Work delay is the one of facts that make the reliability of construction business decrease. Building a causal classification system of work delay and deducing the managemental item for it gives a great competition to the construction industry. It is, however, so rare to study about work delay so far. Therefore, this research analyzed a questionnaire, which is focussing on the public apartment construction, to look into the causal root factors and deduce the work delay factors. Finally, we suggest a major managing point to remove effectively the work delay factors.

This research is accomplished for the purpose of providing fundamental materials to improve the level of prevention consciousness by deducting awareness difference through analyzing awareness level about terror preparation of members of crisis management system - the public service personnel in charge of crisis management in a self-governing body and the fire fighting public service personnel. For this research, That is measured through the priority order survey about a specialty of public service personnel in charge of crisis management and a level of crisis prepartion and a cooperation between crisis management system and etc. As a result of analysis, it is revealed that there is a difference about the priority order of measurement variable to terror preparation but all the members are recognizing the importance of that.

This paper proposes a priority based AOI management model as a method to effectively process message traffic for collaboration in virtual environments. Where message traffic reaches the maximum capacity of the message replay server in DVE, some of the events might be delayed to be updated at the remote clients. Because existing AOI models depend only on the occurrence time of events, they have a problem that more important events in the context might be processed later than less serious ones. Close Interactions with other participants are relatively more important than simple events which happen at a distance from the participant. This study classifies the priorities of events according to the degree of interest, and proposes a method to reduce processing delay time of events highly interested by a user. The proposed model offers a way to effectively utilize limited capacity of a server using a priority queue mechanism, which is able to handle different kinds of events. To prevent from starvation of simple events and to give fairness to the proposed algorithm, event occurrence time is also considered as well as degree of interest when processing events.

Large landslides have occurred more than 100 times each year by the influence of cyclones and torrential rain each year in Vietnam. Nevertheless, they $don^{\circ}$Øt have a scientific management system to prevent the landslide disaster in advance. In this study, we acquisited the risk factor and damage factor about each slope throughout basic survey at Hoang Sa Costal Road, Danang and at Ho Chi Minh Road, Quangnam. The priority of investigation technique considering of the exposure characteristics of the road slope in Vietnam developed by the empirical analysis with the acquired data. As a result, we can set the foundation of scientific management for the road slope management system in Vietnam.

Recently, the I/O performance of a single node is rapidly improving due to the advent of high-performance SSD. As a result, the next-generation storage platform based on SSD has received a great deal of attention and such storage platforms are increasingly adopted to commodity servers or data centers that look for the high-bandwidth computation and I/O. However, building all SSD-based storage platform may not be cost-effective because the price per storage capacity is very high as compared to that of HDD. In this paper. we propose a hybrid file management solution, called HyPLVM(Hybrid Priority Logical Volume Manager), which combines the strength of SSD with the desirable aspects of low-price, high-storage capacity HDD. HyPLVM prioritizes the files and directories to be accessed by users, in order to determine the target storage device (SSD/HDD) in which files are allocated, while mitigating the cost of building storage platforms.

Recently, BIM(Building Information Model) is widely applied to all stages of SOC (Social Overhead Capital)facilities life cycle from planning to maintenance. While BIM is an analysis tool focussing the inner space of facilities, GIS is principally applied to analyzing relationship between facilities. Therefore, integrating BIM and GIS, we expect to get a potential synergy effect in aspects of effective information management and various analysis for SOC facilities. This paper deals with prioritizing SOC facilities for applying BIM/GIS integrating platform to local governments. First, investigate facilities required by law, and identify SOC facilities suitable for SOC characteristics. Second, analyze the effectiveness and applicability of BIM/GIS integrating platform applying each facility. For the purpose, we quantify effectiveness and applicability in aspects of UIS management and GIS functions. Lastly, prioritize the SOC facilities applying BIM/GIS integrating platform.
