A Study on the Variation of the Ionosphere Through SID Monitoring (SID 모니터링을 통한 전리층의 변화 관측 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the ionosphere by monitoring VLF radio wave. For this purpose, we set up the SID(Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance) monitoring station in Pohang($36.03^{\circ}N$, $129.35^{\circ}E$), Korea receiving VLF radio wave(22.2kHz) transmitted from Ebino($32.04^{\circ}N$, $130.81^{\circ}E$), Japan. The observed data of radio wave intensities are analyzed to interpret the condition of the ionosphere. We can summarize the results as follows: Radio waves show regular daily variation. We can confirm the daily variation as a result of the formation of D layer. In relation to formation or extinction of D layer, intensity of radio wave gets weak right after sunrise and sunset. Southing altitude also affects the intensity of day time radio wave. At night when D layer disappears, the radio waves shows very irregular changes. The observed radio waves also shows the influence of the seasonal ionospheric variation. Long term observation could provide more detailed interpretation of daily as well as seasonal variation of ionosphere.

  • There is an inescapable requirement in public policy to provide evidence. For the evaluation of the EU Rural Development Policy, the European Commission has designed a Common Monitoring and Evaluation Framework(CMEF). The principal objectives of evaluations are to improve decision-making, resource allocation and accountability. In Korea, howerver, the opinion-based policy by expert is still rural development evaluation system. It does not provide the objective quantitative indicators for impact of rural development project. According to this, the budget-making body (parliament, government, etc.) have questioned the effectiveness of rural development projects, rural development projects often reduced or changed. To improve the accountability of rural development policy, it is necessary to build a reliable monitoring and evaluation system based on the evidence. First, rural development evaluation indicators should be considered the multipul goal of rural development, namely economic development, social development. Second, the purpose of the evaluation is necessary to be designed for the learning rather than reward. Third, the participation by local residents should be strengthened in evaluation process. Finally, it is necessary to establish rural development monitoring and evaluation system, such as CMEF of the EU (CMEF).

A Rule's Reasoning and Case-Based Learning Method for Efficient Dynamic Workload Balancing of VoD Systems (VoD 시스템의 효율적인 동적 작업부하조정을 위한 규칙 추론 및 사례기반 학습 방법)

  • The agent system that can adjust the workload dynamically through thc periodical monitoring of the VoD system comprises the agency part interfacing the VoD system and the intelligence part reasoning or learning the facts required for the adjustment of workload. This paper proposes a learning method that can apply to the intelligence part of the agent system. The proposed method can adjust the workload more efficiently by the rule's reasoning process and case-based learning process. An experiment of implementing a simulator was conducted to see whether or not application of the proposed method to VoD systems is efficient. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the throughput and the average waiting time of the VoD server were relatively improved when the proposed method was applied compared to existing means.

