the combined Children's device and contents using the new concept of Mixed Reality. The Mixed Reality that mixes real world and virtual world provides the opportunity that can experience the new concept of play education by using touchable interface of children's real life toy cars together with the virtual world in the smart phones. This Mixed Reality that is extended from sole senses will lead the children to develop the concentration, sense of reality and imagination and also to experience the enlarged play and education concept.

  • Virtual reality is a technology for enabling users to interact with a computer generated environment which can be similar to the real world. A multi-channel display is one of the virtual reality platform for creating a high resolution image. In this paper, we develop a multi-channel display system which allows users to immersively understand the 3D educating contents and furthermore, we construct 3D educating contents for describing a semiconductor concept and process.

  • 유무선 초고속 인터넷 연결과 모바일기기의 발달로 사이버공간을 이용하는 멀티미디어 교육용 콘텐츠에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 가상공간에서 로봇조립에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해서 교육용 콘텐츠를 디자인하고 구현한다. 콘텐츠는 로봇 부품을 사용자가 조립해 나가는 과정으로 플래시 애니메이션 기법과 액션 스크립트을 활용해서 동영상과 상호작용을 조립과정 콘텐츠에 나타내었다. 인터넷 가상공간에서 사용자 중심의 상호 작용을 통하여 로봇 조립과정을 구현함으로써 가상공간에서 사용자 직접 조작으로 조립함으로서 교육효과를 증진시킬 수 있다. 현재의 구현과정은 이미지위주의 제한적 조립과정이지만 향후에는 3차원 모델링기반의 AR(증강현실) 구현으로 발전할 수 있다.

  • There has been an increasing interest in new industry and demand creations by the convergence and integration between IT and infrastructure and BT, NT, and CT and the convergence of IT and spread of cloud computing have changed the IT service environment. Even in the educational field, the convergence and integration of contents with various IT have rapidly emerged and learning equipments for the educational purpose have expanded to the mobile media platform from PCs so that learning without limitations to time, place and equipment has become possible. Contents necessary for the smart education are under way by research development utilizing cyber reality and simulation, and 3D technologies. The purpose of this study is to propose marine contents use and service plans for the educational purpose in order to produce various types of contents for the marine life and environment, to improve the school achievement by stimulating interest and to provide individually customized learning.

  • 가상현실은 시·공간을 초월하는 경험이 가능하며 아이들의 몰입감과 학습효과를 높일 수 있어 교육 도구로서의 가치를 인정받고 있다. 정부는 VR 기기를 전국의 초등학교에 보급하고 있지만, 양질의 교육용 실감형 콘텐츠는 부족한 상황이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 가상현실 기술을 활용한 국악기 연주 체험 프로그램을 제안하였다. Unity의 물리 엔진과 Oculus의 햅틱 기능을 이용하여 전통 국악기 중 편경을 실감 나게 연주할 수 있도록 가상환경을 구현하였다. 리듬 게임 형식을 적용하여 아이들의 흥미 또한 유발하였다. 이 프로그램을 통해 국악기를 직접 연주하며 해당 국악기에 대한 지식을 자연스럽게 습득할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Adaptation of VR 360-degree Intravenous Infusion Educational Content for Nursing Students (간호대학생을 위한 가상현실(VR) 360도 정맥수액주입 교육용 콘텐츠의 적용)

  • In this study, after applying VR 360-degree video contents for intravenous infusion education, basic data on whether VR 360-degree video can be applied as educational content in the future is prepared by grasping the empathy and flow of nursing students in graduating grades. The VR 360 degree intravenous infusion educational content was developed in four-step process of planning, production, modification and completion. The design of this study was descriptive research, and the study period was from November 9 to November 22, 2019. The subjects of this study were 4th grade nursing students at a university, totaling 64 students. Nursing students watched VR 360 degree intravenous infusion educational content using HMD(head mounted display) under the safety management of the researcher. As a result of the study, the empathy of nursing students was 5.32±0.88 points and the flow was 6.02±0.84 points out of 7-point scale. The VR 360 degree intravenous infusion educational content developed in this study can be used as an educational medium in subjects and comparative departments, and it is necessary to specifically develop and verify teaching and learning methods in future studies.

  • In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, the education industry is expected to grow further. It is expected that growth rate of future education using VR/AR technology will be very high. Realistic contents based on VR/AR technology provides high realism and experience through characteristics of immersion, interaction and intelligence. This paper tries to analyze the trends of realistic contents technology at home and abroad, and to come up with measures that can be applied to future educational content through case analysis of realistic contents development.

  • Social study for province textbook is very difficulty for experience and learning in classroom because the contents of social study for province text book is consist of contents about very far away places. And there are less contents than normal subject. Especially, children need experiences and enough contents for learning in social study for province textbook. The purpose of this paper are as follows: 1) design and implementation of PVR contents 2) applying 4th grade social study for province textbook 3) inspecting for satisfaction degree and result of students about the efficiency of PVR contents.

Case study of extended reality education and field application of pre-service elementary teachers (예비 초등교사의 확장현실 교육 및 현장 적용 사례 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to design a training program for pre-service elementary teachers, incorporating the concepts of extended reality technologies. This program contained the basic skills necessary for them to utilize in their future classrooms. To accomplish this, 12 undergraduate students of various majors enrolled in one of Korea's national universities of education were selected as research subjects. For a total of 6 times over 6 weeks, they participated in a training program learning the basic concepts of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, as well as creating their own education software to use in simulated classes. To improve the quality of future research efforts, this study found it would be beneficial to: 1) expand the relevant support equipment, 2) provide students with preliminary, background knowledge of text-based programming, 3) introduce short-term, more intensive training, and 4) improve the survey methods for this research.
