Analysis of Water Quality and Discharge Characteristics of Close-to-nature Creek Improvement (자연형 소하천정비사업 수질 및 유량특성 분석)

  • 본 연구는 자연형 소하천의 유형별, 지역별 자연형 하천공법의 파악 및 시범사업의 적용.평가를 통하여 소하천 특성에 적합한 치수구조와 안정성을 갖추면서 생태계와 조화를 이루고, 친수성과 경관 등 소하천의 환경기능을 향상시키는데 필요한 공사시행의 설계도서를 작성하는데 그 목적을 가지고 수행되었다. 자연형 이동소하천정비 시범사업은 축제공, 배수공, 구조물공, 조경공 등의 공종과 자연석 쌓기, 식생축조블록, 그린리버블록 등 11개의 다양한 호안공법이 적용되어 2003년 12월에 준공하였다. 본 자연형 이동소하천 정비시범 사업에서는 공사 전.중.후에 '하천수질 및 유량측정, 홍수량 측정 및 수리분석 그리고 생태계, 하천수리'에 대한 모니터링 사업을 2003년부터 2006년 현재까지 계속적으로 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 자연형 소하천정비 시범사업 중에서 유역 내 2003년부터 2005년까지 하천수질 및 유량측정 모니터링 결과를 분석한 것이다. 하천수질 및 유량측정은 하천환경계획을 위한 기본조사로서 효과적인 하천환경관리를 도모하기 위한 기준을 정하기 위한 것이다. 하천 수질 및 유량측정은 하천수질이 악화되는 갈수기를 택하여 월별 일일 4회(6시간 간격)에 걸쳐 시행되었고, 수질측정 항목은 BOD, DO, TP에 대하여 조사 분석되었다.

  • Value Engineering(VE) is being applied as an useful tool to eliminate the waste of cost and noneffective factors previously in construction projects. Ministry of construction and transportation' has been accordingly enforcing extensionally design phase VE to the construction costing more than 10 billion won, an importance of design phase VE. Although there are legal supports and technical effects, an effect about an introduction of design phase VE can not be applied properly because of several problems at the process. So, in this study, try to find out competency factors of design phase VE to enforce a competency of VE team as a basic database for developing a check list, and estimate weight. For the result, find out a competency evaluation item and organize as a team knowledge, a team work skill and a team attitude. Perform a first survey to verify a reliability and propriety regarding the found competency evaluation, perform the second survey competency as to evaluation item of the found 1, 2, 3 class and then estimate the weight by AHP.

A Study on Expansion of Headings of Korean Decimal Classification Based Upon the Analysis of Directory Classifications of Internet Resources in Food and Culture (음식문화 분야 인터넷자원 분류체계 분석을 통한 한국십진분류법의 항목명 확장에 관한 연구)

  • Library classification system is based upon academic disciplines, However, it is difficult to classify for Internet resources due to its lack of up-to-datedness and practicality. Especially, headings of Korean Decimal Classification need to reflect practical aspects and it should be also developed for classification of web based resources. The purposes of this study are to analyze the structures of directory classifications in Internet resources and to suggest additional headings of KDC as a practical library classification as well as a classification system for internet resources. Directory classification systems of Naver, Yahoo, Kyobo Internet book store, Amazon were selected and their food and culture subjects were analyzed for this study. The headings of KDC were compared to them and new possible headings were suggested with reference of NDC and DDC in the area of food and culture. This study provided a way of developing KDC for a classification system for Internet resources as well as library materials.

Comparison of QA Protocols for Linear Acclerator Published in Europe, America, and Japan (유럽, 미국, 일본의 선형가속기 정도관리 비교)

  • For the treatment of cancer using computer controlled linear accelerator, it is important to ensure that all equipments are operated properly. Therefore, many studies were performed and published on the safe use of radiotherapy machine controlled by computer logic and microprocessor These studies provided methods of preventing accident from software and hardware failure. In Korea, the use of computer controlled linear accelerator has increased over the past 10 years. However, there are no standard protocols for quality assurance (QA) of linear accelerator. In this study, three QA protocols from America, Japan, and Europe were collected and summarized. In addition, agreement and disagreement among the protocols were analyzed. In conclusion, the QA items included in the protocols were similar among the various QA protocols although there were differences in performance frequencies.

  • This study was designed to provide basic visiter information for establishing effective park management strategies. A questionnaire survey was at major entry points in Hallasan National Park(Eorimok and Youngsil). 237 random samples among the visitors on the way back home from their visit were chosen to represent general visitor population. As for the results, visitors' recreational satisfaction level with the area was relatively high. The majority of the visitors were satisfied with 20 uses and management related attributes provided by Hallasan National Park system. However, considering lack of sense of hygienic sanitary facilities, consequential deterioration of natural and cultural resources, and entrance fees as well as other costs, there needs to be a managerial priority on visiter service.

Study on Water Quality Predictability through Machine Learning Techniques in Non-point Pollutant Management Area (비점오염원관리지역의 머신러닝 기법을 통한 수질 예측 가능성 연구)