  • 본 연구는 경영학 관련 분야에서 멀티미디어 기술의 경영학적 측면의 응용에 관한 연구의 중요성이나 필요성을 많은 학자들이 인식하고 있음에도 불구하고 아직 멀티미디어에 관한 연구가 전무한 실정에서 시도한 초기연구라는데 연구의 의의가 있다. 이러한 시점에서 교육공학과 경영정보학을 접목시킨 멀티미디어에 관한 연구는 상당히 중요할 것으로 판단된다. 이와 같이 본 연구는 경영정보학 분야에서 멀미미디어에 관한 연구로서는 초기의 연구로서, 본 연구가 가지는 연구의 필요성이나 중요성에 대해서는 우리들이 충분히 인식할 수 있을 것이다. 지금까지 국내외적으로 멀티미디어 정보시스템을 이용한 교육의 효과에 관한 연구는 몇 편의 탐색적 논문이 발견되고 있으나, 멀티미디어를 이용한 교육의 효과를 구성하는 요인이 무엇인지를 밝히기 위한 연구는 거의 전무한 실정이다 이러한 상황에서 멀티미디어를 이용한 교육의 효과를 구성하는 요인이 무엇이며, 구성요인 중 어떤 요인이 기업이나 학습자에게 가장 큰 효과를 가져다주는지를 밝히기 위한 연구는 현실적으로 상당히 중요하며 의미 있는 연구로 받아들여진다. 본 연구는 멀티미디어 정보시스템을 이용한 기업체 교육훈련의 효과요인을 도출하기 위하여 문헌연구와 실증적 연구를 병행 수행하였다. 우선 멀티미디어 정보시스템에 관한 문헌연구를 통하여 멀티미디어를 이용한 교육의 22가지 효과항목을 도출하였다. 다음으로 멀티미디어 정보시스템을 갖추고 있는 국내 5대 재벌 그룹연수원의 멀티미디어 교육실에서 교육을 받은 517명의 기업체 사원들을 대상으로 약 2개월간 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 통계분석 패키지를 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 방식을 결합한 하이브리드 형태이다.인터넷으로 주문처리하고, 신속 안전한 배달을 기대한다. 더불어 고객은 현재 자신의 물건이 배달되는 경로를 알고싶어 한다. 웹을 통해 물건을 주문한 고객이 자신이 물건의 배달 상황을 웹에서 모니터링 한다면 기업은 고객으로 공간적인 제약으로 인한 불신을 불식시키는 신뢰감을 주게 된다. 이러한 고객서비스 향상과 물류비용 절감은 사이버 쇼핑몰이 전국 어디서나 우리의 안방에서 자연스럽게 점할 수 있는 상황을 만들 것이다.SP가 도입되어, 설계업무를 지원하기위한 기본적인 시스템 구조를 구상하게 된다. 이와 함께 IT Model을 구성하게 되는데, 객체지향적 접근 방법으로 Model을 생성하고 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 Tool로 사용한다. 단계 4)는 Software Engineering 관점으로 접근한다. 이는 최종산물이라고 볼 수 있는 설계업무 지원 시스템을 Design하는 과정으로, 시스템에 사용될 데이터를 Design하는 과정과, 데이터를 기반으로 한 기능을 Design하는 과정으로 나눈다. 이를 통해 생성된 Model에 따라 최종적으로 Coding을 통하여 실제 시스템을 구축하게 된다.the making. program and policy decision making, The objectives of the study are to develop the methodology of modeling the socioeconomic evaluation, and build up the practical socioeconomic evaluation model of the HAN projec

  • The goal of this study is to suggest evaluation tools to assess computational thinking(CT) skills in primary robot-based programs. In addition, the researcher has expanded its evaluation approaches to include interpersonal competencies from the socio-cultural perspectives, not just focusing on intrapersonal competencies. In order to pursue the research goal, one-semester robots programs for the fifth graders were designed, and evaluation tools including a learners' CT competencies survey and a learning process monitoring rubric were developed. The results of this study are meaningful because it has expanded the evaluation approaches to connect to the concepts of CT and to include interpersonal aspects from the socio-cultural perspectives.

An Ecosystem Model and Content Research of the Satellite Information Utilization Business (위성정보 활용 사업의 생태계 모델과 콘텐츠 연구)

  • Satellite-derived data is collected by observing the Earth and is used in various fields such as national defense, natural disasters, location-based services, infrastructure, environment, energy, marine, and insurance. This study aims to present the virtuous cycle structure of the satellite information data industry and the business ecosystem model of the industry. As a research method, cases were collected and categorized from the following areas: literature, online, application, and content. The results show that the ecosystem model of the satellite information data industry provides an approach to content services in public and commercial areas, and develops various algorithmic technologies to facilitate content production and services at the level of complex general-purpose technologies. Second, in terms of content typology, satellite information data can be subdivided into monitoring content, urban space monitoring content, and satellite information content. Third, the consumption value of satellite content could be subdivided into informational value, environmental, social and governance (ESG) value, educational value, and content value. In order to expand the global content market, Korea will need to focus on creating an ecosystem for the satellite information industry and discovering differentiated content. It will also need to increase the popularization and accessibility of data to the general public and promote the Korean K-Satellite Information Data Industry ecosystem through government support, policy efforts, and policies such as establishing legal systems, increasing investment, and training human resources.

