As the results, for factors with statistically meaningful impacts at the level of meaningfulness (p<0.05); level of satisfaction showed regression coefficient of 0.476 and t value of 5.198 in essential factors; auxiliary factors showed regression coefficient of 0.232 and t value of 2.808; and sensual (five senses) factors showed regression coefficient of 0.165 and t-value of 2.013. Also, for re-visit, essential factors showed impacts with regression coefficient of 0.413 and t-value of 3.540; factors of menu composition showed regression coefficient of 0.228 and t-value of 3.118; and auxiliary factors showed regression coefficient of 0.218 and t-value of 2.643. In positive word of mouth factors, auxiliary factors showed impacts with regression coefficient of 0.273 and t-value of 2.555; sensual (five senses) factors showed regression coefficient of 0.264 and t-value of 2.238; essential factor showed regression coefficient of 0.237 and t-value of 2.230 and factors of menu composition showed regression coefficient of 0.161 and t-value of 2.167. • This study examined how Chinese tourists' beauty tour preferences and attitudes toward Korean culture impacted their purchasing behaviors, repurchasing intentions, and the likelihood that they would recommend the products and services they received. Between the 10th and 21st of June, 2016, a total of 277 questionnaires were distributed in Seoul, Busan and Daegu using SPSS 21.0. On the surveys, beauty tour preferences were divided into the following categories: human service, high quality service, convenience accessibility & cost, and facility & atmosphere. The study found that high quality service and convenience & accessibility significantly affected respondents' purchasing intentions, with high quality service showing the higher standardized beta value. Friendliness to Korean culture also had a significant impact on beauty tour purchasing intentions. Preference for human service, high quality service, and facility & atmosphere significantly affected the purchasing intentions and the likelihood o f respondent recommendations, with higher standardized beta values shown (from high est to lowest) in the preference for facility & atmosphere, and preference for human service and high quality service respectively. Concerning perceptions of beauty products, preference for quality had a significant impact on the repurchasing intentions and intentions of respondents to make recommendations, as did the respondents', friendliness toward Korean culture. This study suggests that, to be most effective, beauty tours should emphasize human service and facility & atmosphere, as well as high quality service. • The objective of this paper is to develop a structural equations model system for the purpose of tourists' excursion behaviour analysis with their information usage. A tourist' excursion behavior defined as activities in the sightseeing region between arriving and leaving time includes indexes with respect to activity' time use and the number of spots. Additionally, such indexes can be modeled as endogenous variables in the structural equation model system on the assumption that they are influenced by the degree of familarity on the sightseeing region, the degree of information usage, and individual attributes. The case study application involves excursion behaviour data such as one-day excursion activity and information usage diary that are observed in the Fuji Five Lakes, Japan. Since the models presented in the paper are available to statistically analyze the covariance among the endogenous variables, they have the advantage of effectiveness analysis on information usage in the excursion area, compared to the prior approaches such as discrete choice models.

From this point of view, identifying services provided by a cruise ship port, cruise tourists' satisfaction, and their behavioral intentions are significant issues at cruse destinations. The main purpose of this study was to identify significant service factors at the cruise ship port that have an influence on cruise tourists' satisfaction and loyalty in Jeju Island. To achieve the study purpose, a structured survey questionnaire was developed on the basis of reviewing related literatures. The survey was conducted through personal interviews at the Jeju Cruise Ship Port. In total, 386 useable samples were collected during the period from September 11 to October 29, 2012. According to the factor analysis using 15 attributes related to services at a cruise ship port, three service factors were extracted: (1) infra-services, (2) shore excursion services, and (3) attributes affecting the selection of shore excursions. Regression analyses indicated that two service factors(shore excursion services and attributes affecting the selection of shore excursions) significantly influence cruise tourists' satisfaction and loyalty. Findings in this study may be insightful and useful information to marketers or managers at cruise ship ports.

  • The aim of this study was to reveal the advantages and disadvantages of Terelj Mongolian National Park based on the impressions of foreign and domestic travelers, and subsequently suggest supporting ideas to make this tourist attraction more enjoyable for travelers. A statistical program(SPSS 20.0) and an IPA matrix method were used to reveal the impressions of travelers and the results showed the following ideas. First, we made the technical analyses to demonstrate the characteristics of the current natural scenery which travelers want to see and the results indicated that both Korean and Mongolian travelers overall were not satisfied and the Park was not as they had imagined. The second part of the research highlighted the differences between the impressions held by Mongolian and Korean travelers, which showed dissimilarities in cultural resources, food, variety of events, cultural functions and parking, all of which were shown as important criteria in sightseeing. The variations were found in scenes of nature, variety of programs, and food, areas which revealed and were very important in the overall satisfaction of travelers. Third, the IPA method was used for analyze the advantages and disadvantages of Terelj National Park. The Mongolian travelers nominated the width of the road, cleanliness, variety of events and parking are the most essential things to feel satisfied, but Koreans selected safety of travel, accommodation, the width of the road and cleanliness. Finally, we analyzed the feelings of the travelers at the end of their trip. The Mongolian travelers preferred the area resource and environment convenience to feel satisfaction. For Korean travelers, the area resource is the most important when choosing travelling sights. Based on these results, if we take responsibility to protect the beauty of nature, and create a sightseeing place using natural sources, while also making more comfortable accommodations and improving the services, it can be a more unique place than others and lead to greater overall satisfaction for travelers.

  • Despite a number of previous studies about cultural tourism festivals, studies on food menus in the cultural tourism festival setting have often been neglected. Considering the importance of food menus, identifying major selection attributes that satisfy visitors in a festival setting is vital. Using conjoint analysis, this study demonstrated that price was the most influential selection attributes to attract visitors. The time required between ordering and receiving food was found to be the second important selection attribute, followed by menu and place. Cluster analysis identified two distinct segments that take different sets of elements into account when making their selection decision. Conjoint simulation estimated the most preferred foodservice form in cultural tourism festivals setting would have 21.18% potential market share. The implications gained from this study provided an important starting point for determining key selection attributes in establishing strategies to enhance visitors' level of satisfaction.
