저학년 놀이학습 자료의 활용

  • 필자들은 제37회 교육자료전시회(1997)와 제38회 교육자료전시회(1998)에 작품을 출품하였다. 이들 교육자료전시회에 참가하게 된 동기는 다음과 같다. 입문기 아동의 수학교육은 학습내용에 대한 흥미를 가지도록 해야 하며 구체적인 조작활동을 통하여 수량에 대한 기초적인 개념과 원리, 그리고 법칙을 바르게 이해시켜 논리적 사고력을 기르도록 해야 한다. 그러나 대부분의 아동들을 목표수준에서 보면 만족스럽지 못하고, 시간이 지날수록 학습결손아가 늘고 있는 현실이다. 특히 오름길 학습지를 해결할 때는 우수한 아동에게도 조작활동을 시켜보면 뜻밖에 조작 활동을 제대로 못하고 당황하는 경우를 흔히 볼 수 있다. 이것은 개념 형성과 개인간의 차에 관심을 둔 지도가 이루어지지 않은 상태에서, 자기능력과 수준에 맞는 학습을 하지 못하고 다음 단계로 넘어가기 때문이라 판단하였다. 이에 필자들은 교과서에 예시한 활동이나 그림 자료들을 실제로 관찰하고 조작해 볼 수 있도록 구체적인 자료로 대체하여, 수학에서 요구하는 학습지도 원리에 적합하도록 하였다. 또 교실 수업에서 야기되는 개인차에 대한 학습지도상의 문제점을 해결하는 한편, 급우간 인간관계에 바탕을 둔 소그룹 협동 학습을 위한 자료로 수와 가감산의 원리를 쉽게 체득 시킬 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 고객의 요구는 더욱더 개성화, 다양화되고 있고, 글로벌 시장은 다양한 가치관, 문화, 전통을 바탕으로 지역적인 개성을 추구한다. 전 세계에 그물처럼 엮어진 인터넷망은 시간과 거리의 제약을 완전히 없앴다. 기업은 국가와 대륙을 초월한 세계 무대에서 치열한 경쟁을 전개하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 고객의 요구를 파악하여 이에 부합되는 제품의 생산 및 판매가 기업 경영에 있어서 주요 이슈로 등장하고 있으며, 이러한 추세는 제품 개발 기술의 보편화로 고객에 대한 서비스의 차별화로 집중되고 있다. 이런 수요를 충족시키기 해서는 CRM(Customer Relationship Management) 개념이 도입되어야 하고, 제조공정을 개선하며 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 모든 기업이 고객의 가치를 최대화 할 수 있는 동기화 생산이 필수적이라고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 CRM의 고객정보분류 방법 중 하나인 FART(F;Frequency, R;Recency, A;Amount, T;Type of merchandise/service)를 이용하여 주요고객을 분류하고, 이 정보를 Drum-Buffer-Rope 스케줄링 방법에 반영하여 기업의 생산능력과 우수고객 주문을 고려한 일정계획 방법을 제시한다. 이 결과로 우수고객에 대한 서비스 수준을 향상시키고 궁극적으로는 기업의 이윤을 최대화하는데 기여하고자 한다.

  • 현재 멀티미디어 서비스 분야에서 핵심적인 기술로 부상되고 있는 MPEG-4는 고압축률을 제공하며, 그 자체 구조의 모든 요소을 기술하는데 객체지향적인 기법을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 통신망과 단말 환경에 잘 대응하고 강력한 상호작용을 지원함으로서 효과적인 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록, MPEG-4 시스템에 객체 관리기의 기능을 추가하도록 한다. 이 객체 관리기를 통해, 장면트리를 구성하는 객체들에 우선 순위를 부여하고 관리하며, 사용자 상호작용에 따른 장면트리의 변경 및 각 객체의 정보 및 버전들을 관리하도록 한다. 또한 객체간의 시간 관계 모델을 정의함으로서 동기화를 효과적으로 지원 할 수 있도록 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 수업에서 학습자들에게 여러 차례의 형성 평가를 수행하고 그 결과에 따라 가산점을 부여하는 경우에 형성 평가 수행 시기와 그 결과에 따라 학기말 최종적인 성적 향상에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석해보고자 하였다. 형성평가를 실시한 각 회 차마다 학습자들의 성적 분포가 어떤지를 분석하고 최종적으로 각 회 차의 성적 분포와 비율을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 학습자들에게 형성평가 수행 시기에 따라 학습 동기 부여 정도에 차이가 있는지를 알 수 있었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify key factors of Co-opetition through examining the environmental and structural changes in the ports industry and suggest a few Co-opetition strategies for enhancing our ports capabilities in the long-term. In recent years, the trend toward market liberalization and globalization in ports industry has made rapid progress and it made the competition fiercer. To survive in this rapid changes, the ports have traditionally pursed a competitive strategy. However, an alternative strategy replacing the traditional strategy was introduced: namely, 'Co-opetition' a buzzword combining competition and co operation. Policy proposals this study suggests are the construction of a database regarding costs and benefits of ports for more effective analysis and improving the competitive power of a shipping company operating national flag carriers for achieving the purpose of Co-opetition and adoption of selection and concentration strategy for increasing the possibility of Co-opetition success.