A Design Education Program for Children's Participation Design - Focused on Eogong 6ho Children's Park in Suwon - (어린이 참여디자인을 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 연구 - 수원시 어공6호 어린이공원을 사례로 -)

  • Recently, citizen participation and user - oriented design are becoming increasingly important in the urban space design process. The Children's Park has also begun to discuss the need to reflect children's opinions and needs as well as existing ways and means of participation to reflect these opinions and ideas. In this study, a design education program for children was constructed and user opinions accessed via this design education were reflected in design and applied to the Children's Park. The training program consists of five weeks of educational programs, textbooks and teaching methods related to existing research, design education for children and participatory design programs. This program was used as a pilot of Eogong-6ho Children 's Park(No. 6 Children's Park), located in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, and reinterpreted the results of the workshop for 5th grade students at Sunil Elementary School. This design education program is distinguished from other workshop programs on how to organize and operate participating professors and textbooks, and has a program base that can reproduce the entire process. In addition, it is necessary to verify the effects of user participation through research, such as monitoring the use of children's parks after completion, as well as the application of more diverse design methodologies to children's parks and the way they reflect children's opinions.

Ways to Restructure Science Elective Courses in Preparation for the High School Credit System and the 2022 Revised Curriculum (고교학점제와 2022 개정 교육과정에 대비한 과학과 선택과목 재구조화 방안 탐색)

  • This study aims to investigate teachers' perceptions of the composition of high school science elective courses ahead of the 2022 curriculum revision, and to derive implications for the organization of the 2022 revised science curriculum in preparation for the full implementation of the high school credit system. To this end, a survey was conducted by randomly sampling high schools across the country. A total of 192 science teachers responded to the questionnaire. In addition, 12 high school science teachers were selected as a focus group, and in-depth interviews were conducted to investigate opinions on the restructuring of elective courses in science. Main research results include 129 (67.2%) science teachers in the survey answered that the current 2015 curriculum's science and elective courses system should be maintained. In the next curriculum, when reconstructing science elective subjects, it is necessary to provide an opportunity to experience the entire contents of each science field through Science I·II system as before, and to ensure student choice in preparation for the credit system. In addition, the opinion that general elective subjects should be organized to include all the contents of science I and II subjects was the highest. Through in-depth interviews, science teachers emphasized that the current science I subject system allows access to the content areas of science as much as possible as the number of subjects is small, and that subjects, such as physics, where the hierarchy of concepts is important, should deal with important content within one subject rather than divided by area. On the other hand, in the current I subject system, there is no subject for liberal arts students to choose from, so teachers suggested that science electives should be organized by subdividing each content area. Based on the research results, the necessity of organizing high school science elective courses in consideration of the purpose of the high school credit system, ways to organize science-convergence elective courses as subjects for all students regardless of career aptitude, ways to organize science-career elective courses, and ways to organize science elective courses in connection with the college admission system were proposed.

  • One of the key success factors for Computer Supported Collaborative Learning(CSCL) environments relies on collaborative reflection. Reflection refers to the active, intellectual thinking for monitoring one's own learning process and continuous internal activities of exploring oneself for new learning experiences. Also, reflective activities are closely related not only with the individual aspect of internal exploration but also with the social aspect of learner-learner interaction. This paper suggests four essential macro-level design strategies such as (1)facilitating collaborative awareness, (2)making thinking visualization, (3)negotiation-mediated knowledge construction, (4)providing metacognitive awareness cues or Questions for scaffolding collaborative reflection in the CSCL environments and made some implications for key functional features for the design and development of system components for CSCL.

Evaluation on the Improved Individual Training Account System of Korea (개선된 내일배움카드제훈련에 대한 평가)

  • Korean government improved the Individual Training Account (ITA) System in September 15, 2011. This paper evaluated the Improved Individual Training Account System of Korea based on the success conditions of contracting-out public services. The results showed that the improved ITA system of Korea was expected to solve some of the problems of former ITA system of Korea by stabilizing ITA training market, improving target of ITA and better matching between jobs and training courses, and activating trainees. Nevertheless the improved ITA system of Korea still has some problems to be solved. The relationship between job placement services and issue of ITA should be closer by improving tailored total one-stop services for job seekers. The government should develop infrastructure for evaluating, monitoring and supporting the ITA training to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the ITA training system.
