Citizens should be sensitive to the complex and controversial SSIs (Socioscientific Issues), be able to make a responsible decision with evidence and empathy, and furthermore take political action for the larger welfare. The premise of this research is that understanding the nature of science (NOS) takes an important role when students and adults participate in the discourse on SSIs because SSI reasoning requires individuals to examine information and counter-information with skepticism. We therefore designed SSI programs that were incorporated with NOS by adapting a contextualized-reflective approach. The leading research question was to what extent SSI contexts contributed to promoting students' understanding of NOS. A total of 71 11th grade students participated in this program. The school was located in an urban city near the capital city of Seoul, South Korea. We designed SSI programs to cover the issues of genetically modified organisms, climate change, and nuclear energy. Each issue required four to six class periods to complete. We conducted pre- and post-program tests using the revised VNOS-C, recorded group discussions or debates and collected student worksheets to observe the increase of student NOS understanding. As a result of this program, students showed moderate improvement in their understanding of NOS.

미래의 불확실한 농업상황을 체계적으로 과학적으로 예측함으로써 개별농가가 영농계획 수립의 지침으로 삼는 것은 물론 정부의 농업정책수립에도 활용될 수 있도록 과거와 현재의 가능한 관련정보를 수집정리하고 이를 과학적으로 분석하여 미래상황을 예측하고 널리 홍보하는 과정이다.

This study sought to find out the status of medical libraries in Korea that provide information services related to the Covid-19 situation, and how the librarian's perception of the Covid-19 situation, the main body of the library's information provision, affects the provision of related information services. For this purpose, we checked the website for Covid-19 information service. In order to understand the degree of awareness of Covid-19, Grunig's Situational Theory was applied to classify four types of librarians according to the degree of problem recognition, constraint recognition, and involvement recognition, and to analyze how the three perceptions affect Covid-19 related information services. As a result, only 25 out of 144 korean medical libraries provided information services related to Covid-19. The librarian, the main agent of the library's information provision, found that the problem recognition and involvement recognition in the Covid-19 situation were high, constraint recognition were low, and the level of information service was very active. And only constraint recognition has been shown to have a significant impact on providing Covid-19 related information services. Further research when future sources are available and follow-up research on how librarians' perceptions affect library operations are also proposed.

상황정보(context information)는 사용자의 요구와 주변 상황이 수시로 변화하는 이동통신 환경에서 더욱 중요하게 활용된다. 따라서, 차세대 이동통신 시스템의 서비스는 음성, 텍스트, 멀티미디어 서비스의 고도화에 이어 일상 곳곳에 편재된 센서 및 컴퓨터들이 수집한 각종 환경정보를 효과적으로 상호 공유하여 사용자 및 주변 환경의 상황(context)을 알아내고 그에 맞는 다양한 정보에 근거하여 자발적으로 서비스를 제공하는 상황인식(context-aware) 특징을 가지게 될 것이다. 이러한 상황인식 서비스를 가능하게 하기 위해서는 사용자 및 사물 등의 객체를 인식하고, 이들의 현 상태에 따른 상황정보를 수집하여 서비스에 적응하는 기술 등이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 IMT-2000 이후의 차세대 이동통신 시스템의 진화방향을 상황인식 서비스 제공 관점에서 살펴보고, 상황인식 서비스를 위한 관련 기술과 차세대 이동통신 환경에서 상황인식 서비스가 어떻게 제공될 수 있을지를 살펴본다.

모바일 환경이 발전하고 보편화됨에 따라 사용자의 상황정보를 인식하고 추론하여 서비스를 제공하는 상황인식 서비스에 대해 관심이 높아지고 있다. 상황인식 서비스는 사용자 및 주변 환경의 상황을 알아내고 공유하여 그에 맞는 서비스를 제공한다. 이를 위한 상황정보는 사용자의 요구와 주변 상황이 수시로 변화하는 이동통신 환경에서 중요하게 활용된다. 본 논문에서는 컨텍스트의 수집과 공유를 위해 안드로이드 기반의 컨텍스트폰 플랫폼과 컨텍스트 서버를 구현하여 사용자 상황 정보를 시각화 하고 서로 공유할 수 있게 하였다. 상황인식에 대한 연구에는 주로 위치 및 이동에 관한 연구가 많은 부분을 차지하고 있는데, 위치정보는 상황인식을 위해 반드시 필요한 정보이며 이를 통해 사용자의 현재 상황을 파악할 수 있는 중요한 정보로 활용되고 있다. 안드로이드 기반의 컨텍스트폰 플랫폼과 컨텍스트 서버, GPS를 이용하여 사용자의 위치를 추적하거나 찾아내어 실시간으로 상대방의 위치 정보와 사용자 간의 거리를 알아내어 공유하고 맵을 통해 사용자 위치를 파악하여 위치와 관련된 서비스를 제공하려 한다.

