  • Without proper treatment on the multiple tooth missing area, the lack of posterior support and the supra-eruption of the teeth cause many severe complications of occlusion, vertical dimension and masticatory function. This report is a case of full-mouth rehabilitation of a patient with loss of posterior support and collapsed occlusion due to missing teeth area left untreated for a long time. The patient who is 68-year old male patient had some teeth fallen out while removing his old maxillary denture and was complaining about pain in the region of anterior teeth due to traumatic contact. The vertical dimension was corrected by 4 mm from the top cervical point of the canine through various evaluations and the edentulous area was treated with the implant fixed prostheses through computer guided implant surgery based on the diagnosis and treatment plan for definitive prostheses supported by computed tomography (CT) data analysis and CAD-CAM (Computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) technique. After full mouth rehabilitation, the patient was very satisfied with remarkable improvements in mastication, function, and aesthetics.

  • The Purpose of this study is to clarify present situation and condition of information in public education and then. indicate the problems and suggest their solutions on new developmental plan. As a result, it was found that a lots of problems, a crisis of 'collapse on classroom' and insufficient using a medium of information. This study suggested the information equipment should be supplied. to develop the educational effective programs using a medium of information, to build information infrastructure, and the role of teacher in information education.

  • Full mouth rehabilitation is re-organizing the occlusion of the remaining teeth and missing teeth considering the functions, esthetics, and neuromuscular harmony. With the loss of multiple teeth, the patient's occlusal plane gradually collapses and the vertical dimension can be reduced. Since reduced vertical dimension can be a potential etiology of the temporomandibular joint and masticatory muscles, prosthetic restoration with increased vertical dimension is required. This case report is about a 68 years old patient with vertical dimension loss due to worn dentition and multiple loss of teeth. In this case, the loss of vertical dimension is assessed carefully using the digital dentistry technology. Using CAD software in digital analysis step, the occlusal plane was established and evaluated using several criteria. Orienting the position of the bone and teeth using CBCT image, patient's condition was visualized in 3 dimension and treatment planning was possible virtually. The information that matches the patient's condylar position with the articulator, which is the virtual face bow, is reproduced on the actual articulator, and evaluated again. After the evaluation, provisional prosthesis was fabricated and it was confirmed that the patient adapts without any abnormality. This was implemented as a final prosthesis. As a result, the patient obtained satisfying results, utilizing the benefits of digital dentistry technology and traditional methods.

Full mouth rehabilitation with fixed prostheses by increased vertical occlusal dimension using 3D printed splint in a patient with excessive tooth wear (과도한 치아 마모 환자의 3D 프린팅 교합안정장치를 이용한 수직 교합 고경 증가를 동반한 고정성 보철물 전악 수복 증례)

  • Severe wear of the anterior teeth facilitates the loss of anterior guidance, which protects the posterior teeth from wear during excursive movement. Additionally, when treating patients with collapsed occlusion due to multiple tooth loss and tooth wear, it is important to determine the presence of vertical dimension loss through accurate clinical and radiographic examinations and diagnostic wax-up. The patient of this case is a 44-year-old female patient who complained of overall tooth wear and loss of posterior teeth due to bruxism and clenching habits, visited the hospital with the address of restoring masticatory function and improving aesthetic appearance through prosthetic treatment. Through model analysis and diagnostic wax-up, an increase in vertical dimension was determined, and full mouth restoration with fixed prostheses was planned. The degree of adaptation to the vertical dimension was confirmed step by step using an occlusal splint designed with CAD (Computer aided design) software and 3-D (3-Dimensional) printed, and then restored with provisional restoration and after a 4-month adaptation period, the entire dentition was restored with metal ceramic crowns and implants. Through this procedure, satisfactory treatment results were obtained in terms of function and aesthetics.

  • Radium is rock or soil of crust or uranium of building materials after radioactivity collapse process are created colorless and odorless inert gas that accrue well in sealed space like basement. It inflow to lung circulate respiratory organ and caused lung cancer because of deposition of lung or bronchial tubes. In this study, the air in the elementary school classroom nongdoeul tonkatsu place of measured values were compared using the calculated annual internal radiation exposure. La tonkatsu exposure measured in primary school classroom at least five schools when you close the windows in the average floor 0.56mSv 2 floors ground floor windows when opened 0.384mSv 048mSv 3 floors, 2 floor levels of the same three layers 0.31mSv 0.296mSv the human exposure to radon and radiation on the first floor of 3 floors above ground in a lot of exposure was moderate. When you close the window from the first floor up 0.384mSv 056mSv 3 floors with a minimum annual radiation exposure due to natural radiation in the 16 to 23.3 percent minimum 2.4mSv accounted for. When I opened the window to the maximum annual radiation exposure 2.4mSv 0.296mSv 0.31mSv least a minimum of 12.3 to 12.91% accounted for Results suggest that more than five chodeunghakgyoeun La tonkatsu domestic radon measurements conducted below regulatory requirements and internal exposure has also fall within the normal range. People The less the radiation exposure to the human body because it reduces the impact in the classroom in elementary school vent windows often reduced to the maximum radon concentration in the air, if called tonkatsu be able to reduce radiation exposure for the immune system is weak and elementary will be helpful to experiment more in the future for the school authorities called tonkatsu investigation is done to him if the action to establish a more secure school building facilities is thought would be helpful.

  • Recently an unknown microbial desease and some parasitic crustaceans are prevailing in the sea-weed farms of Uudaria pinnatifida along the south-eastern coast of Korea.(1) Green spots probably caused by the microbial pathogens were found on the fronds of Undaira Pinnatifide. Particularly they were densely distributed on the distal half of the fronds. The tissues of the green spot area rot off, and small holes with green colored margin are formed. The holes at the distal part of the fronds are enlarged and they finally coalesced each other. Then this process accelerates decaying of the distal ends of the fronds.. The fronds growing in the central part of the farms are usually severely damaged, whereas in the marginal area of the farm toward the open sea side the damage is less serious. An examination revealed that the deseased fronds bore a number of viable bacteria, $6.8\times10^5\;to\;1.2\times10^6$ per gram at $15^{\circ}C$, whereas the healthy fronds $1.1\times10^4$. Twenty-six kinds of colonies, 247 strains of bacteria, were isolated from deseased fronds, belonging to Moraxella, Achromobacter, Vibrio, Flavobacterium, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas, etc. (2) Pinholes occurred in one series on the frond. They were probably caused by a harpacticoid copepod, Thalestris sp. Seven years ago when the disease was first found to occur the copepod was observed on the fronds from March of the year. Recently, however, they have been found as early as December of the previous year. (3) A gammarid amphipod, Ceinina iaponica, invades the pith of the midrib through holdfast of thalli. This rarely causes the longitudinal seperation of the entire frond through the midrib as they bore a tunnel in the pith. Sometimes holdfasts of tile heavy damaged thalli make the frond departed from the substrate.
