교육과정은 그 시대에 적합한 요구들을 반영하여야 한다. 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에서 이산수학의 도입이 바로 정보화 시대의 반영이라고 볼 수 있다. 즉, 이산수학의 도입은 수학의 변화가 수학교육의 변화로 이어졌다는 점에서 긍정적으로 평가할 수 있다. 그러나 새로운 내용의 교육과정 도입은 충분한 검증 절차의 부재로 인하여 부정적인 측면도 나타날 수 있다. 예를 들어, 교사양성 대학에서 이미 오래 전부터 개설되어진 해석학이나 대수학 같은 강좌와는 달리 이산수학의 강좌는 비교적 최근에 개설되어 졌으므로 대부분의 현장교사들은 이산수학 내용에 대한 지식이 거의 없다는데 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 바탕으로 우선, 교사양성 대학교육과정에서의 이산수학에 대한 충분한 연구와 우리 현실에 맞는 교재의 재구성이 요구되어진다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 7차교육과정을 고려하여, 교사양성 대학에 적합한 이산수학 강좌에 대한 구체적인 예들을 제시하여 사범대학 학생들로 하여금 이산수학을 제대로 이해하고, 아울러 이러한 연구가 현직 교사연수에도 충분히 반영될 수 있도록 한다.

Through the present training condition of Korean teacher librarians and their supply-demand prospects, this paper pointed out problems both of the educational system and of its supply-demand and suggested the solution as well. Particularly, focusing on the educational system of teacher librarians and the present condition of the training organizations, this paper predicted their supply ability in the future and analyzed the demand which is necessary, when applying the standards of Korean Library Association and School Library Promotional Law with the selective situation of teacher librarians. In this way, the problems of supply-demand imbalance were indicated and, as a method for training the proper number which is required for the future demand, the rearrangement of the approval number of a course of study for the teaching profession and the establishment of Library and Information education department in education college were proposed.

수학사 및 수리철학에 관한 연구는 교사양성 대학에서 더욱 강조되어야 할 부분임에도 불구하고 그에 관한 연구가 미진하다. 자연대의 수학과는 수학 그 자체가 중요하겠지만, 교사양성 대학에서는 수학 내용자체 뿐만 아니라, 수학의 역사적인 측면과 수학에 관한 인식론적인 측면이 함께 요구되어 진다. 절대적인 것으로 인식되어 온 수학에 대한 잘못된 선입견은 수학교육에도 심각한 악영향을 끼칠 수 있다. 그러나 괴델의 불완전성 정리 등으로 인해 수학에서의 논리체계는 더 이상 절대적이지 않다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 숱한 오류들의 극복을 통해 발전해 온 수학사적인 측면과 그로 인하여 수학에 관한 인식론적 변화를 수학에서의 큰 사건들을 중심으로 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로 유클리드 기하에서 비유클리드 기하의 발견, 칸토어의 무한한 역설의 발생, 역설을 극복하기 위한 수학기토론의 탄생, 괴델의 불완전성 정리로 이어지는 과정들을 살펴보고, 그로 인해 도출되어지는 수학교육적 시사점을 논의해 보며, 이르르 바탕으로 교사양성 대학에서의 수학사 및 수리철학 강좌의 운영 방안을 제시한다.

글로벌시대를 이끌어 갈 인재의 기초를 다지는 우수한 초등학교 교사 양성이라는 특수한 목적하에 설립된 고등교육기관인 교육대학교는 연구와 교육이라는 대학의 핵심기능 중 교육의 중요성이 특히 강조되는 조직이다. 이러한 특수성을 감안한 정부의 지속적인 관심과 투자가 절실하다. 여기서는 우리나라 교육대학교의 역할과 현주소를 다시 한 번 짚어보고, 우리나라 교육대학교의 발전을 위한 새 정부의 과제를 살펴보고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to explore good college instructional practice in the industrial teacher education in order to improve the quality of instruction. The study that what is the good instructional practice have been relatively more researched on elementary and middle school than colleges. Research methods used in this study were an individual interview and focus group interview. Research results and analyses were three directions in good instructional practice to be in teacher's college, engineering college and teacher's graduate school. Based on the result of the study, some recommendations for future researches were made as follows: First, good instructional practice in teacher's college were to be interested in students and be enthusiastic class and practical training. Second, good instructional practice in engineering colleges were class to be a faithful college program for teaching profession orientation and practical training. Third, good instructional practice in teacher's graduate school were class to allow for an academic standard and subjects of special study of each students.

