Design of Integrated Management System with School Infra-Network Management Function for Educational Information Infrastructure (학내망 관리 기능을 포함하는 교육 정보 인프라 통합 관리 시스템 설계)

  • 최근 컴퓨터, 인터넷, 그리고 다양한 멀티미디어 자료를 이용한 정보통신기술(ICT) 활용 교육에 대한 사회적 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이로 인하여 각급 학교에서는 컴퓨터, 학내망 장비, 교육용 소프트웨어 등의 교육 정보 인프라에 대한 관리 및 관련 업무를 교육 정보부에 전담시키고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 정보화 기자재 및 소프트웨어 관리뿐만 아니라 학내망 관련 업무 효율을 높이기 위한 교육 정보 인프라 통합 관리시스템을 설계한다. 제안된 시스템은 웹을 기반으로 교육 정보부에서 관리하는 모든 관리 대장의 자료를 포함한다. 특히 제안된 시스템은 교육 정보부의 개별적인 관리대장 자료의 연관성을 분석하여 학내망 구조 기반으로 운용된다. 이를 위하여 학내망 장비를 위한 새로운 데이터베이스 레코드 형를 제안하고 이를 이용하는 학내망 구조 구성 알고리즘을 제안한다. 따라서 본 시스템은 사용자의 관리 대장 자료에 대한 접근을 학내망 구조 기반으로 수행할 수 있도록 함으로써 교육 정보부 업무에 대한 거부감과 업무 효율을 향상 시킬 것으로 기대된다.

A Training Case Study of Deep Learning Artificial Neural Networks for Teacher Educations (교사교육을 위한 딥러닝 인공신경망 교육 사례 연구)

  • In this paper, a case of deep learning artificial neural network education was studied for artificial intelligence literacy education for preservice teachers and incumbent teachers. In addition, through the proposed educational case, we tried to explore the contents of artificial neural network principle education that elementary, middle and high school students can experience. To this end, first, an example of training on the principle of operation of an artificial neural network that recognizes two types of images is presented. And as an artificial neural network extension application education case, an artificial neural network education case for recognizing three types of images was presented. The number of output layers was changed according to the number of images to be recognized by the artificial neural network, and the cases implemented in a spreadsheet were divided and explained. In addition, in order to experience the operation results of the artificial neural network, we presented the educational contents to directly write the learning data necessary for the artificial neural network of the supervised learning method. In this paper, the implementation of the artificial neural network and the recognition test results are visually presented using a spreadsheet.

  • In the last decades, inter-networking technologies advanced more rapidly than any other field. Today, the Internet is one of the most important infrastructure to society as becoming an indispensible tool of people and companies. During mid-1990's, developed countries recognized the advanced network as a basic infrastructure for the future science and technology development. They developed national research and education networks for the development of future science and network technology. In this paper, we made a comprehensive review of global research and education network developments. We also made analysis of Korea's activities on advanced network comparing with those of developed nations, then suggested approaches to improve Korean advanced networks.

An Educational Case Study of Image Recognition Principle in Artificial Neural Networks for Teacher Educations (교사교육을 위한 인공신경망 이미지인식원리 교육사례연구)

  • In this paper, an educational case that can be applied as artificial intelligence literacy education for preservice teachers and incumbent teachers was studied. To this end, a case of educating the operating principle of an artificial neural network that recognizes images is proposed. This training case focuses on the basic principles of artificial neural network operation and implementation, and applies the method of finding parameter optimization solutions required for artificial neural network implementation in a spreadsheet. In this paper, we focused on the artificial neural network of supervised learning method. First, as an artificial neural network principle education case, an artificial neural network education case for recognizing two types of images was proposed. Second, as an artificial neural network extension education case, an artificial neural network education case for recognizing three types of images was proposed. Finally, the results of analyzing artificial neural network training cases and training satisfaction analysis results are presented. Through the proposed training case, it is possible to learn about the operation principle of artificial neural networks, the method of writing training data, the number of parameter calculations executed according to the amount of training data, and parameter optimization. The results of the education satisfaction survey for preservice teachers and incumbent teachers showed a positive response result of over 70% for each survey item, indicating high class application suitability.

