  • Recently, the number of cars owned in Jeju Island and the use of tourist rental cars have been increasing rapidly. Therefore, parking problems are getting worse in residential and commercial areas. As a result, a system is required to secure parking spaces and utilize existing parking spaces. Therefore, this paper proposes a system for real-time sharing of free public and paid parking spaces by introducing services that provide information on nearby restaurants, tourist information, and real-time parking status. The system analyzes infrared sensors and CCTV images installed in the actual parking lot and provides convenience for service users by analyzing the space currently in use and the number of unused parking spaces in real time.

  • 본 논문은 전기자동차를 이용한 관광에 있어서 사용자가 선택한 목적지 집합에 대해 전기자동차 충전까지 고려하여 방문 순서를 결정하고 그 결과를 사용자 단말기 App을 통하여 보여주는 관광 스케줄러를 구현하였다. 스케줄링 엔진은 방문총거리가 짧으면서 충전대기시간을 최소화하기 위해 $A^*$ 알고리즘과 유전자 알고리즘으로 구현되었고 웹서비스 방식으로 단말기와 상호작용함으로써 서비스의 확장성과 편의성을 기한다.

  • 메타버스는 게임 기술을 활용하여 현실의 다양한 현상이나 경제 활동들을 가상의 세계로 구현하고 이를 실세계와 유사하게 동작하도록 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 플랫폼을 일컫는 말로서 최근의 코로나19 펜데믹 상황과 맞물려 주목 받고 있는 게임 확장 기술군의 하나라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지역 관광 활성화를 위해 지역 대표 관광지의 시그니처(signature) 구조물들과 공간을 메타버스 플랫폼 상에 구현하고 구현된 공간에서 사용자간의 커뮤니케이션을 통해 관광 수요를 촉진시키며, 오프라인 이벤트와의 유기적인 연동을 통해 궁극적인 관광 활성화에 기여하기 위한 온오프라인 연계 메타버스 콘텐츠를 구현한다. 구현된 메타버스 콘텐츠에서는 개인별로 설정된 캐릭터를 활용해 구현된 가상 공간에서 상호작용이 가능하도록 구성하여 가상 공간에서 체득된 정보를 온라인 상에서 자유롭게 교환할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 구현된 관광 메타버스 콘텐츠는 샌드박스형 메타버스 플랫홈으로 개발된 디토랜드를 기반으로 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Android 앱 기반의 새로운 문화재 관광 가이드 서비스를 제안한다. 본 서비스는 Google Map API와 문화재청에서 제공하는 전국 지정문화재 현황 API를 활용하여 문화재의 위치와 음성 가이드 서비스를 제공한다. 먼저 자신의 위치를 기반으로 주변의 문화재를 지도에 마커를 통하여 표시 해준다. 이는 위치 검색을 통하여 위치를 지정하여서도 가능하다. 마커가 표시된 문화재에 NFC태그를 설치하여 태그를 할 때 음성 가이드 서비스를 제공한다. 뿐만 아니라 마커가 표시된 문화재의 정보를 리스트로 나타내어 정보를 쉽게 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 이 서비스를 통해 기존 여행 가이드를 통해 제공받던 서비스를 무료로 편리하게 제공받을 수 있으며 이로 인해 더 많은 문화 관광이 활성화 될 수 있다.

Automatic Recommendation of Nearby Tourist Attractions related to Events (이벤트와 관련된 주변 관광지 자동 추천 알고리즘 개발)

  • Participating in exhibitions is one of the major activities for tourists. When selecting their next travel destination after participating in an event, they use map services and social network services, such as blogs, to obtain information about tourist attractions. The map services are location-based recommendations, because they can easily retrieve information regarding nearby places. Blogs contain informative content about tourist attractions, thereby providing content-based recommendations. However, few services consider both location and content. In location-based recommendations, tourist attractions that are not related to the content of the event attended might be recommended. Content-based recommendation has a disadvantage in that events located at a distance might get recommended. We propose an algorithm that considers both location and content, based on information from the Korea Tourism Organization's Linked Open Data (LOD), Wikipedia, and a Korean dictionary. By extracting nouns from the description of a tourist attraction and then comparing them with nouns about other attractions, a content-based relationship is determined. The distance to the event is calculated based on the latitude and longitude of each tourist attraction. A weight selected by the user is used for linear combination with the content-based relationship to determine the preference order of the recommendations.