대부분의 중등학교 교사양성대학교 수학교육과 학생들은 복소해석학을 3학년이 되었을 때 꼭 수강해야 한다. 그런데 교과내용은 자연대학 수학과에서 가르치는 내용과 다른 점이 별로 없다. 교과내용이 너무 어렵고 많을 뿐만 아니라 중등학교에서 수학교사로 일하는데에 별로 필요하지 않은 많은 내용을 담고 있다. 이런 교과과정은 중등학교 수학교사 양성을 목표로 하는 교사양성대학에는 매우 불합리한 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 오랜 세월 동안 이런 교과과정이 변하지 않고 지속되어 왔다는 것이 놀라올 뿐이다 이제는 오래되고 비현실적이며 비효율적이기따지 한 옛툴에서 벗어나려는 시도를 너무 늦기전에 해야만 한다. 이런 취지에서 복소해석학의 교과내용을 새롭게 구성하려 하고 있으며 2003년 1월24일부터 25일까지 이틀 동안 한국교원대하교에서 열리는 전국수학교육연구대회에서 이런 연구내용과 건의사항 등을 발표하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 우리 나라 학교환경교육의 발전 과정을 태동기(1980년 이전), 성립기(1981-1991년), 정착기(1992년 이후)로 구분하여 간략히 개관한 다음, 전국 수준의 초.중등학교 학생, 교사, 교육전문직을 대상으로 한 환경교육에 관한 의식과 요구 사항 등에 대한 조사 연구 결과 및 이를 바탕으로 한 환경과 담당 교사의 현직연수와 양성교육에 관한 정책 대안을 제시하였다. 또, 1993년 이후 우리 나라에서 이루어지고 있는 환경교육을 위한 교사교육의 변화 및 발전 현황을 다음과 같이 요약하였다. 첫째, 중등학교의 교사자격증 표시과목으로 '환경'과가 1994년부터 추가됨으로써 현직교사 연수 및 교사양성대학에 환경교육과의 설치가 제도적으로 가능해졌다. 둘째, 제6차 교육과정(1995년부터 적용)에 신설된 중학교 환경 및 고등학교 환경화학 담당 교사 확보를 위한 자격연수(총 180시간)가 1994년 여름방학부터 시작되었으며, 이를 통하여 1996연말까지 환경과 부전공 자격 소지자를 680명 배출하게 되었다. 셋째, 중등학교에서 환경과를 담당할 교사를 양성하기 위한 환경교육과가 전국 3개 대학(한국교원대학교, 공주대학교, 순천대학교)에 설치되었다. 넷째, 1995년부터 전국의 각급 학교에 환경주임교사를 배치하여 학생의 체험적 환경교육을 유동하고, 일반교사에게 환경교육의 중요성을 전파하는 역할을 담당하게 하고 있다. 다섯째, 환경과 부전공 제도가 1996년부터 시작되었다. 대학재학 중에 전공과목에 대하여는 42학점 이상, 환경교육 관련 과목을 21학점 이상 이수한 학생은 환경과 부전공 교사 자격증을 얻을 수 있게 되었다. 여섯째, 교사의 자생단체로 지역별 '환경교사연구회'가 구성되어 환경교육 자체연수, 교재개발과 보급, 환경캠프와 답사 등의 활동을 전개하고 있다. 끝으로 환경교육을 위한 교사교육에서 계속 노력해야 할 사항을 제시하였다.

The claim that the quality assurance measures towards teacher education institutions tend to be deviated from its original purposes has been raised among international scholars, especially in those countries where prospective teachers are oversupplied. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of evaluation systems of teacher's colleges in South Korea and China from a comparative perspective. Based on six areas such as evaluation authority, purposes, cycle, criteria, methods, result utilization, we describe current practices to draw similarities and differences of the two systems. The analyses revealed remarkable similarities despite the slight differences. First, the evaluation was deviated from the quality assurance and support of the teacher's colleges. Second, the evaluation focused on supervision of the institutions and control of quantitative aspects of teacher's colleges instead of quality assurance. Based on the findings, we suggested some policy recommendations to recover the original purposes and functions of teacher education institutional evaluations in South Korea and China.

현재 각 대학의 사범대학에서는 저마다의 교과과정에 의하여 기하교육을 하고 있다. 해석학이나 대수학에 비하여 매우 다양하게 운영되고 있는 기하학 강좌 내용에 대하여 우선 몇 군데 대학에서의 기하학개론 및 미분기하학 강좌 내용을 비교하고, 교사 양성기관에서의 기하학 개론과 미분기하학 강좌에서 다루어야 할 필수 요소를 알아보고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of mathematics teachers' recognition and understanding of mathematics education curriculum at the college of education. The subject of this study is 30 secondary school mathematics teachers who graduated from the department of mathematics education at the college of education. To accomplish this study, loather's knowledge is divided into two groups such as 'subject matter knowledge' (ready-made mathematics) and 'pedagogical content knowledge' (school mathematics and its teaching planning and methods). As a result, this study examines which subjects are required to achieve the pedagogical content knowledge in order to be a professional mathematics teacher.