  • In this paper, as a liberal arts course for non-majors, we proposed a supervised learning artificial neural network parameter optimization method and a basic education method for activation function to design a basic artificial neural network subject curriculum. For this, a method of finding a parameter optimization solution in a spreadsheet without programming was applied. Through this training method, you can focus on the basic principles of artificial neural network operation and implementation. And, it is possible to increase the interest and educational effect of non-majors through the visualized data of the spreadsheet. The proposed contents consisted of artificial neurons with sigmoid and ReLU activation functions, supervised learning data generation, supervised learning artificial neural network configuration and parameter optimization, supervised learning artificial neural network implementation and performance analysis using spreadsheets, and education satisfaction analysis. In this paper, considering the optimization of negative parameters for the sigmoid neural network and the ReLU neuron artificial neural network, we propose a training method for the four performance analysis results on the parameter optimization of the artificial neural network, and conduct a training satisfaction analysis.

Correlation Between Social Network Centrality and College Students' Performance in Blended Learning Environment (블렌디드 러닝 환경에서 사회 연결망 중심도와 학습자 성과 간의 상관관계)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the effects of social network centrality variables on students' performance in blended learning environment in a higher educational institution. Using data from 36-student course on Learning Theories and Their Implications on Instructional Design Practices, the researcher empirically tested how social network centrality variables - such as friendship network centrality, advice network centrality, and adversary network centrality - are correlated with academic achievement measures. Results indicate, as hypothesized, the friendship and advice centrality positively correlate with, whereas the adversary centrality being negatively correlate with application performance measures and test scores. The size and quality of posted online discussions are positively and strongly correlated with the advice network centrality.

  • This paper purports to analyze the works of elementary school teachers belonging to the educational information division, who are key players in making information-based elementary school education, to analyze any problems with the works, and to find out the best solutions to the problems under the given circumstance. Its research topics are: characteristics and current status of school network, and major structural characteristics and problems with operation of school network at N Elementary School; the works of elementary school teachers belonging to the educational information division (hereinafter referred to as "the Teachers"); the Teachers' recognition of education information and any problems with their works; and finally, countermeasures to reduce the Teachers' work load.

  • If we are using SNMP based network management systems and we need to manage new OSI based network elements, we have to develop new network management system. Most of the networks, which are composed of diverse. heterogeneous network nodes, are managed by CMIP based management system. The development of new management system, however, is very costly. In this paper, we show the design and implementation of the SNMP based network management system with minor changes for the management of OSI network and network elements.

The Analysis on the KAIE Articles using Social Network Analysis (사회연결망 분석을 활용한 정보교육학회 논문 분석)

  • Recently, a number of researches focus on social network analysis and it is applied to various fields not only in social science area but also in natural science area. Therefore, the social network analysis and the text analysis were conducted in order to analyze the current trend of the theses in information education field. The result indicated that the most frequently mentioned words were consistent with the development of information technology and the change in information education curriculum. That is, the mentioned words were computer aided instruction (CAI) and courseware for period 1, ICT for period 2, smart and scratch for period 3, and in period 4, computational thinking ability and coding appeared for the first time. Moreover, as the result of social network analysis, it concluded the research topics became more complicated and detailed as the words diversified throughout the period in which the simplified network in period 1 changed its configuration into a structure with more diversified words of higher centrality.

  • 교육망의 과학적 관리는 정확한 데이터를 처리해서 얻은 정보에 따라 행해진다. 이러한 시스템을 정보망 시스템(Information Network System)이라 하는데 이것의 중추적인 기능을 담당하고 있는 것이 웹 데이터 베이스 관리 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 웹 종합정보망을 이용하여 대학평가 작업을 정확하고 효율적으로 수행하고자 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 웹 망은 정보 시스템의 심장부가 되며 이를 나양한 기법들과 결합시켜서 보다 지능적으로 만들 수 있다. 대학 행정망에 필요한 자료들을 어떻게 구성하고 가공하느냐가 과학적 관리의 관건이 될 것이다. 이런 이유로 격동하는 대학가의 위기에 능동저긍로 대처하기 위한 한 전략으로 대학의 현재를 객관적으로 평가하기 위한 대학평가 시스템을 개발하였다. OODBMS(Object Oriented Data Base Management System)를 통해 멀티미디어 정의구축과 정보유지 및 재사용 가능성을 극대화하고자 한다.
