  • 유비쿼터스 환경을 실현하기 위한 핵심 기술로 RFID가 주목받고 있고 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. RFID는 점점 소형화되고 주변의 모든 환경 및 사물에 부착 될 것이다. 이러한 환경에서 RFID Tag가 부착된 개체들의 관리와 Middleware의 중요성이 부각되고 많은 기관에서 연구가 진행되고 있다. USN/RFID 환경 하에서 사용하기 위한 Middleware는 다음과 같은 기능이 필요하다. 첫째, RFID가 부착 된 개체가 주위 환경에 민감한 개체일 경우 Middleware에서 자체적으로 상황을 인지하여 대처해야 한다. 둘째, 방대한 양의 raw 데이터 처리를 부하 없이 처리해야 한다. 셋째, 실제 RFID를 적용했을 경우 한 종류의 RFID 장비만을 사용하는 것이 아니므로 다양한 종류의 RFID 장비를 인식할 수 있는 Middleware가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 RFID에 센서와 무선통신 기술을 결합하여 상황인식(context-aware)이 가능하고, 분산처리 환경을 도입하여 방대한 양의 데이터를 처리 가능하며, 다양한 프로토콜이나 주파수의 장비를 통합적으로 적용 가능한 Middleware의 설계를 제안한다.

  • 국내외 방송환경이 디지털로 급속히 변화함에 따라서 지상파, 케이블, 위성 등의 기존 방송망을 이용하며 서비스 제공자가 제공하는 데이터 서비스를 사용자가 요청 할 때 전송하는 데이터 방송은 기존의 비디오, 오디오 방송 프로그램 이외에 방송과 관련된 데이터 또는 방송과는 직접 관련이 없는 순수한 데이터를 제공하게 되었다. 데이터 방송 표준 단체인 DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting)에서는 데이터 방송 시 데이터 전송 기법으로 데이터 스트리밍(Data Streaming), 데이터 파이핑(Data Piping), 데이터 캐루셀(Data Carousel), 멀티프로토콜 인캡슐레이션(Multiprotocol Encapsulation), 객체 캐루셀(Object Carousel)을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 방송에 사용되는 데이터를 효율적으로 관리하기 위하여 메시지 캐슁과 모듈 캐슁을 기반으로 한 데이터 캐루셀 매니저 설계와 구현에 관한 내용을 다룬다.

  • Some duplicate processes are happen in developing games under the diverse platforms. Implementing functions. like processing and managing data, in every platforms have an influence on game development. In this paper, we propose a multi-platform server framework that can simulate combat games such as one server on any platform. It was designed to be easy to debug using a protocol consisting of attribute-value pairs by the JSON data format. Since it is independent of the programming language, it has the advantage of being able to communicate with various languages. The server proposes a model that can easily upgrade the structure or the specification using the Amazon web server.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a child health care protocol for teachers in child day care centers. Methods: The ADDIE model with 10 Kid Keys was applied to develop this child health care protocol. All contents were developed through content validity test by 7 professionals and need assessment and evaluation by child day care center teachers. Results: This protocol consisted of 10 keys, as follows: "Health Examination/Growth & Development", "Practice of Health Life", "Management of Communicable Disease", "Negligent Accident", "Coping with Emergency and Transference", "Child Abuse", "Nutrition/Obesity", "Quality Assurance of Staff", "Parent Education", "Guidance & Supervision of Child Day Care Centers". The contents contained goals, objectives, teaching content, suggested activities for children, writing forms related to each subject, and self-evaluation sheet. Conclusion: This protocol can be practical and effective for child health care in child day care centers and it is hoped that it will be utilized in more child day care centers.

  • Currently, one of the main purposes of the military using Unmanned Air System (VAS) is to perform surveillance and reconnaissance of hostile enemy. To carry out their mission, Unmanned aerial vechicle (UAV) transmits video images to ground control station using ISR devices installed on the UAV. After receiving the images, the ground control station distribute them to various type of users. At this case, it is important to keep QoS. This paper presents data delivery and QoS managements using DDS for DDS for UAV video images. The experiment result, based on H.264 and JPEG2000, shows that DDS standard is able to be applied to video image transmission for UAS.

  • IEEE WAVE is going through the final standardization process as the wireless access technology which provides drivers in high-speed vehicles with safety-related information and commercial services This paper presents an application-layer protocol for safe driving assistant service and a service system emulator based on this protocol. The safe driving assistant system includes a construction zone information service and a vehicle crash notification service, an emergency vehicle notification service, a probing service and a dilemma zone decision assistant service.   • In this paper we describe a VoIP transcript system which is able to record call conversation between counselor and customer in an IP contact center based on IP telephony environment. The transcript system, designed and implemented in this paper, uses packet sniffering to capture packets without imposing network overhead on overall system. It can decode H.323 and SIP which are used to setup call sessions in VoIP environment and captures voice data and record without any loss of contents. Implemented transcript system can be integrated with CTI system in that it can manage and record call more effectively. It is designed generically so that it is implemented both on Windows and Linux environment.

  • The traditional methodology of online game development is separating server development module and cilent development module. However developing and maintaining expenses have been increased a lot due to duplicated modules such as definitions of network protocols and managements of planning data. In this paper, we suggest an advanced methodology of online game development based on the integrated single module with client and server. Its effectiveness was shown by applying the proposed methodology in the development of the online game 'Chungmukong's Battle on the Sea'. In this case, the project size was reduced by 15.1% by using the integrated single module with client and server.

  • This paper suggests a wireless diagnostic technique using SMS (Short Message Service) of mobile telecommunication network for pole transformer. The temperature and current of pole transformer are acquired and the average and standard deviation are transmitted using SMS of mobile telecommunication network when transformer is overloaded The algorithm and protocol is design to fit the wireless diagnostic technique. By using the wireless method, the weak point of accessability can overcome. It is possible to manage, control, and monitor many transformers with just one server.

  • In this paper, I will describe the trends of multicast address allocation mechanism. IP Multicast efficiently supports this type of transmission by enabling sources to send a single copy of a message to multiple recipients who explicitly want to receive the information. Generally, MAAs server or MADCAP servers are used to allocate multicast addresses. As the need of home networking and autoconfiguring network mechanism has been increased, not only automatic host IP configuration but also automatic multicast address generation mechanism was demanded. in this paper, I will explain the automatic multicast address mechanism in a host. management techniques and the trends of multicast address generation and allocation mechanism that is bong now discussed In IETF.