  • 강우에 의해 발생하는 비점오염물질의 수질 데이터가 충분하지 않아 비점오염원이 문제가 되고 있는 유역의 수질개선을 위한 대책마련이 어려운 실정이다. 기존에 환경부에서 운영하고 있는 자동측정망은 1시간 간격으로 데이터를 축적하고 있으나, 비점오염원이 문제가 되는 유역에 설치되어 있지 않거나 수온, DO, pH 등 현장항목만을 측정하고 있어 하천의 수질오염을 대표할 수 있는 T-P나 SS 등의 수질분석 항목의 부재하다. 이로인해 유역의 수질개선 대책을 수립하기 위한 오염원의 현황을 파악하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 비점오염원관리지역 중 골지천 유역을 대상으로 수질항목별 상관성을 분석하고, 실측자료를 기반으로 DT, MLP, SVM, RF, GB, XGB 등의 머신러닝 기법을 통해 수질 예측 가능성을 연구하였다. 상관관계 분석결과 입력변수인 탁도 항목이 예측 수질과 뚜렷한 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났으나, 그 외 항목에서는 약한 상관관계를 보이거나 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 머신러닝 기법을 활용한 수질 예측 분석 결과, 검무교와 태봉2교, 제1여량교는 RF 기법에서 결정계수(R2) 0.57~0.86, RMSE 16.49~175.60으로 예측성이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 관말교는 SVM 기법에서 R2 0.65, RMSE 57.69로, 송계교는 XGB 기법에서 R2 0.74, RMSE 282.86으로 가장 예측성이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과와 같이 머신러닝 기법을 활용한 수질 예측은 가능하나, 예측성이 우수한 머신러닝 기법의 R2 비교 결과, 유역면적이 큰 제1여량교와 작은 관말교에서 0.57과 0.65로 다른 지점에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. RMSE 비교 결과, 상류 산간지역에 발생한 국지성 호우의 영향으로 흙탕물이 가장 자주 발생하는 태봉2교 지점과 우선관리지역이 합류되는 송계교 지점에서 175.60과 282.86으로 예측값과 실측값의 오차가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과와 같이 하천 수질을 예측하기 위해서는 유역면적 혹은 유역특성과 관련한 기초자료를 추가로 적용하여 머신러닝 기법을 적용 해야할 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 본 연구에서 예측한 수질 항목 이외에 입력변수를 추가로 확보하여 수질의 예측 가능성을 검토해야 할 것으로 보여진다.

Recognition Study on Introduction of HACCP to Industry Foodservice (사업체 급식의 HACCP 제도 도입을 위한 인지도 조사)

  • For the introduction of HACCP to industry food service, a survey was conducted from 150 dieticians and 40 managers on their recognition on HACCP system. The questionnaire of the survey included the status of current food safety management, management responsibilities, recognition on HACCP, problems in HACCP introduction. The majority of respondents was satisfied with the current food safety management, and the food service managers were more confident than dieticiant in terms of food safety. Foodservice managers (100%) and dieticians (96%) recognized HACCP system; however, they responded the application of HACCP to industry food service were only 27% and 12.5%, respectively. They pointed out the reasons that they cannot introduce HACCP to their industry food service were the lack of benefits and good facilities. Dieticians strongly recognized the need of correction oi food safety manasement in industry food service, compared with food service managers. The results suggest that the introduction of HACCP to industry food servife should be accomplislled by continuous education and information on food safety, improving facilities and a variety of benefits to HACCP-implemented companies from the government.

Satisfaction Level and Performance Evaluation for CM Service in Korea (국내 건설사업관리 업무만족도 및 성과평가)

  • The domestic CM business market has continued to grow, but its size is relatively small yet in comparison with the total size of the domestic construction industry. Evaluation of CM projects was conducted through questionnaire surveys. Both clients and CM firms showed positive satisfaction levels. Nevertheless, the clients' satisfaction levels were relatively low in safety management, cost management, and document and information management. Superior areas of CM tasks were time management and recovery scheduling, quality control and technical instruction, and design value engineering. On the other hand, inferior areas of CM tasks were claim analysis and dispute resolution, cost estimation, and life cycle costing. Both entities have agreed with the positive effects of CM involvement in terms of cost saving, time reduction, quality improvement, and safety incidents prevention to at least 0~5% extent.

  • The aim of this paper is to develop a performance evaluation model for PPP (Public-Private Partnership) projects that appropriately reflects the important traits that are unique to PPP projects. To this end, 1) it defines a set of distinct perspectives involved in the PPP projects and their associated success factors that might differ amongst the perspectives; 2) it identifies the key performance indicators and suggests the performance evaluation criteria for each indicator; and 3) it builds a performance evaluation model by matching the success factors from each perspective with performance measure criteria as well as applies the model to the two selected BTO road projects in Korea. The process of model construction and its application confirms significant differences between the main stakeholder perspectives typically involved in PPP projects, which highlights the need for an evaluation model tailored for PPP projects by taking into account the distinct perspectives. The results from the PPP evaluation model developed in the study is compared against the results from the existing ex-post evaluation model for construction projects in general. The former shows a closer match with the results from the user satisfaction survey conducted. This new evaluation framework and the performance indicators entailed in it permits a balanced evaluation of PPP projects as it takes into account different perspectives involved in PPP projects as well as an understanding of the factors affecting the success of PPP projects. While the construction of the model is based on transport projects, it is applicable to different types of PPP projects through variation with the weight allocation amongst different success factors and/or additions or other adjustments to the performance evaluation criteria as required.

A Case Study on the Risk Impact and Loss Cost of Temporary Aircraft Runway Construction (임시 활주로 건설공사의 위험영향 및 손실비용 사례분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the risk factors that occurred during the construction of the temporary aircraft runway and to analyse the risk costs and loss costs. For this purpose, actual construction data made during the construction of the aircraft runway were investigated. And the risk factors that occurred during the construction work were derived. So the increased construction costs and loss costs due to risk factors were analyzed. The results of this study are as follows: 1)The number of risk factors that occurred during the construction of the aircraft runway was derived from eight. 2)It was calculated that the total risk cost of 5.2million won, the risk cost of the owner's should be 243 million won and the cost of the contractor should be 277million won. 3)Owner's was up 2.36% from its planned budget and the contractor lost -277million won out of its planned profit of 443million won, resulting in a residual profit of 165million won. The results of the study are used as a reference for estimating risk factors and contingency that should be considered in aircraft runway construction.