  • The objectives of this study are to analyze the effects of major factors influencing cruise ship passengers' satisfaction with a port of call on overall satisfaction with it and the differences in satisfaction with the domestic port of calls. To achieve these objectives, as a conceptual framework of the study, cruise tourism and tourist satisfaction were reviewed, and the empirical studies on cruise ship passengers's perceptions toward the Korean port of calls were conducted. According to the findings of this study, the following suggestions were presented to the local governments with the port of calls. The local governments are required to improve the food services provided around the port of call areas, and in addition, in case of Cheju, improvement of tourism information service which is verified as the most significant factor affecting passenger's overall satisfaction with the port of call is needed as well.

An Individual Privacy Protection Design for Smart Tourism Service based on Location (위치 기반 스마트 관광 서비스를 위한 개인 프라이버시 보호 설계)

  • This paper proposes the technique to protect the privacy of those who uses Smart Tourism Service based on location. The proposed privacy protection technique (1) generates a shared private key, OTK(One Time Key) without information exchanging Users with a Tourism Server and provides Users and a Tourism Server with message confidentiality by encrypting data with the key, (2) concatenates users' ID, login time(timestamp), and randomly-generated nonce, generates OTK by hashing with a hash function, encrypts users' location information and query by using the operation of OTK and XOR and provides Users and a Tourism Server with message confidentiality by sending the encrypted result. (3) protects a message replay attack by adding OTK and timestamp. Therefore, this paper not only provides data confidentiality and users' privacy protection but also guarantees the safety of location information and behavior pattern data.

  • Concomitant with development of AR(Augmented Reality) and VR(Virtual Reality), interest in location based games and augmented reality have increased and various services have been developed. Due to this, AR, VR, MR(Merged Reality) techniques are considered one of fourth industrial revolution techniques. Oculus Rift which is representative of VR technology, and HTC VIVE need separate controllers, and don't offer service such as receiving external video information when users are using devices. In the case of project Alloy, which is a MR device of Intel, this has advantages such as controlling devices through hand signals and facial expressions, and receiving external video information. In this paper, we propose tourist guide system based on current position using MR. This system makes economical tour possible by arranging tourist attraction information which is from current position of tourists in correct places through external video information using MR, location determination using GPS, tourism information search using wireless internet.

Effect of PDA Guide Service on Users' Involvement, Satisfaction, and Reuse Intention -Focused on PDA Guide Service in Gyeongbokgung- (PDA를 활용한 안내서비스가 이용객의 몰입, 만족 및 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 -경복궁의 PDA안내서비스를 중심으로-)

  • Due to IT(information technology) development, various ITs have been applied to tourism. Since June 2010, PDA guide service was launched in Kyungbok palace. This study tried to find how effectively the service is operated by comparing flow, satisfaction and reuse intention of PDA users with those of who have received guide service by professional interpreter. The result indicates that those who have received professional interpretation showed to be more involved, satisfied and have more intention to reuse. The paper explored the composing factors of PDA guide service, which are 'interpretation', 'design', 'ease of use', and 'stability of operation'. Among these factors, interpretation was analyzed to be only factor what affects users' involvement and also most influential attribute explaining users' satisfaction and reuse intention. 'Interpretation', 'stability' and 'ease of use' are shown to have impact on satisfaction, while 'interpretation' and 'stability' have significant effect on users' reuse intention of PDA guide service. The operational implications from these results are suggested.