Recently, Ubiquitous innovation is being promoted so that they can support the uHealthcare provide management to human's health. It is thus necessary to conduct such research on the medical care environment where there is a high demand for utilization of status information. In the current situation, there is a lack of research on measures of security processing and monitoring patient status information produced from rapid growth of infra within Medical environment. This study suggests a solution of using RFID to gather patient information such as inpatient information, location of treatment room, progress of patient, humidity, temperature, and diagnostic status, after which the information are protect and processed using security level method.

상황은 실세계에 존재하는 실체의 상태를 특징화하여 정의한 정보로 정의할 수 있으며, 상황인식은 이러한 상황 정보가 상호 작용하여 인간의 현재 상황을 특성화 할 수 있는 기술적 방법을 의미한다고 할 수 있다. 실세계의 상태를 표현하는 것은 정보의 표현 및 지식 표현과 관련되며, 상황인식 컴퓨팅은 이러한 지식 표현 방법에서 출발한다고 할 수 있다. 상황인식 컴퓨팅을 근간으로 하는 응용 기술로는 사용자와 서비스간의 연관성에 기반을 둔 기술이며, 구현 방법 및 적용 기술은 다양한 형태로 구상될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 상황인식 컴퓨팅 응용 기술에 대한 동향으로 디지털 홈 환경을 적용 대상으로 하는 센싱기술, 네트워킹 기술, 멀티미디어 기술 및 지능형 에이전트 기술을 유기적으로 결합할 수 있는 광의의 상황인식 컴퓨팅 기반의 응용 기술 사례를 중심으로 소개하고 이 기술 범주에 속한 세부 기술에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다.

VTS에서 항해하는 선박들은 자율적인 행위자들로서 서로 영향을 끼치며 상호작용하는 한편 서로의 안전에 대해서 상호의존하게 된다. 복잡한 항해상황에서의 불확실성으로 인한 위험을 극복하기 위한 방안으로 최근에 상황자각 이론이 각광을 받고 있다. 하지만 다수의 선박들에 의한 개별적인 상황판단이 제대로 이루어진다 하더라도 동일한 상황에 대한 해석이 서로 다른 경우 사고로 이어질 우려가 높다. 본질적으로 VTS 항해는 인지 과업을 서로 도와가면서 항해하는 시스템이라고 할 수 있다. 본고에서는 팀 상황자각이 공통기반과 동일한 멘탈모델에 의해 성공적으로 이루어지는 과정을 논의하고, 상황자각 실패 사례를 통해 좀 더 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 또한 팀 상황자각과 관련하여 커뮤니케이션의 중요성을 강조하고 VTS 항해 상황에서 항해자들의 팀상황자각을 실질적으로 도울 수 있는 방법으로 '공동운용화면' 시스템을 제안하였다.

본 논문의 이전 연구[1]에서 모바일 사용자들의 지난 상황데이터(context data)를 기반으로 다음 상황 예측을 위한 확률론적 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 가중치를 나타내는 멀티그래프에 속하는 새로운 그래프 구조를 통한 확률론적 이론에 근거하여 일반적인 상황을 예측한다. 본 논문에서는 이전 연구보다 더 정확한 상황 예측을 위해 목표 상황과 관련된 상황데이터만을 선별하는 특징 선택 방법과 상황데이터가 적을 경우 균등분포를 가정하여 상황의 예측가능성을 높일 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 외에도 사용자의 다양한 생활 패턴에 대한 예측방법과 이동통신사 간의 고객정보를 보안성 있게 공유하기 위한 방법을 제시한다.

효율적인 연구개발을 위해서는 관련된 여러 자원들을 적절하게 활용할 수 있어야 하며, 기업연구소는 자원의 축적과 활용, 의사결정 지원을 위하여 연구관리시스템의 도입과 정착을 추진하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 인간연구소에서의 R&D 지식관리시스템의 성공적인 실행을 위한 방안을 도출하기 위해 조직상황요인 이론을 적용하였다. 즉 조직상황요인에서의 조직구조와 연구관리시스템 실행간의 관련성 규명이 본 연구의 핵심이다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 하여 R&D 지식관리시스템의 실행특성을 관찰하고, 성공적인 R&D 지식관리시스템의 실행을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
