  • Informationization level is a very important factor for evaluating the national power and modernization. Informationization propulsion is also important strategy for economic and social development. National informationization is depend on educational informationization and educational informationization is depend on teacher education informationization(TEI). So China steadily carry out the teacher education informationization. In this study, We are concerned about the significance, necessity, general rule and process of TEI. The propulsion systems of TEI are infrastructure, data developing, knowledge and usage of information technology, systematic study, standard and evaluation of TEI.

A Need of In-Service Education for the Professional Development of Middle School Science Teachers' Teaching Practice (중학교 과학교사들의 수업 실행 전문성 개발을 위한 교사교육 요구)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the need of in-service education for the professional development of middle school science teachers' teaching practice. The questionnaire was modified by Young Choi's framework(2010) to survey the level of the progression in the professional development and learning, the degree of in-service education necessity, and the degree of priority of need. The questionnaire was administered to 203 middle school science teachers in Daegu. The mean level of the progression in the professional development and learning were 2.45 and 3.15. The degrees of in-service education necessity to improve level of the progression in the professional development and learning was 3.45, and 3.16. The element and aspect highest degree of priority of need were 'element 1. planning coherent sequences of lessons' and 'aspect 1-4. planning difference among individuals', 'aspect 1-2. planning learning activity'. The degree of in-service education necessity and the degree of priority of need was a significant difference according to almost all of the teachers' characteristics.

  • This paper suggests that the meaning and the direction of character education should be understood and approached from a point of view which human formation is regarded as the essence of education. The best way of approach to the character education with this point of view could start from the teachers' character, because teachers are key actors for character formation of students. This study therefore places strong emphasis on the importance of teachers' character and suggesting liberal education, as a key solution, its aim is raising and developing the whole human being. The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of liberal teacher education. With this purpose of study, the author argues the moral dimension of teaching and the importance of the teachers' role as a character builder in ch.II. In ch.III, the present state of teachers' character education is examined and is argued the necessity of liberal perspective for teacher education to stress the character formation of teachers. The liberal teacher education means that the teacher education is integrated into the quality of liberal education which emphasizes the whole human formation, transformation of personality and critical reflection for human formation. The ch. IV contains exploration of the possibility of liberal teacher education by discussing the compatibility between liberal education and vocational education. Furthermore, it covers how teacher education can reflect the quality of liberal education on the aim of teaching, contents and methods of teacher education concretely.

변화를 위한 교사교육에 관한 탐색

  • 교사가 효과적으로 수업을 하려면 계속해서 개선을 해야 한다. 교사들이 자신의 수업을 계속해서 반성함으로써, 또한 교수와 학습에 대한 지식이 변함에 따라 수업이 변하고 발전한다. 따라서 이상적인 교사는 꾸준히 변하는 교사이다. 이러한 교사역할에서의 변화가 요구되는 합의가 암묵적으로 이루어지고 있으므로, 교사의 역할을 인지적 관점과 사회적 관점으로 나누어 살펴보고, 교사교육을 실행공동체에서의 참여의 변화과정으로 개념화하여, 교사교육 프로그램의 방향과 효과에 대하여 알아본다. 이에 따른 바람직한 교사의 변화 방향을 탐색하여 수학 교실 향상에 대한 앞으로의 시사점을 얻는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 창의적인 S/W 인재 육성을 위한 교사교육 프로그램의 방향을 제시하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 현대 사회는 S/W가 기반이 되는 사회로, S/W는 실생활 뿐 아니라 다양한 학문 분야의 발전에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 사회 패러다임의 변화는 창의적인 S/W 인재 육성 교육이라는 교육 패러다임의 변화를 요구하고 있으며, 교육 패러다임의 변화는 학습자 교육을 담당하는 교사 교육 패러다임의 변화를 요구한다. 따라서 창의적 S/W 인재 육성을 담당하는 교사 교육 프로그램은 학습자의 특성, 학습 맥락, 현대 사회가 필요로 하는 지식을 고려한 교육을 할 수 있도록 개발되어야 하며, 교사의 역할이 과거의 지식 전달자의 역할에서 학습의 조력자, 촉진자, 안내가 역할을 할 수 있는 프로그램이 되도록 해야 한다.

An Use of Dilemma Episodes in Science Teacher Education (딜레마 일화를 활용한 과학 교사 교육)

  • This study aims to explore the usefulness and the way of practical use of dilemma episodes in science teacher education by the responses of teachers on the given dilemma episodes and connected discussions. The research based on the idea of constructivist teacher education, the assumption that dilemmas can provide teachers with an open investigation context, an understanding of nature of science education. The dilemmas episodes in Wallace and Louden(2002) were introduced and discussed in order during graduate course to 11 elementary teachers. Perception on the reality and importance of given dilemmas differed by topics, but many of them were very similar to their experiences, brought active discussion on the issues. Some could not arouse sympathy because of cultural differences. The teachers recognized the dilemma episodes provided thoughtful reflection on their own teaching, opportunity of sharing experience and knowledge with peers, overall view for science education. Most of them gave positive opinion on the use of dilemma episodes in teacher education. Upon these teachers' responses and exploratory research experiences, some practical suggestion were made for science teacher educators.

  • This study was designed to gain insights into investigating pre-service secondary mathematics teacher education for technology integrated curriculum. The progressive expansion of supporting system for those education in US, TPACK, teacher belief, and analysis frameworks for teacher education program were explored. A survey on the technology courses in 42 mathematics education departments was analysed. Technology courses were not opened in 1/3 of the departments because of the lack of lecturers or objection of the faculty members. Common visions as well as curriculum realignment, financial supports are required for implementing technology integrated mathematics education

  • This study is a basic step research for developing mathematics teacher education program using the potential power of explorative softwares for learning geometry. This study investigates the characteristics of the softwares and noteworthy points in its applying process. Analizing an impact of this softwares on the mathematics leaching and learning, this study presents the desirable direction for developing the teacher education program for mathematics teachers to be ableto teach successfully. Focusing on GSP as an to manage classrooms of the 21st century successfully. Focusing on GSP as an excellent explorative software used widely in the current mathematics classrooms, this study investigates the potential contents to be used in the teacher education program for mathematics teachers to get new kinds of experiences about the softwares and suggests implications for choosing contents and instructional methods of the program using the softwares.
