대형 사회기반시설물의 스마트 건전성 평가기술

  • 최근 교량 및 발전구조물, 고층빌딩과 같은 대형 사회기반시설물의 유지관리를 위한 스마트 계측 및 모니터링 기술에 관한 관심과 연구개발 및 적용사례가 증가하고 있다. 특히 국내에서는 과거 '한강의 기적'이라 일컬어지는 초고속 경제성장과정에서 교량, 터널, 항만, 공항, 발전소, 댐 등 대형 사회기반시설물의 건설이 급증하였으나, 설계 당시에 고려되지 못하였던 각종 하중 조건과 환경 요인으로 인해 구조 건전성(structural integrity)의 저하가 일어나고 있다. 또한 최근 도서생활권의 향상 및 물류비용의 개선, 고속전철사업 등으로 인한 장대 교량의 건설, 효율적 국토이용을 위한 초고층빌딩의 건설, 석유자원의 고갈에 대비한 다양한 형태의 발전구조물의 건설 등이 증가하고 있으며, 이들 사회기반시설물의 유지관리를 위한 스마트 계측 및 모니터링 시스템이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. Practical Model to Estimate Road User Cost for Bridge Maintenance Strategy (교량 유지관리 전략 수립을 위한 실용적 도로이용자비용 추정 모델)

  • The road user cost in indirect costs as well as direct costs such as the inspection/ diagnosis cost and the repair/reinforcement cost should be considered as one of the important items in the life-cycle cost-effective design and maintenance of the bridges. To estimate the road user cost, this paper formulates the road user cost as a sum of the user delay cost and the vehicle operating cost considering the detour effect. A numerical traffic simulation and a regression analysis are performed to develop a regression model due to a time delay. The proposed regression model is applied to the generation of the maintenance strategy based on the life-cycle cost and performance, and its effectiveness and applicability is investigated. The road user cost has a great influence on establishing the maintenance strategy, and the proposed regression model could be successfully utilized to estimate the road user cost of a bridge.

  • A computerized information management system of road bridges as a national key infrastructure is needed to effectively collect data of the current status, improve the reliability of data, and use the results from the analysis of the accumulated data as fundamental resources for supporting the establishment of policies. The Internet-based Bridge Information System (BIS), including a database and geographic information systems (GIS), was designed, and the data items were comprised of essential information, such as GIS-based location coordinates, bridge condition grade information and so on. The BIS was developed to be connected with a related information system, and it is possible to make the current information of traffic volume, address and so on by adopting the GIS. To enhance the reliability of the information of current bridge status, it is also possible to improve the accuracy of data through an information verifying function to prevent entry errors. In addition, the BIS can easily support the establishment of policies offering various types of knowledge information that were available in the past based on an analysis of the accumulated data. The intuitive identification and analysis of the current status is to be feasible through a GIS screen. Improvement of the business efficiency and data accuracy and time-series information analysis are available by managing the information of current status through BIS. In the future, it is expected that BIS can be used effectively for the establishment of reasonable maintenance policies of the nation.

The Research on Economic Valuation of Maintenance Alternatives for Bridge (교량 유지관리 대안의 경제성 평가 연구)

  • Bridge is an indispensable facility as a social overhead capital. This study suggests and examines the ways of Economic valuation on maintenance alternatives for Bridge. In order to evaluate each alterative on the basis of the same time, the concepts of the basic year and the valuation year are introduced and applied. Interest rates and discount rates are also applied according to the time when each cost is incurred. This study also suggests the ways that the objects of the valuation on maintenance alternatives are not limited to construction cost, but the valuation period is fixed and so maintenance cost and remaining value incurred by maintenance alternatives are valuated. Furthermore, this study shows the way to estimate and evaluate maintenance cost through direct construction cost and annuity present value coefficient and the way to estimate remaining value based on the basic year. In addition, this study suggests economic valuation system, cost methods and analyses of the result through verification. The proposed system is considered to be applied to practical business.

  • 3차원 정보모델에 기반한 설계 자동화 프로그램의 개발은 좀 더 완성도가 높은 설계안을 도출할 수 있는 방안을 제시할 수 있다. 콘크리트 교량의 설계 과정에서 정형화된 구조 검토 단계 부분을 자동화하고 설계자로 하여금 좀 더 창의적인 설계가 가능하도록 지원하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 특히, 3차원 Building Information Modeling 기반의 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 박스 거더교에 대한 설계 자동화 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 3차원 렌더링 알고리즘을 사용하여, 사용자가 원하는 단면 위치 및 분류 체계에 따라 설계를 자동으로 수행할 수 있도록 적용하였다. 또한 생성된 도면은 데이터 호환이 가능함으로써, 사용자의 편의성이 향상될 것으로 판단된다. 이는 설계자동화 분야에서 강교에 국한되었던 점을 콘크리트교를 포함한 주요 교량으로 확대하고 설계 성과품으로 3차원 모델을 도출할 뿐 아니라 2차원 도면을 연계하도록 구성하여 토목 엔지니어의 기술력을 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.

  • Girder bridges and slab bridges are equipped with a system consisting of a flexible joint unit, support, inverted T shaped abutment, and a separate connecting slab structure. These systems have problems such as an increase in cost due to frequent breakage of the expansion joints and a decrease in durability due to a structure with low moment redistribution. To improve these problems, propose Inegral and Semi-Integral Hybrid Slab Bridge and examine the safety through structural analysis. As a result of the review, Inegral and Semi-Integral Hybrid Slab Bridge was the section stiffness is small. but it is confirmed that the structural safety, ductility and flexibility are higher than existing bridges because the moment redistribution and the force transmission are surely performed.

  • This analysis evaluated small and large temperature gradient effects on the FRP deck considering lightweight of FRP deck and ply orientations at the interface between steel girders and FRP deck. Finally, the analytical results shows the possible failure mechanism of FRP deck under various temperature changes and its corresponding index is suddenly varied depending on the rapid change of temperature on the deck plate.

Development of Bridge Design Guidelines in Kangwondo Mountain Area (강원도 산간계곡형 교량 설계 지침 개발)

  • The purpose of this study is development of bridge design guidelines in Kangwondo mountain area. Much damages heve been wrought by Typhoon Rusa(2002), Maemi(2003), Ewinniar(2006) and severe rain storm in July 2006 in Kangwondo mountain area. The partial cause of these much damages are not consider the regional and geomorphologic condition of river in Kangwondo mountain area. Most of the bridge damages were caused by severe wash out the foundation of pier and abutment. As other reasons, dead trees, branches of the trees and floating materials were catched by pier and deck which make difficult or cut off the flow. Design guidelines are presented by analysis the types and reasons of damages of the disaster.

  • 본 논문에서는 토목 프로젝트를 효과적으로 수행하고자 개발된 CPLM(Construction Project Lifecycle Management) 시스템을 현재 진행 중인 교량 건설 프로젝트에 적용함으로써 실제 토목 프로젝트의 전주기에 걸쳐 CPLM 시스템의 활용 가능성과 효율성을 검토하였다. 테스트베드 대상은 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$대교의 Ramp A 구간과 주경간 교량의 주탑이며, 적용 절차는 대상에 대한 정보 모델을 구축하고 CPLM 시스템을 통한 참여 조직간 협업을 수행함으로써 시스템의 효율성 및 활용성을 도출하는 과정으로 이루어졌다. 본 연구를 통해 보다 효과적인 토목 프로젝트 관리를 위한 CPLM 시스템의 개선안을 도출하고, 토목 프로젝트의 효율적 수행을 위한 방향을 제시하였다.