A Study on the Uses and Gratifications on the U.S. TV Dramas: Focusing on Comparison to the Korean Counterparts (대학생들의 미국 텔레비전 드라마에 대한 시청동기 및 만족도 연구: 한국 텔레비전 드라마와의 비교를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the uses and gratifications of the U. S. TV dramas favored by the Korean college students. The uses and gratifications of the U. S. TV dramas are also compared with the Korean TV dramas. In addition, this study analyzes how the motives and satisfactions of students on the U. S. dramas influence on watching patterns of the Korean TV dramas. The results of the factor analysis show that student's motives on watching the U. S. TV dramas are composed of four factors, such as 'Entertainment/Relaxation', 'Getting Information', 'Environment/Companionship', and 'Sexual curiosity'. In contrast, the motives of watching Korean TV dramas are composed of six factors, which are added 'Korean Drama Characteristics' and 'Habitual Time-Spending' to four factors of the U. S. dramas. After dividing the student groups with the heavy and the light watchers, this research shows that three out of five for the U. S. dramas are significantly different, whereas two out of six factors for the Korean counterparts. Finally, the uses and gratifications of the U. S. dramas favored by the Korean college students influence little on the watching patterns of the Korean TV dramas.

System Performance Improvement of IEEE 802.15.3a By Using Time Slot Synchronization In MAC Layer (UWB MAC의 Time Slot 동기를 통한 시스템 성능 개선)

  • In this paper, we propose the algorithm to reduce guard time of UWB MAC time slot for throughput gain. In the proposed draft by multiband ofdm alliance (MBOA), Guard time of each medium access slot (MAS) is composed of shortest inter-frame space (SIFS) and MaxDrift which is the time caused by maximum frequency offset among devices. In this paper, to reduceguard time means that we nearly eliminate MaxDrift term from guard time. Each device of a piconet computes relative frequency offset from the device initiating piconet using periodically consecutive transferred beacon frames. Each device add or subtract the calculated relative frequency offset to the estimated each MAS starting point in order to synchronize with calculated MAS starting point of the device initiating piconet. According to verification of simulations, if the frequency offset estimator is implemented with 8 decimal bit, the ratio of the wasted time to Superframe is always less than 0.0001.

The Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning(PBL) across Learning Styles in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 학습유형에 따른 문제중심 학습의 효과)

  • This study was to identify the difference of achievement motivation, self-efficacy, self-directed learning across the learning styles after application of the Problem based learning(PBL) in Nursing students. Descriptive survey was performed from march to june, 2009 at a university in Jeju. The participants were 268 in freshman nursing student and PBL was used during one semester. The data from 242 participants were analysed using IBM SPSS 20.0 The results revealed that most nursing students had converger in learning styles. Achievement motivation and self-efficacy were the greatest scores in accommodator and self-directed learning was the greatest scores in converger. However, Achievement motivation, self-efficacy, and self-directed learning were lowest in diverger. Significant positive correlation was found among achievement motivation, self-efficacy, and self-directed learning each other. There were significant difference in achievement motivation, self-efficacy and self-directed learning across learning styles. More research is needed to determine the effects of PBL in nursing education including many variables.

Analysis for SEM of ARCS Factor and Persistent Learning-Intension in Educational Mobile App (교육용 모바일 앱의 ARCS 요인과 학습지속의도에 관한 구조모형 분석)

  • This study is aimed to perform the qualitative evaluation based on the ARCS Model of educational mobile applications for smart phones. The evaluation has been performed targeting 60 students who attending the subject of informational education in 3 different universities in 2012 by allowing them to select the available educational mobile App installed in their smart phone. After, the level of persistent learning-intension from each student and the efficacy of ARCS motivational strategy was measured at learner's perspective. The structural equation model(SEM) was established and analyzed with PLS method to understand the relationship between the ARCS motivational strategy and the persistent learning-intension. The results of the study could be summarized as followings. First, the educational mobile App in various the motivational strategies showed different results that is the highest attention as well as the lowest satisfactory level. Second, the relevance in motivation strategies had the statistically significant effect in attention, confidence, and satisfaction. On the other hand, the other factors of attention, relevance, and confidence showed statistically significant effect in satisfaction. Finally, result demonstrate that the relevance is the critical factor inducing the significant effect in persistent learning-intension among the motivational strategies.

The Characteristics of Child and Adolescent Suicide Attempters Admitted to a University Hospital (일 대학병원에 자살 시도 후 입원한 소아청소년들의 특성)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the differences of demographic and clinical characteristics between child-adolescents who received medical inpatient care and non-hospitalized adolescents after suicide attempts. Methods : The study included 35 child-adolescents who were hospitalized (Admission group) and 114 child-adolescents who were not hospitalized (Non-Admission group) as a result of a suicide attempt from 2009 to 2015. We compared sociodemographic, clinical, and suicide attempt-related characteristics through a chi-square test and logistic regression analysis to evaluate the differences between the two groups. Results : Child-adolescents of this study most commonly attempted suicide by poisoning, and for motivation of interpersonal problems. Admission group had significantly fewer attempts through injury by sharp objects (${\chi}^2=4.374$, p=0.037) and attempted suicide with a higher chance of actually dying when compared to Risk-Rescue Rating Scale (t=1.981, p=0.049). In addition, Admission group had relatively common motivation for academic problems (${\chi}^2=12.082$, p=0.001) and less motivation for interpersonal difficulties. (${\chi}^2=9.869$, p=0.002) Psychiatric diagnosis at the time of visiting the emergency department showed higher rates of depression in the admission group than Non-Admission group (${\chi}^2=8.649$, p=0.003). The results of logistic regression showed that depression affects hospitalization (OR=2.783, 95% CI 1.092-7.089, p=0.032). Conclusions : This study is meaningful in that it revealed the social and clinical characteristics of all child-adolescents who were hospitalized at a university hospital after attempting suicide. This study identified differences in motivation, methods, and psychiatric diagnosis of hospitalized adolescents and those who were not. Therefore, the results may help adolescent suicide attempters to get a discriminatory approach based on their admission.
