Differences of Perceptions between Pre-service and In-service Elementary School Teachers on the Prevention and Intervention of School Violence (학교폭력의 예방 및 대책에 관한 교대생과 초등교사의 인식 비교)

  • The purpose of study was to analyze the differences of perceptions between pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers on the prevention and intervention of school violence. For this purpose, 459 student teachers and 289 in-service teachers has responded a questionnaire consisted of 12 core questions and 8 supplementary questions about the prevention and intervention of school violence. The findings of this study was as follows: First, in-service elementary school teachers perceived the problem of school violence more seriously than student teachers. Second, in-service elementary school teachers and student teachers perceived the lack of parents' concern of their children and the disturbed friendship as major causes to arouse school violence, and insisted to improve students' emotional self-control and social skills in order to prevent school violence. Third, in coping with students' violent behaviors they took the need to interview the student' parents and to invite them to meet each other halfway. Fourth, With government's comprehensive countermeasures against school violence they acknowledged the importance of policy alternatives but made doubt of their effectiveness. Finally, both in-service elementary school teachers and student teachers approved of a plan to assign the required subject of 'Prevention and Intervention of School Violence' to the student teachers, particularly student teachers approved more positively than in-service elementary school teachers.

  • This research paper intends to investigate and review the new technology of patent registration trend for the most recent domestic retaining wall and bridge abutment, and to apply the technology appropriately to the actual retaining wall and bridge abutment construction. Investigated new technological patents for retaining wall include pre-fabricated PC retaining wall construction method that reduces section force with prestressed PS steel bars, pre-fabricated Coupler-Tension retaining wall, clay reinforced retaining wall block for road, earth reinforced retaining wall block that induces uniform settlement, and etc. Investigated new technologies for abutment are abutment construction method that uses sheet pile, monolithic bridge with complex abutments, construction method for abutment bridge, earth reinforced abutment structure and etc.

  • Under the banner "Toward Global Excellence in Teacher Education", Daegu National University of Education has strived for the single aim of excellence in pre-service and in-service for over fifty years. Specially the department of Mathematics education aims to develope students' mathematical power which is related to elementary school mathematical concepts & theories. However not a few of the students seem to have test-anxiety which is relate to teacher recruitment examination. In these view, we conclude that students must have been suffered from test anxiety. Consequently the results of the study are follow. $\cdot$ 2nd paper-pencil test of the elementary school teacher recruitment(2010) has been emphasized on statement of examinee logocal thought about all 10 subjects. $\cdot$ 3rd test of the elementary school teacher recruitment(2010) has been focused on only speaking english of examinee. Thus we conclude that these Recruitment Examination(2010) couldn't minimize the test anxiety of the students. Therefore next test of the elementary school Teacher Recruitment should contain on mathematical problem-solving in elementary school mathematics textbooks.

  • The purpose of this investigation was to examine and compare pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers' beliefs about Science-Technology-and Society (STS), particularly beliefs about the nature of science and technology, their interaction within society, and the epistemology of science. Large percentage of pre-service and in-service elementary school teachers were understood to perceive as follows : 1. they regarded the science as 〃Knowledge scheme aiming content'and technology as 'skill for solution of actual problems'. 2. they revealed themselves to perceive tat science/ technology influence our lives through new terms and ideas, that science/ technology is affected by governmental policies and that all the people concerned including scientist and technologist should participate in the course of decision making. 3. they perceived that scientist perform their studies by characteristic abilities and that the studies are affected by their religious viewpoint. Moreover, they were understood to perceive that scientific knowledge are constructed through social interaction. 4. they perceived that scientist discover and develop scientific laws by scientific methods such as verification and certification, and that those scientific laws could be changed later.

  • 담수산 rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus는 담수산 어류 종묘생산시 가장 널리 이용되는 초기 먹이생물로 이용이 가능하며 특히, 입이 작은 열대 관상어의 먹이로 이용되고 있다. Rotifer의 생식은 처녀생식과 유성생식을 교대로 하는 종으로색 유성생식에 의해 형성된 내구란은 종 보존용, 대량배양시 seed로 쉽게 이용될 수 있으며 환경 독성학의 실험생물로 많이 이용되고 있다. 특히 최근 해수산 rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis 내구란을 대량생산하여 Artemia cyst처럼 간편하게 부화시 어류에게 직접 먹이로 공급할 수 있는 기술 수준에 도달하였다.   • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to provide the basic materials to form sense of value for health and to emphasize the importance of physical education by comparative analysis of physique, physical fitness, body composition and blood. Methods: The subjects were 188 female college students and they were classified 3 groups by BMI: lower weight group (LWG), normal weight group (NWG), and over weight group (OWG). Results: In the physique, there was significantly high in order LWGNWG, OWG in unbalance of the upper and lower parts of the body, and LWG, OWGNWG, OWG in HDL-C. Conclusions: In the result of this study, it is recognized that regular exercise as well as eating right, life style are needed and offered to take part in the exercise programs for healthy campus life of female college students.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze pre-service elementary school teacher's enjoyment factors experienced in PE classes. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 30 students attending in G University of Education were selected in this study and data were collected through open-ended questionnaire and in-depth interviews. As a result of the analysis, this study have classified the enjoyment factors of pre-service teachers in PE classes. First, happiness of achievement through physical activity Second, inspiration of self-confidence through praise Third, variety of program presentation for arouse interesting Fourth, desire expression to aggressive physical activity Fifth, personal relationship of PE teacher Sixth, enjoyment of community spirit and interaction.

Structural Stability, Weathering and Conservation Method of Granite Standing Sculptured Buddha at Hwangsang-dong, Kumi (구미 황상동 마애여래입상의 구조적 안정성, 풍화 및 보존방안)

  • Rock composition of the Hwangsang-dong Granite Standing Sculptured Buddha (Treasure No. 1122) in the Kumi City is biotite-hornblende granodiorite which consists of about 30 pieces of individual rock blocks of same compositions. However, the cap rocks is pebble-bearing coarse sandstone. Rock blocks of the Standing Buddha and surrounding out crops occur well developed several joint systems of $N25^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}W$ strike and nearly vertical (70 to $85^{\circ}SE$) dipping. Rock blocks of the Standing Buddha showed vertical, horizontal and oblique joints, and those blocks are well supported by individual blocks. However, the junction part of the blocks are under dangerous situation due 10 seriously mechanical and chemical weathering. Host rock of the Standing Buddha belongs to the HW grade, therefore mostly rock-forming minerals of the granodiorite Standing Buddha altered with clay and iron hydroxide minerals by mineralogical and chemical weathering. Near surface of the Standing Buddha show spore and mycelium of green algaes, and a joint plane alive with weeds. We suggest that if structural stability for the Standing Buddha remove essentially a unstable rock blocks from the main body, and the main body necessitate supporting by rock bolting method because of repeated unstability and minimizing stress to the rock blocks. For the opened joint planes, fractured surface and alive weeds will attempt to fill in a petro-epoxy, petro-filler and biochemical treatments for the algaes, and ground water curtain and wall seems to be necessary for water flow and diminishing humidity of the Standing Buddha.
